I've always loved this store & their products. They have very good quality clothing for all ages. My mom would buy stuff for us every year when I was little. I have great memories opening Gap gift boxes with my brother around the Christmas tree & fireplace. Their prices aren't low, but they're worth it because they'l last long time due to the great quality. And you can always take advantage of sales/deals via email sign up.

I have been buying from Gap the last ten years and for the first time never received my order over 100 dollars. I called and they do not offer refunds for an item that never arrived. We also have a camera on the house and the mailman never came the day it said it arrived. Had to get the bank involved to file a claim. Disappointed in this service.

I was very surprised to receive counterfeit products of extremely low quality from the official Gap UAE website. The materials were low quality, with a jogger pant displaying conflicting "made in Vietnam" and "made in China" labels. Despite claiming 100% cotton, the tags revealed 77% and 60% cotton in the respective pants. This discrepancy occurred with both of the jogger pants I purchased.

I previously purchased a jogger pant at a Gap store, providing evidence that the materials are not identical.

If you're looking for organic products, don't buy from GAP. Tags do not say 100% organic cotton and they are not certified GOTS. It is also super weird that all of the other reviews on this official GAP FB page are for an investment/trading gig.

I did shopping for more than 700 dollars per year. Before we could have some rewards. Now I only get emails asking I have 20 or 30 dollars rewards. But its a big lie. For whole year I did not receive any cent.

I got two pairs of dress pants for $80 ea and the side seam on one of the pockets ripped within a week causing my butt to be visible at work. The second pair faded within a month and no longer fits around my waist/torso area. They also don't offer returns if the product has been worn. The material is poor and it's frustrating when you spend your money looking for quality and you end up with the same stuff you get at Walmart.

I placed an order from Gap on Black Friday. When I received the box there was only 2 items out of the 12 that I ordered As well as two pj onesies from Old Navy which obviously I didn't order from Gap. I called multiple times and finally after the 4th time they said they can't refund my money until I returned those two items. I tried to return them in person and they wouldn't return them and give me a refund for the items I never received. This is absolutely horrible.

Never shop here!

Love Gap and there is not a store near us. Tried ordering on lone - what a $#*!ty experience. Only 1/2 order came in package and customer service was no help. Only option was waiting 3-5 business days for something I bought last week, and then reordering it and waiting to see if this time they actually sent it! Feels like I got stolen from. Don't use their on-line mail service because they are a mess. Customer service hung up before I was done. Ugh. What a nightmare of a company!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t order on-line. Shop elsewhere if there isn’t a brick and mortar store nearby.

I will never purchase anything from this store again. I purchased online and by the time I received it tried it on and figured out how to do a return. It was too late to return so now I'm stuck with clothing that has zero value to me and I can't even get a refund. When I tried to call their customer service I got stuck with someone who didn't even speak English and hung up on me. Horrible experience.

Tip for consumers:
She was very rude and unprofessional. Hung up on me in the middle of our conversation. Will NEVER do business with GAP again.

I purchased a gift card online October 31,2022. They credited my account for $100 on November 1,2022. I have yet to receive the gift card. I have called customer service everyday for 4 days in a row and could not get one person to help me that could speak English or anyone in the USA. I kept getting the run around and still DO NOT have my gift card or my refund. I have been a GAP shopper most of my life and will NEVER shop there again.

Just return two new items, ran two remote different locations. One is outlet store and cannot receive return. Several days later went retail store and refuse due to over return day and told me the online shop has 60 days. Call online department, being told change back to 30days for return. Ask to talk with manager and no explain to me that the manager is not available and ask me to call tomorrow. Only 20 dollar items, my gasoline and time cost is already over the $20. Not about money, Just DO NOT like Gap's customer service.

They may have some cute stuff but if you need to return anything, good luck. It's been 3 weeks and 3 phone calls later and they are still "looking into it". I was told 7 days for a credit.

I have been shopping at Gap for years. There is no longer a store in my city so I am forced to order online. I bought a flannel shirt on 12/26 that was discounted 40%. I never saw that it was a final sale. Any final sale I've purchased is discounted a least 70%. The shirt is too small and when I called to get a return I was told it was a final sale and not eligible for return UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. So now I am out $58 for a shirt I can't wear. THIS IS A SCAM. I will never give Gap my business again.

I ordered 2 dress online and received my order not only late but both dress still have the store plastic security tags attached! I spent hours trying to remove it and hurt myself so I contact customer service and request a printed return label to send to so I can return it. They refuse and said company policy do not send out printed return label to customer. I already told them the nearest store to me will be hours for driving so I need to return it by mail but I don't have a printer to print, they still refuse to send me the return label and demand me to drive hours to the store to have the plastic security tags remove from store.
They are using overseas CS for online chat so they do not care how their customer felt and they don't care about return customer.

Gap sent me an email that I'd get 25% off jeans if I let them text me. I did and then the code only works on regularly priced items. I tried to call them and got sent to a sales call for a medical alert device and the woman on the other end wouldn't stop talking. I never could get through to a Gap representative to ask about the promotion. I've given up and unsubscribed, removing the 5 items I had in my cart. I can go somewhere else for jeans.

I tried to post a product review on GAP's website, but it seems GAP doesn't post negative reviews :( I am therefore writing this review here because I bought a set of 3 kids masks in the spring of 2021 for $3.99; these same masks are now $25. It seems GAP is taking advantage of children heading back to school during a fourth wave. This is especially deplorable given that children are at significant risk because they cannot yet be vaccinated. This is price gouging at its worst! I am disgusted with GAP.

I went to the store and fell in love with a bunch of dresses, but realized the prices were much better online. So I ordered online. Turns out I didn't like any of the dresses. Gap is the only store you can't return your online orders in the store. So I mailed them back, it's been 3 weeks and the packages have yet to make it to their facility. If returning in store I would have my refund back in a few days, not a few weeks. Never buying from the gap again. Hey Gap, it's not 1996 anymore, get with the times!

My order took 3 weeks to ship. First UPS to my local post office, and then from USPS to my residence. Tracking showed it arrived at my post office, but the local post office was unable to deliver: "addressee unknown" per tracking.
The confirmation email from Gap showed my correct name and address so, I don't understand how the label could have been misprinted.
USPS returned my package to Gap. I called Gap customer service and spoke with "Robert." There was a clear language barrier, and it took a long time for us to communicate effectively.
Finally, I was offered to either reorder or refund. I chose refund because I didn't know what caused the initial problem and didn't feel like gambling that day.
My total paid was $69.51. Robert tells me to hold. After a long while, I begin to get concerned that the call was dropped, but he eventually comes back on and says he processed the refund and I should see it in 3 to 5 business days. Great. Then he says the total refund is$62, ok?
No, Robert. That is not OK. I paid $69.51. After another lengthy discussion due to a language barrier, he finally agrees to refund shipping. After all, it was not my choice to have the package returned. It never made it out of the post office, and I had no control over that.
I received 2 emails, one for the cost of the products and another for the shipping, confirming a refund for both. The money has not made it to my account yet, but at least I have a virtual paper trail.
I tried to email Gap customer service to alert them to the aggravating scenario. They no longer accept emails. The auto response I received was that they no longer read/respond to emails and provided me the same customer service # that has the aggravating language barrier issue.
I was hoping that Gap would rebound post- covid. They haven't.

It's a gamble. Best of luck!

I didn't get my order because Gap made an error on the shipping label.

Picture shows (Left) Gap l and (right) normal size L Sizes are not to US standards. I have yet to buy a size that actually fits the size I'm ordering.

Tip for consumers:
Beware of The Gap. Their clothes are NOT true to size. The material on tops is so thin, it doesn't last very long. Pants/shorts are NOT true to size. Beware.

Products used:
I gave the top to a neighbors CHILD. It isn't worth the hassle of returning.

@gap Worst shopping experience EVER. I placed an order with Gap online Canada over 2 months ago. I paid for express shipping, it claims to ship items in a day or two. I have been waiting for my shipment and the order hasn't been delivered yet! It's over two months!

Worst brand!

I made a return on May 1st and May 5th the warehouse received my return. Since then I have been waiting for the value of $ 93.77 to be returned on my card and nothing happens. Already send several emails, I called and no one returns or answers the calls. It is a complete disregard for the consumer. Waiting for this to be resolved to cancel my account and card with GAP.

I ordered 5 pairs of underwear at the the Gap store, and a week later I get a notice that the pack of three are on back order? Then I received 1pair and the last pair have been stuck somewhere for weeks? I out of 5... what a joke!

Not the best customer services. I ordered a gift card and small purchases, paid for priority delivery so that the gift card would arrive on time, when after 2 days I checked the status, it turned out that the order was canceled with the reason - there is no thing, what kind of thing is not clear. I ordered the second time a gift card and socks in addition, this time I paid $ 25 for delivery so that the order would arrive the next day. When I received an email stating that it turns out that I can't buy a card, I went to the site and saw that not the entire order was canceled, but only the gift card, and I can no longer cancel the delivery of socks with priority delivery, because they are very fast Sent, because delivery is a priority! As a result, I will have socks worth $7 at a price of $32.

I made a purchase that still haven't arrived and it's been passed two weeks. I called they said they would ship it back out, they don't know why it's still processing. Ok that was fine. Until I found out the order won't be here til a week later. I ordered coats for my kids. It's freezing where I'm at and now they have no coats. Never experienced anything like this. I will never shop here again
