The filthiest, most disgusting dining room area I ever ate in. Embarrassed for my wife. Older gentleman working behind the dessert line was eating from the displays. Can only imagine what the kitchen look like. Waitress had buss bucket and grabbed our sodas without washing her hands. Wasted our money. NEVER AGAIN. I should have taken pics. This particular location is terrible. The reason we went was because we had a good experience in Elyria. First impression is everything. I should not have overlooked the filth walking in the front entrance. Not even a 1 star but I guess I had to choose something. YUCK

Golden Corral has stopped serving A1? This is unacceptable. We have eaten there a lot and the food is usually good. But, without A1? We probably wont go back. You cant serve steak without A1. The in house steak sauce is ok, but it is not A1.

A proactive approach is what I was trying to do in preparing a manager to know as my guest arrive I would pay for all that attend my sons birthday celebration. Did I or should I prepay and then get a refund if I overpay for my guest? I was told to wait, it was Sunday and no tables could be held and when all my guest arrive then I pay. I was a little set back because I was ready to sit and have a cold beverage. I asked if I could buy a drink from a guarding of the register manager and he was confused and acted so. But said it will be on the house and started towards the register, reached his hand for my payment and charged me for a glass of drink. My brother was with me and wanted water, the manager had to make a second trip because he either didn't hear me or wasn't listening. We waited 40 people deep for all to arrive and then requested to sit at the left of the restaurant, but was guided to the very far right of the restaurant passed dirty tables and awkward table placement. A very nice server that didn't understand English well came and we immediately gave her a tip so we would be taken care of with no hesitation, delay, and confusion. And all of a sudden we have 4 servers at our table asking for our reciept for our proof of drink purchase our server was confused as to why they were there. I told the servers the manager charged me seperate for my drink and the others were charged on a different reciept (Had to find the reciepts) another language barrier.
We all decided to go get food and most of the items on salad bar side were low and evidence of spillage everywhere. So no fruit or salad fixings basically. I return passed the dirty staging tables of eaten food and plates and glasses and napkins to my table and there are 4 To go cups of dark soda. We like tea, but the cashier selected the size and flavor, we had to order all of our drink choices and all 10 glasses stayed at our table of six, plus more refills, believe it or not we still had room for our plates of food but it took a while to get our table clean and decent. While we were in a corner and could not see if any more guest were arriving. And if space and crowdedness was not already an issue a robotic container came and parked itself behind my sons seat, we could then not get out. People began to put their used articles in the robot, nice for them but not for us.
One nice gesture that occurred was I was given some scotch tape to put money on my sons shirt for his birthday tradition because I didn't have pins. More happened that just wasn't ok, but I believe the manager was more concerned about people not paying than the availability of food, cleanliness, and really understanding his customers.
Please excuse any an all typos, bad grammer, and incorrect punctuation.

Tip for consumers:
Also I had asked a different manager if they were going through a shift change he assured me from 14 to 13 people we would be ok...I believe on Sundays since the other manager made it clear they are busier they should have more staff than 13.

I went to Golden Corral on 7/15/23. All the food tasted the same. There were 4 people in my party.

Went to GOlden Corral today had not been for a long time because as someone on a fixed income it's pretty expensive for a meal. I do not like their new layout. The selection is half what it used to be. Paid 20$ for two people and didn't even get any steak.

Today, after being closed for a long time, I visited golden corral # 766 in Tampa, its remodeling was spectacular, the food was delicious and fresh. But, there was something that impacted me a lot and it was the treatment of the supposed manager Andrea Sanders to a young waitress, because the place was super busy and the waitress had 2 tables which she had not cleaned, I can understand that working under pressure is difficult, but nothing justifies the rude way of treating her workers and even less in front of the costumers, we all witness her bad attitude, she has no professional ethics at all and I think they should take measures in this regard so that she controls her character, because to directing a work team is based on respect

We drove 65 miles one way to eat here for Mother's Day. Over $120. For dinner. It was just ok. The Chocolate fountain Nolonger is operating and The Cotton Candy is Gone.(very disappointing for the children). The place was packed and the Employees were friendly and helpful.
The worst part for me was the Dust you will see in the photo.
Not sure we will come back to this one as this is the 2nd time I have been Disappointed.

On Saturday, May 22, while dining at Waldorf Maryland, the waitress brought plates with bare hands that she had just cleared a table. She used no gloves or nothing, this is very very unsanitary. This is not acceptable. Waitress should use gloves to clear tables. Go back to the old way of getting plates, put gloves or napkins for people to get their plates. Thank so much. I enjoy going to the restaurant and I plan to continue.

The roast beef is always cooked to well done. It is vrey in color. I go here 3 times a week with family and the last 8 time it has been cooked to med well before they begin to serve it on buffet. … when I spoke with Jeff a manager he told me to write it on website. I spend 1000.00 a month here and my favorite was always the roast beef they slice for you. This Golden Corral cooks the meat welldone before it gets served and protocol is MED RARE TO PUT IT ON LINE AND IT COOKS MORE UNDER THE LAMPS.sad as much as I spend their and they couldn't care less about what customers think. It's a service the more people they seat the more they make and if meat is overcooked noone wants to eat it so it saves lots of money on the roast because noone wants it. Sorry way to do buisness golden corral.
Fix your roast so most will enjoy it. I've mentioned it everytime I come there this month which is 8 times and no change. Meat is grey in color severely overcooked on purpose.

My husband a a couple of friends went to golden corral in Springfield Mass on last evening and we were totally disappointed. The catfish and shrimp were to salty, the Lima beans was raw, the cabbages were uncooked as well, the ribs were really huge lots of fat, but they were tender. The salad I made for myself was fresh and the piece of steak I had was enjoyable. But I will not be returning until they get real cooks that understand that emptying a bag of frozen vegetables needs cooking and seasoning the cabbages as well the. Etta and George

The mgr at the one here on 22 nd street Tucson is ill-mannered uncaring, and not hospitable, and I think that the corporation is the same. The excuse is the viris. They need to improve, The food is not good sometimes, the mashed potatoes are not done like before.the vegetables are poorly cooked.the best employees are the waitresses who are great.and waiters. I would say improve and when you send out the birthday invite for a free meal do not hook it in with me buying another.My husband died and I have no one to take, and moreover that's not a gift like before.

Yesterday was the first time I have been disappointed with golden coral, there was no food in quite a few servers and not much of a variety and on top of that when the servers were filled it wasn't very good. We have been eating at Golden Coral for years and yesterday was the first time of being disappointed.

While the prices are reasonable and the customer service was good the food is not. It left us bloated and feeling yuck. The chicken wasn't crispy enough and from the pasta to the meatloaf everything lacked flavor! Very disappointed.

Ate at the Golden Corral located in Hammond, La. #2689. Disappointing experience. Several dishes were out. Tables had not been cleaned prior to being seated. Dessert bar had no plates nor silverware. Bathroom faucets were not working properly ( had to hold push handle down and hold with one hand), one of two hand dryers not working. Signs are strong that management is not paying attention to details. Sad to see was once a really good place to eat. Receipt #F-0119, code **************. Date of visit 7/9/2021 3:39pm.

The food was great and most of the staff was but beacause of COVID only 10 people could sit at a table and there were10 adults and a 3 year old and made someone move.

Coral. Was in to day ate my meal, drank my
Soda about 30 minutes had gone by no waters showed up in our area. I saw what looked like two floor supervisor's. I approached them and told them we've hade no waitress in our area for the past 30 minutes. They gave no responce. So I went to the cashier and asked for a supervisor and a lady there said she was. I told her my situation, she was just as indeferent as the two I had approached on the floor. The time I had been there was not a good experience either. I've always been a generous tipper. However the last two times I left no tip.
I will not be back. I'm a Veteran and see about 500 Veterans over a year and there's always instent communications between Veterans. I won't be promoting Golden Coral.

Not only did they raise the price $2.00, they cut back on offered items that were available pre-pandemic like the following: mini shrimp at salad bar gone; steak bits/strips gone at salad bar; fried shrimp gone from lunch menu. The fried chicken sucks and taste like fried grease with too much SALT seasoning. They salted the hell out of the mashed potatoes-could hardly eat them! They think that people are stupid and don't care? I will not be back for lunch. The ambience in their is like a circus! You have at minimum of 20 table waiter staff hearding around like cattle by the Manager having meetings in the dining room. Very noisy and unorganized staff. Place really sucks

Very disappointed to hear that they were out of horse meat. I love horses. I was promised golden coral, and there was also no coral, especially not the golden kind. Also, John was a very sweaty worker. Anyway, if there were less Johns and more horse meat, I'd sleep better.

Everything was fine to start we sat near the desert section of Golden Corral Clinton Township and behind us was a girl with extremely long braided hair massive with red braids which is fine however cleanliness is the key right now and that hair was NOT pulled up and then that it was traveling freely all over the desert counters and when I went up to the desert counter waiting until she was done, under the counter, textng and plugging in her blue tooth. So she can practice singing,. She said it was self-serve I said I'm aware of that but there are No dishes. Frustrated which seemed like forevrr the annoying singing over the play device in the restaurant, to her music of choice on her phone. Is not appropriate behavior for a employees to be more worried about her appearance, her texting, and her singing practice for the next Superstar idol. I think NOT. Number one rule address your customers who approach the counter. This is not my first experoence with this woman. Many times eaten here, but enough is enough.
If the rest of us have to wear gloves. Her long fingrrnails should be covrred at all times in food service. A restrarant it would seem necessary to put a net to her waist length hair. Finally leave your phone in the locker and blue tooth. No need to practice amature mic night while customers are dining, Texting can wait until your break and keep your mind on your responsibilities. As a server. In whatever capacity that is right now.

I went there for the first time today, I tried several types of food and it was clear to me that no effort was put into seasoning or taste. The food was bland and while it did look really good, it wasn't. I was told that Golden corral was a good place to eat so I tried it, that was not my impression. I did not try the chocolate fountain after seeing kids dip their fingers in it. I will say this the waitress we had was very nice she did a good job of clearing the plates and refilling drinks. I think her name was breanna.
