My dad has a Genworth policy and they have always been accommodating in my claim experience. There are things that can be done better sure, but over all please with the experience. One tip avoid Mondays as it is their busiest day or Tuesdays after a Holiday because then it is even more congested.

I submit claims on a weekly basis to all of our long-term care insurance companies. Genworth has made multiple errors and each time They underpaid us it takes them an additional 10 days to process the money that was originally owed to us. I finally got so frustrated that I asked to file a grievance and was told that the "president" of Genworth would be contacting me that was over a week ago. I would never recommend Genworth to anyone they are a disgrace to long-term care insurance

I wanted to get Genworth Long Term Care insurance. They are a big reputable insurance company so I thought, "sure why not". But it turns out long term care insurance is now so expensive that I can't imagine why anyone would choose to purchase it instead of just self-insuring. Genworth, do you really think it's worth my money to buy this from you? It was literally thousands and thousands of dollars. I'd strongly consider other options before purchasing long term care insurance from Genworth.
