If I can rate it a zero I would!
July 30, 2021

Since there are only five stars available and the lowest rating is a one star, I give this "company" a one star. The rating for this company should be a big fat ZERO. On July 29,2021, I learned that the mother of a colleague passed away on the 28th. I searched only for same day delivery for flowers, and the more reputable flower delivery companies were not available to deliver same day on the zip code of the funeral home. I clicked on GiftBlooms because it looked legit. I know it was my fault that I did not take time to look at its feedback. I ordered and paid right away. After a few minutes, I received an email that the flower bouquet I ordered was not available for that area, but I was given another alternative. I replied to that email stating that it's fine to deliver the suggested alternative. The following day, Friday, July 29,2021, I received an email saying that the flowers would be delivered and the "company" even provided a tracking same as those you get from USPS, UPS, FedEx, or Amazon. You have to create an account with this bogus company for you to see the tracking. Then, at around 8 PM of the same day, I checked to see if the flowers were delivered to the funeral home. When I logged in to my account, it just said that the flowers have been ordered and they were preparing to ship. In other words, the flowers were never delivered. So I searched for a customer service 1-800 number but this bogus company does not have any but a "live" chat. The bot assigned that night was named "Heather." The bot asked me for the order number which I readily provided. It took "Heather" 15 minutes to find out what happened to my order. I knew right then that I have been scammed. While waiting for "Heather," I googled GiftBlooms and found out that it is a scammer. I told "Heather" that I will request a stop payment with my bank account and tell my bank that this "company" is a scam artist. "Heather" then told me that the florist has a shortage of flowers but they will be able to deliver next Tuesday which is August 3. I told "Heather" to just forget it because the mother of my colleague will be buried on July 31st. So, if you are looking for same day delivery or just sending flowers to a loved one and you are using online services, beware of this "company." I have a suspicion that this bogus company collects personal information. But I am smarter than you, GiftBlooms. You might have scammed me, but I will never allow you to steal my personal information. I will report you to BBB.

The most dreadful, disappointing online experience ever!
June 28, 2021

As an 80 year old lady in the UK I got my Grandson's help to order a birthday gift for my daughter in Cyprus. I ordered a luxury cake, orchid and gift card weeks before her birthday and requested delivery on her special day. Giftblooms took £120 for this order. The first problem occurred when they emailed my Grandson to say my daughter's address was not known (she has lived there for years and received many gifts from family and friends without difficulty). We were asked to provide an alternative and we supplied her mailbox service address but learned this was also "not recognised". As a result of their inability to locate either address I lost confidence in the service and naturally requested the order be cancelled and full refund made to my Visa card. This cancellation was made the week before my daughter's birthday. I had a live chat (with Grandson's help) online to make the cancellation. We kept the official Giftblooms transcript. I was told the full refund may take 5-7 working days to process. I arranged alternative online gifts with another company who delivered to my daughter's home on her actual birthday. Four days after my daughter's birthday she's received a telephone call one evening from a delivery company asking for directions to her home. These were given and 5 minutes later a fruit cake was delivered (later found to be advertised on the website for €25). There was no card or orchid. My daughter made her own enquiries and eventually learned a card should have been delivered which sent love to her on her birthday from me and her Dad. This cake was far inferior in content, size and price to the one originally ordered, arrived 4 days after her birthday and from an agreed cancelled order which was supposed to be fully refunded. I wrongly assumed this was perhaps some gesture of goodwill because of the negative experience up to that point. The following day, without explanation or any contact, I found that £70 had been refunded to my Visa card by Giftblooms. Several live chats with subsequent transcripts being kept by me followed where I pointed out all of these circumstances. Most staff were polite in their tone apart from one rude, abrasive and unsympathetic person, identifying as 'Heather' on the live chats. I was always courteous and simply wanted the full refund promised to be honoured. I was repeatedly told a cake had been delivered and partial refund made so the natter was closed. I was told that delivery dates could never be promised and that 'delivery partners' were responsible for the quality of the product. Nobody seemed to understand the order had been cancelled and a full refund promised. An inferior cake sent 4 days after a birthday was useless and an unwanted delivery. I tried desperately to find an email address to elevate my complaint from the live chat service but nobody would supply this. I did email *******@giftblooms.com but never received any acknowledgment. This was the worst online experience I have had, compounded by dreadful customer relations by staff operating a live chat service. To be charged £50 for a €25 unwanted, inferior and cancelled cake delivered from a base 5 minutes from my daughter's house is outrageous. Nobody willing to see sense. Dreadful company and I wish I'd read the reviews where many have had similar bad experiences.

Tip for consumers:

Read previous reviews and don't risk using this company!
