Hello Glyde,
Regarding order # *******041
Placed today 10/19/2015
At aprox 1:15 pm. I got a email at 1:36pm. That my account was on hold due to fraud suspicions and that the order was canceled.(see attached)

Hi Henry,

Thank you for checking on your account status and your purchase.

Unfortunately, our fraud software was unable to validate the information provided and could not process the transaction. Your order was canceled and the card used towards this purchase will not be charged. Any charges you see should be in a pending state only, and your card company should release the hold on the money within the next few business days.

I should let you know that we use a third party fraud analyst software that collects industry data to help flag suspicious purchases. Since our fraud software could not verify your information, we are unable to re-open your account.

I checked with my credit card co. And they approved $302.60 at
1:57pm today 10/19
They approved $302.60 at 4:15 pm 10/19
And approved $302.60 at 4:17pm 10/19
All 3 of these were approved and are now pending.
I do not understand what your people are emailing me and why are you processing my order 2 more times 3 hours after you sent me an email that my account was put on hold and the order was cancelled and my account would not be able to reopen my account...
I would like a phone number to speak to a manager please ASAP!
Or an email from a mgr. Please. I feel like I am being treated like a criminal instead of a customer.
Also I would like to know if I am banned from your site now or why am I on hold and can someone help me place this order or not.
There was nothing wrong with my credit card or the info I have given you. The credit card co said order amount was approved so I need to find out what is going wrong on your site, so I am trying one last time to resolve this and also to let you know 3 amounts of $302.60 are now pending in my account from today's order.
After reading the 100's of dissatisfied customers having the same problem, you all at Glyde have some serious problems

I heard about Glyde on one of my morning tech bite reviews. I had an I phone to sell. I went to the website and found it very easy and self explanatory. The shipping was fantastic. The kit came with everything including the shipping liable. I strongly recommend Glyde for electronic sales and purchase

Hassle free and quick service

I had a Samsung Note that I no longer needed because I changed carriers and upgraded. I was told about Glyde and the easy way to sell your extra smartphone for a good price. So I went to the website got the information, gave them my information and next thing you know the phone is sold and the money is in my account. It was very easy to do. I wish most businesses operated this way.

I placed my order on Sat. 10/17 and then activated my new "security chip" credit card on Sunday 10/18. On Monday, 10/19... Glyde cancelled my order and locked my account... then Chelsea said she was "terribly sorry" but added since it was 3rd party fraud detection software she couldn't re-open my account... So I guess that email address is banned forever. Absurd! Is it unreasonable to have one chance to update your credit card info?

Bad experience

Sold two phones on glyde at the same time, shipments were mixed up in error. When I realized what had happened upon shipping I immediately contacted glyde customer service via email but no corrective action was taken nor did I get a valid response: to this day I have not rec'd a response from anyone at glyde except for the automated acknowledgement of my email with a note that I would be contacted.

Easy if you're patient

Its a great site. I've been able to off load a good number of games that have been sitting in a box for years for a decent chunk of change. Nothing crazy but its better than the depreciating value of the box of stuff. My only real gripe is sometimes the shipping packets take a little while to get to you and then the buyer can be all full of gripes about their stuff not getting sent sooner.

Poor service

I ordered a phone on Thursday the 15th I get a conformation email saying thanks for your purchase a receipt of the transaction and then a hour or so later I get a email saying there was a problem and they need to verify my information that's bull $&@/ I've never heard of something like that I called my bank and the bank and even they don't understand why they are putting the money on hold because they already took it so if you have my money send me the phone! I also emailed with a couple questions and have yet to hear back really really not impressed and very poor customer service!

I decided to buy from Glyde because I could trade my old device when buying a replacement. Convenient, right? Wrong!

Right away, Glyde sent the carton for me to return my old device. But I needed the new device before I could ship the old one.

The new device never came.

Glyde was so gracious to contact me and confirm that the new device was never delivered and to cancel my order. Why would they consider that good service?

Now Glyde is going to charge me $3.00 for the shipping carton I was supposed to use to send my old device to them. Really?

Purchases – Ebay. Negative comments Glyde!

I'm very sorry to see that the seller did not fulfill their shipment of your order in time so that you could send your device to your buyer. We do not recommend listing a device for sale until you have your new one in hand and activated. Cancellation like this are rare and we hope you will give Glyde another chance. Please keep in mind that Glyde is a peer-to-peer marketplace and you are selling to an individual buyer when you list and buying from an individual seller when you order. The vast majority of sellers are timely and reliable.

I ordered an iPhone 5c that was reportedly in "excellent" condition for $200. I was charged three consecutive times for the thing, and when I finally got it two weeks later It wouldn't even charge. I rejected the phone just over a week ago now and was told I'd be sent a new box and shipping label to ship the phone back with - it still hasn't shown up in the mail, yet I have received an email stating that if I don't send it back within 48 hours I will not receive a refund... kinda hard to return the phone without the box and label I was told I'd receive! I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING GLYDE, EVER. Wait, scratch that, if you want to rip someone off for a defunct phone that they'll likely be stuck with, yes, this site is for you! Sell your broken crap at high prices to the naive and trusting consumer! If you are NOT trying to get screwed out of your money and want a product that actually WORKS and is as described, DO NOT USE GLYDE.

Bad customer service

Trying to buy a iPhone 6 plus from them, they ask me 48 hours to check all my information from my credit card, the pending payment was showing on my account, its been over 4 days now and they did not reply any of my emails back, don't buy from them

I ordered a phone using a valid credit card and payment was approved. Within twelve hours they suspended my brand new account and reversed the charge. Glyde says it's due to fraud detection via third party software. Because they refused to explain what was wrong with my card and let me make it right, I filed a complaint with the credit card company (MC).

Easy Peasey

I've sold two products and it was very easy. Set your price, wait. If it doesn't sell, lower the price. Then when it sells they send you all the packing materials to send it on. You pack it up, drop it off at the post office. Soon after that there is money available. I had it deposited into my checking account. Very easy service.

I Purchased 2 i phones from glyde.com to then have my account suspended and orders cancelled, meanwhile the funds are still being held (nearly $600) i use my card all the time for purchases without a problem,
My thoughts are Glyde.com may think my card details are worth more than my custom. Their explanation was that "We understand that some orders just aren't meant to be"
What a load of bollocks.

Fraud company

I bought a iPad air with 4G from this seller and upon receiving it, I didn't check it whether it's a 4g or not cos I was using only the wifi option. After few months I tried to use the 4g using a sim, but I found this is a device with only wifi and doesn't have 4g option as advertised. I let the company know this and they promised me they will issue a coupon code which will give me a 15% discount, but when I tried to purchase an item from the site my card has been blocked and put on hold.
I send them multiple mails to activate it, but no use. They actually intent to block me from using the coupon code and they did. Though I have purchased so many items from the site in the past, they don't need to verify my card again and put ti on hold... Please don't go for Glyde as you have so many other easier options in the market.

Tried to sell my Sprint iPhone 5 16GB. You would not let me set my own price. Some bull$#*! quick sale only price of $39. Why are you trying to rob me?! $#*! you, straight up. I sold my iPhone 4s for $79. Does that make any sense?

Charging me too much
