I tend to read reviews after I make a purchase, so I was concerned when I read so many negative reviews. I'm happy to say, all went just fine. Company took money out of my acct. Immediately. Card arrived in 8 days. Card was exactly what I ordered- nice picture, personalized with name and greeting. No need to activate because not used for online purchases. Pin is last 4 digits on the card, so had no problems using the card. Card was used at beauty salon and grocery stores with no problem. This was an easy personalized useful gift for my daughter.

I purchased a Christmas gift from them and only the expedited $30 shipping option guaranteed my gift to arrive before Christmas so I paid it. Well, my gift didn't arrive before Christmas and when I reached out to customer service they said "sorry your shipment was delayed - that happens sometimes" and refused to refund my expedited shipping. I will never buy from them again.

I purchased a Christmas gift from them and only the expedited $30 shipping option guaranteed my gift to arrive before Christmas so I paid it. Well, my gift didn't arrive before Christmas and when I reached out to customer service they said "sorry your shipment was delayed - that happens sometimes" and refused to refund my expedited shipping. I will never buy from them again.

I am still waiting for my item I ordered in mid January. I paid extra for shipping. The site doesn't mention that items ship from China. This was a gift I ordered for someone, had to buy a replacement gift cause it was never received at all let alone in time! Very frustrating, ZERO customer service. When emailing them, all they reply many days later is that the item is shipped and they repeat the track number. I have yet to receive something I paid for a month ago, which is of no use to me anymore. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT order anything from them, I definitely learned my lesson

I lost a card. Found it a couple years later, but they applied their activation/inactivity fee (redundant much?). So I lost 50$. I don't know any other companies that have a policy that punishes you for saving money. Customer service was useless, talked to the supervisor as well. They said I basically just lost 50$ for no reason. If you need a Visa gift card, GO ELSEWHERE. Sidenote, (and less important since the card NEVER WORKED,) most of the printing peeled off, so the physical cards don't present well.

Paid $55 for "expedited" delivery to get a card sent overnight. Waited 5 business days before the funds were charged against my account. Obviously I cancelled an order which will take approximately 3 weeks to process. I'll let my bank lawyers work it out with them and I'll have my money back in 2 days. Go to Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. to get a Visa card and save yourself the hassle from working with a shoddy overseas company like this.

Ordered 2 giftcards for my daughters on 12/24/16. As of 1/17 the giftcards never arrived. They stated they could not cancel and send new cards, all they could do is issue a refund. And that will take 15 days of review before they do it.
Of course my card was charged right away when they "shipped". We'll see if I get my refund...
I wish I had seen everyone's reviews before I purchased from this company. Totally disappointed.: 0(

Tried to send my son an egift card twice tonight. Was told the first time it did not go through so I should try again. I see my bank was charged two charges and when I call them they say my USAA VISA CARD is apparently incompatible for payment, HOWEVER that did not stop these scammers from withdrawing $100 from my account!

I spent 30 minutes ordering two gift cards. I was excited to send as the product looked cute. Like other user, my order was cancelled, reason stated Risk Management had not reviewed order. Weird. I got no response from customer service via email. Suspecting the site might be saving my payment information as a scam, I tried to login but was denied. I requested new password and was still unable to login. Customer service still unresponsive. DO NOT USE this company!

Tried my first transaction with Gift Card Lab. Purchased a $500 pre-designed off-the-shelf card, nothing special for a gift to someone. They charged my credit card for the $500 plus $5.95 fee. I received an email saying the order "was being reviewed." Later that day got an email saying the order had been cancelled and my credit card would be refunded WITHIN 10 DAYS. I called them and they would only tell me that the order "didn't pass screening inspection," which meant nothing to me. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor to get a more clear answer, the attendant said "you won't get a more clear answer as that is all we can say." Transfer anyway, on hold for 20 minutes so I hung up. NEVER AGAIN. If you don't want my $500, then I simply go somewhere else. Hope you go out of business! The other downfall is that three of the major online gift card sellers (Gift Card Lab, Gift Card Mall, Giftcards.com) are all owned by Blackhawk Network. Beware!

It was fine in the beginning until they told me days after I bought the gift card that the greeting card couldn't contain anything religious which I thought was strange because it was a CHRISTmas card! I had a bible in my greeting card message. So I updated my order to have them to send the card blank to my house instead of my sister and I would write my own message and give it to her in person. It was originally getting FREE shipping but when I changed my shipping address, all of a sudden my shipping changed to $12.95! I emailed them and thought I had gotten my shipping switched back to the free option because the guy I emailed said that he put in a request to have it changed back. Well I get a shipping confirmation email and my shipping is still $12.95 and that is what came out of my checking account. I'm done with these people. All I wanted was a gift card for my sister with her picture on it. GiftCardLab needs some serious improvements with its customer service if it expects to keep customers. And during all of this, I try to apologize for being difficult through this whole ordeal and I didn't get one "it's okay," "I understand," or "don't worry about it, these things happen." I felt like they really didn't care about me.

I purchased a gift card in October of 2017. After 2 mos., I have not received a card or a refund. Customer service is horrific. They barely speak English, and are quick to say they'll help you. Nonsense. My next step is taking them to Small Claims Court. This was a gift card for one of my biggest clients, and all I have to show for it is embarassment.

I am not sure what has happened in the last 2 years - but the customer service and follow up is awful. I actually had 11 emails regarding my order - which delayed the process and forced me to cancel the order.

I have given my grandkids these personalized gift cards for several years - for some reason there are all new rules regarding what you can say - example "$$$ for Maui" unacceptable! Picture of 8 yr old in bathing suit considered partial nudity!

And every customer service rep can not do anything for you... why do they bother to answer the phone!

Ordered a gift card for $80 10 days later has still not arrived. Customer service was PITIFUL. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Had a terrible experience trying to order four Xmas gift cards for my family. My order was randomly cancelled after 24 hours. I spent over 45 minutes on three phone calls to find out why it was cancelled and which of the four gift cards were cancelled. None of the customer service reps could tell me why it was cancelled and gave "best guesses" as to why it was. Who has time to sit waiting on a phone and deal with super incompetent people that don't care about your order? I would find another site to order from.

I ordered two cards. Never received either. Waiting on my refund. I tried to reorder but they declined my card while my credit card company says the payment went through. HORRIBLE customer service. I will never use them again. www.giftcards.com is much better.

THE worst customer service ever. Mailing time (paying extra for FIRST CLASS MAIL) is 7 to 15 days? 15 days from Texas to Florida? Is it walking? I suspect this is nothing more than a PO box in Texas and these are manufactured for pennies in China and shipped to the US. Stay away. The product looks cute but the company is horrible.

Never heard of a company that didn't accept a billing address for a credit card with a PO Box! First I tried our phys. Address and that didn't work (I didn't think it would but it was a longshot) then I slightly chged it to 317 Box vs. PO Box 317 and it was accepted and I received a confirmation and invoice number. Then the next day, a letter of cancellation of order due to security issues. UNBELIEVABLE!

I ordered my G-daughter a visa gift card for her birthday, I haven't received one email about the card. I have made 3 phone calls, b/c that's the only way you can get in touch with them. I've spoken to 3 different people, gotten 3 different excuses! NOW, they tell me, the card has been made, and my credit card has for sure been charged, but, it will be at least 15 days before she can get the card! REALLY! WHY?! Seems like, all ya gotta do is drop the card in the mail! Takes 3 days by USPS... And that's the way they're mailing it, why is it taking 15 days? A carrier pigeon could get it there faster than that. My advice is, stay away from this company! Customer service, zero stars, Lesson learned!

I purchase two (2) Visa gift cards and had them sent to my son and daughter as Christmas gifts. Neither card works! I have asked for a total refund but have gotten no response as yet. I have waited on hold for over 30 minutes on a couple of occasions. I used this company last Christmas without any problems but not this year! I just want my money back...

Placed an order, called them to answer all their verification questions, then order was summarily denied without explanation. Don't do business with this company. That is, if they even let you.

Cancelled my gift card twice (even though it was to all of their specifications) and since they took their time cancelling it I missed my nephews birthday. I bought another one from giftcards.com and it went straight through.

They made the mistake on my order yet they won't fix it or guarantee expedited shipping or even expedited processing to correct THEIR mistake. Use other sites! Do not use them

I tried to order a custom gift card for a wedding with rush shipping. The site pointed out the image had a photographer's signature mark and they would not use the image. I obtained written permission from said photographer to use the image, yet they still did not agree to process the order and I had to cancel due to too much time passing.

I ordered an e-card to be delivered on Monday to be delivered to the recipient's email on Tuesday, as her last working day (and last day for her active email address) would be Wednesday. I received and email from GiftCardLab saying they had placed my order on hold and I had to call them before they would release it. I called--very long wait with very annoying music and computer-generated voice--and went through verification of my information (which was on the original order...). Then I was told that the card would be generated and sent out in 24 to 48 hours. I hung up, thought about it, and called back to check on the status of my order. Same annoyance. Customer service rep did not seem very savvy in pulling up my order nor did he realize it was an e-card. I told him if he could not guarantee delivery so that the recipient was assured of receiving it--and he could not--to cancel the order. He said he would submit it for CONSIDERATION of cancellation. CONSIDERATION? I have purchased e-cards from companies and had the e-card delivered within minutes of ordering. Obviously this is a company to avoid!

I wanted to send my grand daughter $200 for school clothes! I thought it might be faster sending it via an order through the web instead of going to the grocery store to buy a gift card! Was I wrong. First I was notified that they do not direct ship $200 cards--it had to come to me directly and then I had to send it to my granddaughter. Then I was told that they would not produce the card because I told her to use the money for school clothes, another delay, I had to remove the purpose of the card. Then I am told that it was not put into production until 5 days after it was ordered and that production could take 2-4 days. After that they will mail it to me and I have to then mail it to my grand daughter! She probably will not get it until three weeks after it was ordered. If I wasn't lazy and had gone to the grocery store--she would have already!
