Best customer service, all around lovely product, would definitely purchase from here again! Buying gets easier when there are professional experts to help in choosing the right product.
- Ordered 1 item: delivery was to be for 14 feb. Did not arrive, and no notice of any kind. - 15 Feb: receive a notice it will be received on 16 Feb. Didn't need it by then so i asked to cancel. "Can't cancel an order under 3 days of shipping date"- so my money kept by GB and the vendor and I just need to accept this. -16 Feb: will not arrive until 7PM. I'm not in the delivery area anymore, and it won't be delivered until 7PM, so no one will be able to receive it. They offered a lot of apologies, and some misdirection (reminding me how to prepare the food I don't have when I get it/if I get it) but at then end of it, my money is gone, and they don't own the problem= FAIL. The hardest part is when customer service drowns you in apologies, and "so sorry for YOUR experience, here's a discount to suffer our uselessness again for a little less money than what you spent before". At the end they're trying to sell you on a spoonful of excuses you know they themselves couldn't swallow if they had to endure the same incompetence they spill on you. It's a sales portal, and like many other sales, they're not skilled in customer service or ownership. Some of these well named chefs should be careful of brand association
Everything I've ordered from Goldbelly has been as expected, and arrived on time. That gumbo from Commanders Palace tho. My happy place. Some stuff seems to be "sold out" and months later still hasn't come back like "prince st pizza", I wish they timed out the seller quicker so they restock or lose the listing. Shouldn't be sold out for half a year, that just means you stopped. But all in all, glad Goldbellys service is an option.
Tip for consumers:
It’s a good service to have when you have a craving. Still wish places would lose the listing if they stop shipping Goldbelly.

Food is fabulous as always. Love getting food we miss and crave from other parts of the US.
Fast delivery and arrived well packaged. The tuna was delicious! We used it for sushi and poke.

Not sure why but Crab Cakes weren't mentioned on either questionnaire. I gave this an eight because they are absolutely the best Crab cakes I've ever, but arrived with no ice, or dry ice and were completely thawed. They at them in two days as they felt not safe in refreezing any of them.

Esposito sausage is very good. I'm from Jersey, living in Illinois now. I know good Italian sausage. Esposito is good.
VERY Disappointed with Fat Mama's Tamales. I decided to make my tamales today and noticed there was a hair frozen in the package. Disgusting!
Options were good. We were given a delivery date and then got word that the package would arrive three days earlier. That happened to work out well, but I guess in some cases, especially with perishable food, it could have been a problem.
The lobster rolls were enjoyed and delicious. When I called because they did not arrive on time for the gift, your follow up was timely.

Product was delivered on time and was still cold. More importantly, this delivery gave us a chance to try some hot dogs from an iconic hot dog stand that we would probably have never tasted if it weren't for goldbelly. The hot dogs are unlike the generic hot dogs and the video showed us how to prepare them just like they do at Walter's Hot Dogs. My wife wants us to order them again - which is a real complement since she usually doesn't care for hot dogs. In all, it was a great dining experience.
The lobsters were great, but not cheap. That combined with the cost of shipping made this a one-time experience.
We almost always enjoy what we order. The pies from Betty's were outstanding. But thew prices are so high that we are now waiting for flash sales with free shipping. (And of course BOGOs if offered!)
Everything was as described. Website was easy to used. Food arrived exactly when estimated. Well packaged too.

Insanely priced delivery though - I bought it from the UK for my mother in law in LA so was obviously going to pay for it but thought the price was insane! We would have had fre delivery in the UK for that! I also bought them
On the Wednesday I think and they said it would be a week delivery - you guys heard of expedited delivery? And to then charge $40 the equivalent of £30 was a joke! Ha - was the same price as the macarons, but mother in law was happy! Would I use you again - who knows?! Might just spend £100 on them here in London and ship them separately myself!
The food I ordered was a gift and was received very well. I'm anxious to try something for myself.
The quality of the product was great and shipped very securely. Customer service also helped me add a promo code to my order that was mistakenly removed during checkout.
I love the selection of items usually quite hard to find.
And the quality is good.
But...
Received 30 oysters within 3 days of ordering, but no word on the shucking knife I also ordered.
Otherwise, very impressive turn around!
My daughter said the crust was delicious, but she was expecting more spices and less fruit filling. She said it was not like the mince meat pies she had while living in England. It was good and her other guests ate it and ask what kind of pie it was, many thought it was a chutney type pie. So, I will head back to England for the next pie. Sorry, I know from the prior reviews you will not lack for customers.
