Dont fall for this website or the phony 2 reviews they posted. They charged my credit card for a dress and shipping I never received. They (Judy) did not respond to emails once they take your money. I dont have Facebook or twitter. People need to be aware. Please please stay away from this website.

The dress I bought really doesn't look like the picture, the tailoring was off, and it smells really weird and fishy. Very gross. I was under the impression that you could return it if it wasn't to your satisfaction, but am now in the process of arguing back and forth about something that should be a simple return. They have offered me a 5% discount, which to me is a joke. I wish I'd read these reviews before buying. Stay away!

My daughter ordered her dress according to their size guidelines. It does not fit is not well tailored. According to their policy (which I read before letting her order it) full refund if you don't like or doesn't fit. Now they are asking for pics of where it is not sown well one of her trying it on. They suggested selling it if she doesn't like it what a joke it's ugly and doesn't fit. They are terrible and fraudulent!

I placed an order for some dresses a month ago but decided to cancel the order due to the event being cancelled. I gave the noticed stated on their website for a full refund. They are scammers! They kept making excuses that the bank had to keep 10% for their service charge which is not true. They lied about their full money back refund and kept $100 of my money. Do not under any circumstances buy from this site.

Glam Gown is scam. They do not follow the policies stated on their web site. Actual attire is not as shown in the pictures. Made cheap and charged high prices. Buyers be ware.

I bought a 250$ dress and it came in a timely fashion and was absolutely gorgeous.
Some of the measurements were off, but i think i made mistakes when filling in the chart.
Im actually sad that I can't find the website again.

Ordered my dress! Argued about the colour they hadnt listened to me. Received my dress! Ordered atleast a size bigger to be sure that it would fit with lace up and was not a standard size! Or was made wrong! I am a fit person and it wouldnt get over my thighs. They claim theyll pay for alterations! Thats a lie! And when I took it for alterations there was no extra fabric to fix anything! Poor poor poorly made! Pathetic and rude to deal within liars! Especially JUDY

I ordered a dress for my daughters grad for 2018. The dress we thought we were getting was nothing that we received. Ot was a total disappointment and joke nothing at all like the dress on their site. The only way to contact is by email and its always this Judy Lee individual who is ignorant with answering questions when requesting refund, even after you send them the dress on line and the dress what you got! She comes back wanting a pic of my daughter in a dress to fix the problem? Needless to say this goes on she plays stupid or maybe she is stupid. They do not honor exchange refund and you will be stuck with a pathetic dress and out of money! Total rip off! The reviews that are good I believe they do it themselves hence the last names used. Dont do it. I'm reporting them to federal trade commission and fraud. Org

Against my better judgement I made the mistake of ordering a gown online at GLAM Gown. The American/Canadian site with very inexpensive prices and many varieties of gowns to choose from. I ordered a gown for my sons wedding, the gown arrived in a balled up package with the return label from Malaysia! The gown was nothing like the photo and the material was heavy and poor quality. When I inquired about a refund after numerous emails back and forth, I was told that they could only offer me 3% (of $200 wich is $6.00 in refund) their excuse was the tailor who made the dress only made 3%. It wasnt even worth $6! And some child labor industry in Malaysia has these people making these gowns for pennies! No where on their site was mention of another country (tho it was suppose to be Canada) nor were the terms of 3% refund mentioned as well. I am pursuing the charges to my credit card with my company and have sought advice from my attorney. I should have listened to my gut when deciding to order. They are scammers and will take your money and you will not be offered a refund. There is no way to contact them only through email to get a return email in broken english! Terrible SCAM! BAD BUSINESS!

I bought this dress. It arrived in a timely fashion. But that is all I can say positive about this dress. It is horrible. Nothing like it appears in the picture. Talk about being disappointed. One sleeve goes to my wrist. One to my elbow. The mesh is not natural looking at all. It does not fall like a mermaid fit at all but more like an a line... it looks like a tent! It is VERY heavy.
Then when I requested to return it and be refunded, they sent me a horrible email, calling me names and threatening me. Then requested that I ignore the first email. I have asked them repeatedly to give me instructions on how to return the dress and to return my money. I waited a week before posting this hoping to have this matter dealt with in a professional way. They keep asking for a picture of me in it so they can fix it. There is no fixing this dress. A mother of the groom's worst nightmare.

Do not trust this website, the pictures they show are not the dresses you receive, they are low quality and cheaply made, the website claims they offer full refunds but the owner is refusing a refund or working with us in anyway. I would stay away from this website and not order anything from them!

I ordered a dress and sent them custom measurements. The dress is good quality and fits me perfectly. I will proudly wear it to my daughter's wedding.

The dress came with the slit on the wrong side. Paid extra for a custom fit and it definitely needs alterations. Also told there would be ample seam allowance, which there isn't. The dress is picky and the built in bra is not form fitting. The burgundy color is quite dull looking also. Just not a pretty dress, nor does it fit.

I bought a lilac dress from this company and when I received it, as soon as I opened the bag, it smelled really, really bad like it was fabricated in a fish market. I am telling you, it smells like the fabric was made out of fish, it stinks! It does not fit me very well either, too tight at the bottom and too loose on the top. It looks ridiculous on me! I cannot even resell or give this dress away because of the smell. I have asked them a 4 occasions to refund me my money but they have flatly refused. I suggest anyone thinking of buying from this company, to buy from somewhere else. They are frauds and there fabric stinks. On their policy of their site, they say that they would refund if you do not like the dress or does not fit. They do not live up to their policy at all. Please do yourselves a favor and never ever buy from this fraud company.

Bought dress thinking I could return it because it says you can return dress if you don't like the style but when I tried to return they said sorry don't take returns had I known this I would not have ordered from them. The site should tell the truth about their return policy

I received a dress from Glamgown that was NOTHING like the dress I ordered. They are a total scam company. The dress was horrible, ugly, and no one could fit the ridiculous bra they put in the dress. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! The owners do not refund any money at all either. DISHONEST PEOPLE!

They turned out! Until we got one that they forgot to add hip measurements... no hips no zip! No fit! They wont remake their mistake! Garbage Garbage! GARBAGE!

Do not be fooled by the American/Canadian look of their website. These dresses are made in Hong Kong and are a complete scam. My friend recently ordered a wedding dress using their sizing guide, only for it to come in about 3 sizes too big and looking nothing like the picture on the website. The dress is listed as a "beach dress" but has about 5 layers of heavy lace material. Their exchange policy states "If the sizing doesnt quite fit you, we can reimburse you the cost for a local tailor alteration. Or we can refund or remake." THIS IS NOT TRUE. She contacted them several times, including pictures of how big the dress was on her only to get a response stating "our professional tailor checked the dress carefully and it showed no problems. The dress is nice on you and we can not find problems. Please keep it." Anyone with eyes can CLEARLY see this dress is way too big for her. A local seamstress was shocked by how poorly constructed this dress was, and now has to completely rip it apart to remake it the right way. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM!

I ordered a wedding dress with custom measurements. When I received the dress (6 weeks before my wedding) I was horrified to find out that it didn't fit me AT ALL! The section just below the hips was so tight I couldn't walk and the top was so small that the I couldn't even bring the dress together to close it. The dress was also much much longer than my measurements indicated it should be. I contacted glamgown right away (oddly enough they only have the option of contacting via email) and had several exchanges with a woman named Judy Li who kept asking me to send a picture of the dress (which I did), then proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't return the dress because the shipping would cost me too much and the dress was useless to them anyway. It was useless to me too! Then when I pointed out the website return policy which specifically states that if the dress doesn't fit they will refund you, Judy had the nerve to tell me... and these are her exact words..."we can not stand the full amount, it means kill us, we made the dress according to your needs in As you know, when we made your
Dress it cost much material fee, manpower cost and other fees." She then offered to refund me $4! Glamgown is a scam! Fraud! Word to the wise... if it comes from CHINA... DO NOT BUY!

Purchased customized prom dress for my Daughter. I emailed several times, always received a response. I asked for photos before the dress was shipped and Judy Li took two photos while on her break, which I appreciated. The dress was received in less then a week with shipping notifications. The dress looks exactly like the photo. She tried dresses on in a shop which were $700+. This dress was $329 CAD. The difference is less material is used for the bottom of the dress. Satin and one layer of tulle. They give you a petticoat which expands the dress. For one night the dress is perfect. I think the dress will be lighter and easier to move in with less layers of fabric when she is dancing. The bodice needs a little tidying up ie. Loose threads. My Daughter loves the dress and the dress fits her perfectly! I would recommend this company for Prom Dresses.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ORDER from this website, EVER! We ordered what appeared (on the website) to be the most gorgeous prom dress for our daughter, what we received was something that looked like a 6 year old had made it, absolutely nothing like the advertised item.
We paid $292 for a dress I would be hard pressed to wear even as a Halloween costume and after countless emails to this fraudulent company requesting a refund, they have offered us a $9 refund. This company promises delivery of the dresses they advertise on their site, but they knowlingly and willingly defraud you by sending you a piece of garbage and keep your money. PLEASE do yourself a favour and save yourself the financial and emotional heartbreak and disappointment you will endure by ordering from them! They do not have a phone number, only an email, *******@yahoo.com, the person who responds to all emails is Judy Li.
I wish I could add pictures of the advertised dress and the dress we received, then you would better understand just how dishonest this fraudulent scam of a company is.
PLEASE DO NOT give these scammers your hard earned money!

Ordered on Sept 17 2017, received on Oct 10th 2017, the dress was made to fit and shipped in good time, good quality and price. Would highly recommend this company. Happy Customer
