I highly recommend using Glyde. I've used it now a few times when I've upgraded to a new Iphone and needed to see my old one. It's much better than trading in at one of the carriers. It's quick, easy and convenient and you receive more money back in your pocket.

I made a profile on SiteJabber specifically to warn people away from Glyde. Save yourself the headache and avoid it. Like many other reviews here, my account was flagged and put on hold when I tried to buy a phone, and if this happens to you, good look getting it fixed this decade. Their customer service department consists of an email address that they may or may not answer, no telephone number of any kind. They say it will take UP to 2 business days, but it has been going past a week for me and they haven't even responded to numerous inquiries I made as to when I can expect the hold to be removed. The kicker is they don't actually cancel your order when they put a hold on it, so even if it takes them weeks to remove the hold and by which time you've gotten fed up and gone someplace else, they're still going to charge your card and then you have a whole other hassle of shipping back a product you didn't want and trying to track them down to refund you. I'm in the midst of this right now and needless to say I am regretting it. Save yourself the time and buy somewhere else online, there are numerous better options
Glyde is a great site. They give you all the tools you need to get the best price for your merchandise. I have bought and sold a few things, and the experience has been very good!
So far I've had a great experience with Glyde. Wish they could offer more items to sell. Only serious problem I have is their lack of ability to change prices on MacBooks. I want to sell mine but the price they required was too low.
I ordered a phone from Glyde on Aug. 8 but was flagged for some reason and sent to their fraud department. They said it would take 2 days to clear up but took until Aug. 28th. Aug. 28th was suppose to be my delivery date. A tracking label for my phone was finally created on Aug. 28 but never shipped. Granted I'm without a phone for this whole time. I continued to email but my only response was we will cancel the order if nothing happens by the end of the week which was Sept. 12. On Sept. 12 I checked my tracking # and it still had not shipped so I assumed Glyde cancelled my order as they stated they would. I further called my credit company and filed a dispute for my money to be refunded and purchased a phone from somewhere else. Well on Sept. 14th I finally received a phone but it had a completely different tracking number and I have not paid for it since the credit card company refunded my money. I still have not heard back from the company nor did they mention a new tracking number was created for me on Sept. 4th. I have emailed them for a return shipping label so I can return the phone but doubt I will hear back from them.

Stay away from this site. I too had them tell me that my credit card was flagged by their fraud detection software which is totally bogus. I work for a financial company that uses fraud detection software and I know how it works and nothing on my credit card account history would have triggered that type of response. Their customer service is non existent. They are the fraud!

I've made over $1,000 selling on Glyde. This is the easiest service you'll ever use. They don't buy the phone from you but facilitate the sale to other users. Every time I upgrade a phone, I never have to pay anything. I sell the phone on Glyde and it covers the cost of the the phone plus extra money for accessories. Don't bother trying to sell your device on other websites that give you a fraction of the amount your device is worth. We know the dangers of selling on Craigslist or situations putting yourself in harms way. Sell on Glyde and watch the money roll in!
My experience was quick and easy! I sold an iPhone for a price that was WAY above any other online seller quote within 48 hours of posting it on Glyde.
I think Glyde is a better way to go than Gamestop for trade ins and credit, but the shipping charges really cut into your cash. $4 to ship a Vita game is a little ridiculous. I guess they have to make money somehow.

I sold my Macbook on August 27th. As of Sept 4th, the tracking for the mailer still says it's not even sent. It takes >8 days to send an empty box from California to Colorado? After reading numerous reviews where sellers never got their money in the end and no one could ever contact customer service, I chose to cancel the transaction and try eBay instead. No wonder so many buyers complain their transactions get canceled - this site doesn't know how to treat their sellers and process transactions in a reasonable time! Of course Glyde emailed me that they're charging me $6 for the mailer - such crap. Seems like the whole thing is a scam.
Like many others (wish I had seen this before bothering with Glyde!), I placed two orders for 2 Kindle e-readers. After several hours, I received notice that my account was on hold and the orders canceled. I got an email saying that my account was flagged with a fraud detection system and I would not be able to use Glyde. I have excellent credit and have never had any issue like this before. I can only guess that they run some sort of credit check and since I have a freeze on our credit, it would not allow them to see it and they decided they don't want the business. Good riddance. Avoid the hassle and skip this company and site.
If you want to use our site, you better move at a glacial pace or we'll ban you forever. Makes a ton of sense, right? Seriously, very poor customer service and business practice. Never using them again.

Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
