I've seen a lot of bad reviews of the Golfnow website, but I recently joined their VIP program and it is great! I can book a hot deal which typically saves 25% off of the regular rate and not have to be concerned about cancelling the tee time. Before being a VIP, I would pass up some great deals because you couldn't cancel a hot deal unless the course was closed. Also, you pay no booking fees for your entire foursome and that saves us $14 per round. Their customer service is outstanding!

Unlike most of these reviews I have had only good interactions with the customer service team. They have been quick to help and solve my problems.

Just booked today, it took a few minutes the girl that took the reservation was nice and very polite, I got my reservation and confirmation # through e-mail, overall the savings were worth the few minutes of wait time, thanks

I have been using Golfnow.com for several years. I've had a couple problems when the course did not get the info but as long as we had our phone with the email confirmation or a print out, the courses honored the price and the reservation. Normally we use the hot deals where we have to pay in advance. Twice we were rained out and the course was closed and we were issued a refund as soon as they confirmed the closure. Once, I had booked on a day we had matinee theater tickets and the course was good enough to let us cancel with less than 24 hr notice. I had been very happy until recently when I find good prices and times I want to book but discover I am not logged in. When I log in, the price I was eyeing is no longer there. This has happened twice in the past couple weeks. I'm getting suspicious they are aware we are price shopping, but isn't that the point of using their site?

Cheated me out of $250 when they refused to refund a cancellation eith a week to go.

I have used golfnow to book several teetimes over the past few years and have never had a problem. I have gotten some amazing deals and almost always save 20-50% off regulag course rates. Im surprised to hear so many others have had issues considering that the terms and conditions are clearly stated. I only book when I am 100% positive that I will be playing rain or shine and usually never 1-3 days ahead... sometimes even the same day... for an avid golfer trying who is trying to save some coin GolfNow is the only way to go...

Played gladstone golf course yesterday. Course is very well maintained. Excellent greens, cut fairways, very enjoyable. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. True up north gem.

If you live in Southern California area and like to golf, they have some of the best tee time deals I've found. If you live anywhere else in the US though, this site is useless. Giving it 4 stars because I live near a lot of the courses and the deals are always amazing.

My wife and I have booked dozens of rounds through Golfnow.com over the past 10 years with virtually no problems that weren't our own fault. It's a very useful service.

Wyboo golf is a 5 star wow for All is Arizona style golf. Greens where so nice, Fairways with its colorful green and yellow rough made me feel in Arizona.Its worth to drove 15 min from highway 95

It was convenient to search and make reservations via my Android phone when I visited Oahu, Hawaii. The discounted tee times were considerably cheaper than what the course charged, considering the courses in Hawaii have different rates for locals, visitors, and international residents. Played Royal Kunia and Makaha Golf Course while paying less!
One fallback was that there were limited tee times with specials.
