Everything was done very promptly and no hassle at all.
Glyde is horrible. First of all, it DID get here on time, but the phone is a piece of crap! I bought an iPhone 4 and it's absolutely terrible. It used to just go off and stay off for 30 minutes-3 days. Now, the screen is messed up and it is currently off and will not come back on. Stay away from Glyde!
I purchased an iPhone 6 through Glyde. Everything is great, phone works, arrived in great shape. I then sold my iPhone 5s through Glyde. Same smooth experience there.
My reason for not giving a five star review... I noticed when selling my iphone 5s that the suggested price to list it at was far below what iphone 5s's were going for and there were no 5s's with mine's specs listed on Glyde at the time. I increased the price as high as it would let me in that condition category and it sold within a week of listing. Something to be aware of if you're using the service and perhaps something Glyde can work to improve in the future.
I too had my account "flagged" due to a fraud alert. They did not answer my email explaining why this would happen (I have perfect credit) and confirming that my credit card would not be charged. This makes no sense. I've never been turned down due to credit in my 20+ year credit history. Really frustrating.
Payment for device was credited over a week from receipt, and they simply would not explain why they were flat out two business days late from their revised payment date. Also gave canned responses to questions that require a thought out response.
After selling my phone I did not get any notifications or payment, so after a week I decided to contact Glyde. However, it's almost impossible to contact Gylde, it took them almost a week for them to return my email and fb messages. Also they did not even apologize for their transgressions. It took about 3 weeks after the sender receiving my phone to get my payment, must I remind you it's supposed to be 3 days. Customer service is the worst I have ever seen.
3 people cancelled their sale to me of a Samsung Galaxy S6, one or two weeks after the sale. It took me 4 trys and about 40 days to get a Samsung S6. Glyde offered me a discount on the next phone, but I didn't need another phone. After I complained about the 3rd cancelled phone, Glyde customer service would not respond to any of my emails after that.
It's a pretty good way to make a buck in comparison to trading games in at gamestop. Really the only disappointing parts about it are the shipping time it takes for them to get the packaging to you, and also that a lot of the time some games won't be purchasable or sellable. I'm talking AAA titles too, not just random indie games or cheap crappy games.
I first went to Gazelle to sell my iPhone. They were to give me $15. I sold it on Glyde for $125! Need I say more?
I have sold several games through Glyde because I've found it to be the most-simple way to get the best price for them. While selling them at the local game store might be easier, I only get pennies on the dollar instead of fair market value. Glyde's process couldn't be easier, too.
Been using Glyde since its inception and love it. It has only gotten better and the prices trump the best sales sights on the web.
Despite multiple emails, Glyde has refused to contact me as to why they have frozen my account. I cannot buy new phones, or withdraw the money I have on my account. There does not seem to be a way to talk with a representative on the phone directly, which is incredibly frustrating.
Very smooth process to sell to old iphone 3G's where no one else was interested in them
This site is so easy to sell or buy things. I have sold old phones & Games... The games being the best to sell, because what are you going to do with an old game, so you might as well make some money on it! I've never had any problem with this site, and the one time when I thought something got lost in the mail the support staff was very helpful in tracking it down and finding it again.
I needed to sell my slightly used iPhone 5 and I really didn't want a lot of hassle or work to do. Glyde couldn't have made the process easier. I definitely recommend it. I'm not sure if I would have gotten more money if I would have sold it through another sight like eBay or whatever. But I do know that I hate having to deal with shipping and all that crap. Plus I didn't have to worry about talking to anyone or having to be murdered through Craigslist. Piece of mind is worth a lot... Just saying.
I sold two phones, a 4S and a 5S and the only frustration was when the 4S was returned by one buyer, there was no information about what they found wrong!
Always have had great experiences on Glyde. Love how fast goods ship, kits ship and the swiftness of customer service and their responses. Excellent site. Always use them.
I sold several iPhones and a Kindle. The iPhones sold in fewer than 48 hours. I had a return and issues with one of the iPhones, and their customer service was very helpful in resolving the issues. I would use Glyde again.
Why Is My account on hold after ordering a iphone 5?
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
