I have ordered few items from Gearbest, the latest being a Mi Band 2. The product itself is very good, as advertised, and arrived well packaged. In general Gearbest is better value for money than most other sites. The delivery usually takes 2-3 weeks, although this is slower than I would like but it is within the advertised timescales and it is free. I haven't tried the paid faster delivery option. Based on my dealing so far with GearBest, I do recommend the website.

I ordered items from gearbest in the past several years ago and did receive them but more recently they just offered items and never delivered and wouldn't return messages and never refunded me the money or sent the items

I ordered items from gearbest in the past several years ago and did receive them but more recently they just offered items and never delivered and wouldn't return messages and never refunded me the money or sent the items

Avoid Gearbest at all costs - you may not receive items you order. And when that happens, Gearbest customer support does nothing to help. Their claims about money back guarantee or exceptional customer service are completely false. It is a very unreliable company - avoid avoid avoid.

I have asked for refund 20 times already and still have not received it. It is just a waste of my time.

I will be suing Gearbest on order I have not received.

Bought POCO mobile phone from them-after 2 months main camera stuck on the 50 cm focus- sent back to them, after a month they say it is not repairable and cannot send replacement as "a problem with stock" (the same model is still available from them). Asked for replacement for similar value - they have a tactics of offering some pennies to the virtual wallet (to make order from them). I demanded full return of working phone, they still insist on offering some pennies into the wallet. The customer service communicates with broken English, makes empty promises and use avoidance tactics to not either repair product (they use external suppliers anyway) so they do not have any responsibility what they sell. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Tip for consumers:
Warranty doesn't exist - they use tactics to avoid responsibility for sold products.

If they are serious as a business, they should get a phone line and don't transfer responsibility to a remote store that supposedly fulfilled the order. It is a Gearbest problem and customers will not forget that point. Hearing that it is being transferred to store does not solve or resolve a problem. You see from their tracking information that the item was transferred to a USPS Facility and was never shipped out, if you can believe that! However the item was paid for and Gearbest should offer either a replacement or give the customer a refund! BEWARE, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEB SITE!

This is the worst service I've ever paid for. It's actually a scam, basically. I ordered Xiaomi Airdots 3 months ago. Still waiting for them.

Gearbests doesn't answer to any of my messages. They'll reply to this bad review saying that they sent me a tracking number. This tracking number clearly says that my order has been returned to China, without any attempt of delivery.

I strongly advice you to stay away from this website.

Ordered an item for a Black Friday sale. Okay, fine, I know that it's hard to keep stock on Black Friday. It is now January 10, a full SIX WEEKS after Black Friday, and they still have not shipped the item. First they gave December 30 as the ship date, then they moved it to January 10. I checked today, and now it says January 18. Why bother taking my money if you have no idea when you'll actually have something to sell me? Never buying from them again, no matter how great the "deal" might be.
EDIT: Guess what? I checked again on January 18th, and they updated my shipping date to February 1st! I contacted PayPal and got my money back. AVOID GEARBEST LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Thieves. I paid for a phone for my son's Birthday gift that was never shipped to me, never refunded and never received notice that it was out of stock upon ordering. When I contacted customer service 2 weeks after placing the order and it not being received I had no response then after threatening to send matter to my lawyer they offered to send a different item but told me it was my responsibility to follow up on orders and I had to fight to get tracking and order information on the second order!

The Gearbest online tracking system stated the order didn't exist, but the phone cases on the same order somehow arrived without the phone.

When I told the rep Gearbest screwed up (after sending him clear documentation proving so) he denied any mistake being made and debated the issue with me.

I have never seen an error handled with such carelessness and disregard for brand trust.

Gearbest took payment, but did not send my phone, did not refund, did not voluntarily follow up on my order, and if not for stating I'd seek legal intervention on the order error it points that Gearbest would have kept my money without fulfilling their obligation.
That is indeed theft and nothing less than poor ethical business practices.

Ordered a mini camera from them. Took my money and did not ship for three weeks. When I contacted them after
Three weeks, and asked for a refund, they told me the item shipped and would reach me in another three weeks.
They are refusing to refund.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CHEATS. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND CHEAT YOU.

I have purchased robotic vacuum few months ago. It stopped working after just few weeks after delivery. The wheel broke, stopped turning. Waited for replacement for almost 2 months. After I received and replace the part it worked for another 3 weeks and another wheel broke. Contacted support and after they kept telling 'please wait patiently' because shipment takes 10-25 days, they said the part is not available and offered 30 dollars payoff. The vacuum cost 300 and only worked for few weeks in half year. Never buying anything from this place again.

I bought a Xiaomi mi 8 from gearbest just over 11 months ago, the phone is having a catastrophic failure and cannot be used at all (it is a paper weight at the moment). The phone has a free warranty repair for 1 year but after sending through information and photos of the problem i had with the phone I was told the phone cannot be fixed and I can keep the phone and they will send through a partial refund of $100 USD when I bought the phone new for $465 USD.

I told them that if this phone was repaired for free I could sell it for at least $300 USD second hand, so by them not repairing it i'm losing a lot of money for a phone I've used less than 10 months before the failure.
They do not want to repair the phone and saying they cant do anything about it.

They have recently offered $150 USD but like i said to them this is still far from the price I could sell it second hand if they had it repaired as it is still under warranty.

Ma paire d'écouteur a pris 3 mois à arriver et quand le produit est arrivé, j'était extremement décu... les écouteurs étaient beaucoup trop gros tellement qu'il ne rentraient pas dans mes oreilles et l'écouteur droit de fonctionnait pas... J'ai demandé qu'il m'en renvoit un autre et après pleins de messages, ils m'en ont renvoyé une autre paire qui ne fonctionnait pas encore...

Fuyez cette compagnie, je conclue que tout leurs produits sont de très mauvaise qualité...

Paid for DHL delivery and they split my order shipping one item by second rate company but still charged me DHL price. Follow up was less than satisfying. Will never buy from them again. Still haven't received my item and it was shipped 10 days before the one I received from DHL.

Ok after they found out I had written a few reviews they refunded me the entire shipping cost and the price of the item that was never delivered. I think getting PayPal involved help. Would I do business with this Company again, NO!

Unacceptable waiting time, customer service is horrible!
2 months, and I'm still waiting for my order. It took them 18 days to dispatch the item, which they never told me. Today was the first time, I was actually able to talk to someone, previously they didn't give me a straight answers or they ignored me. Still, the person on the phone could not give me a valid reason for the delay. They talk about 30-35 business days as estimated time for delivery, which is still overdue today! They don't offer any compensations for their horrid service, this is an absolute joke!

UPDATE: 12th of March, STILL WAITING! They don't allow me to cancel the order either!

Sold me a Asus ROG 2 phone with a warranty that is local to China only. Asus refused to help and asked me to contact Gearbest who refused to help also but said they will issue a partial refund of $120 (£88 UK) - but refused to refund it back to my PayPal and instead issued it to their app wallet!. Contacted PayPal and Gearbest asked me to trust them and cancel the dispute and they will refund to my PayPal, which I agreed to. Surprise, they won't refund back to Paypal! And now I am stuck with a store credit to a scam website and paying £248 for screen repair! Unable to raise with PayPal again hense the haha get lost attitude. Dishonest and so disingenuous with their fake overly nice condescending English. Do not use for larger purchases. Suitable for buying cheaper bulk items like face masks! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Tip for consumers:
Products are sold with local warranties meaning any issues and you will have to send the product back to China at YOUR cost. Always pay with PayPal and never cancel the dispute despite Gearbest asking you to trust them! If they agree to a refund they will issue you with a store credit and not to your PayPal or bank. Also note, the store credit they issue cannot be used in a whole purchase. You will only be able to use 33% of it at a time. Also some of the most condescending overly nice English.

I ordered 2 gadgets and after 30 days only 1 of them was delivered. So I decided to wait another 30 days hoping it will arrive too, but it never came. I complained to gearbest, they told me it's not their fault, shipping company probably lost it, and I can buy a replacement with 50% discount!

Also few months ago I bought a phone on a flash sale which was in stock at the time, but had to wait for it for 50 days! By the time I was waiting a new model came out.

Very disappointed with gearbest, not going back to them ever again.

In the past they was good but in the last order they got the tax on the prices like usual but the delivered was stopped on the border because the devices are wrong declared and gearbest refuse to pay the tax back that they charged so they scam now

THE GOOD NEWS: After more than 30 days of back and forth messaging with Gearbest (GB) I finally received a refund for 30 KN-95 masks from a total of 110 actually ordered.
THE BAD NEWS: GB tried to make me deal with a sub seller of theirs named NICHE. The Customer Care and that might be an oxymoron, of NICHE sent me numerous messages which were in no way relevant to my missing masks. They sent numerous requests for photos of the packaging and individual masks which I luckily had. I am convinced they were playing a delay game in hopes I would, out of frustration, give up. I finally told (GB) that they were the seller I ordered from directly and they had to take responsibility for the missing masks, not some company (NICHE) I never heard of when I placed the order. GB finally started communicating with me. Their messaging was slightly better than NICHE but they too seemed to be playing the delay game in hopes I would not meet the PayPal (PP) deadline.
This became very frustrating when after NICHE and GB messaged me separately, they would send me a refund but not until I closed the case with PayPal. My only leverage with them was my PayPal Case. Due to PP timing rules I had an upcoming deadline and so I closed the CASE. Within 2 days I was notified the refund was on its way from GB via PayPal to me.
Conclusion: The total refund was for around $38. The masks I did receive were of good quality. Why, you might ask, did I spend so much of my time with all of the back of over a month period over $38. I am 81 years old and retired. I am stuck in the house what with the Covid-19 thing.
Lessons learned: Make sure you take comprehensive photos of received items and packaging thereof. NICHE did complete the delivery. The problem was that they were totally wrong as to the number of masks in the individual smaller packages. Seemingly easy to communicate, but they made it infinitely more difficult.
MORE GOOD NEWS: The K-95 masks seem to work in regards to the horrible air quality caused be the California fires.
POSSIBLE BAD NEWS: Gearbest, Niche and PP may refuse to ever deal with me again. OR IS THAT GOOD NEWS.

Bought Dash Cam on Amazon. Needed product support. Amazon referred me gearbest.com. Gearbest.com does not provide an option to request support if you buy from Amazon. I gave them a bad review. They replied, go to our web site. There product support is mindless. They are a poster child for buy locally.

Very bad experience! I ordered an e-bike from them. They took money from my credit card straight away, but they made me wait for nearly a month before asking me to cancel the order. Customer service is the worst I've ever seen in my life: English quite unintelligible and a lot of excuses just to take time. Finally, they took further time to give my money back. I willl keep away from them for life!

The site is absolute unprofessional.! They send defective product, they deny to refund (ok, they partial refund me after 35 days and 20 emails.!). They didn't send the order and they suggest to buy another product and the shopper will pay the price difference.!

In my last order, over than 10 days has passed and still they DENY sending the item which is available.! Worst e-shop and unprofessional behavior ever.!

ScammerGearbest.com is a 100% scam side
I have used this place 2 times now and it won't happen again,,

My last order was a Ovonic 2S Lipo Battery 7.4V 50C 8000mAh Hard Case from Emate Store Gearbest. That will be shipped from germany and my order was 1 battery so I could look at it and test it and if it was worth the money then i was going to make a new order to get the last 5 batteries. But a few days later they tell me its not on stuck and i need to cancel the order to get my money back. But i cant do that because the system say its shipped out but its not so i cant cancel the order and get my money back and if you use the live chat then they will tell you to talk to the seller and the seller will tell you to talk to the live chat or call them. And the only thing the live chat can tell you is this crap

Unfortunately since the **************983 status is 'shipped out', we are unable to cancel it for you now.

Instead of the ordered smart box (Order no. **************875), I was supplied with a USB extension ordered from Spain. I found this out when I peeled off the declaration from a small package that couldn't even fit my ordered device and determined that below it was a declaration intended for a package ordered from Spain. On my complaint (with videos and pictures as evidence), the seller "Smartselect audio store" told me that I was lying and then he didn't want to answer my emails anymore. Gearbest does not try to solve the problem, but constantly refers to the seller who does not respond, and so the buyer remains completely unprotected. I do not recommend shopping at Gearbest! I've lost my money!

They are currently running an ad saying they have US stock of N90 masks. That is a lie. I tried ordering some that were supposed to be in US stock and it still says 25 days until delivery. I tried ordering an electronic item last year and received a small empty envelope from China weeks later. They claimed the item had been delivered. Despite what the email says, there is no tracking information available. On their website it shows the order but states no tracking information will be available.

I placed an order and I decided to cancel within min after. However, I couldn't login after so I then tried to reach them through the Live chat. I gave them the order # then received a message saying my order also shipped and I can't cancel. Then shortly after I received a message saying "my order will be canceled within 24h. You will receive a confirmation email...". I waited for 3 days and didn't received any confirmed email or anything. Also, notes they already withdrew my money. I tried to contact them again and I got is my order already shipped and I have to contact the seller for further information. So becareful if you don't want to loose your money. This Site is a BIG SCAMER.
