Poor quality cheap fabric clothing
I can only assume these people giving Gamiss good ratings are dealing with a different company. My gut should have told me that a company selling hoodies and other clothing at £2 to £10 would mean the quality of fabric would be poor.
My gut was right! Cheap poor low quality fabric, mine came with tears in various strategic areas like joins and where the hoodie string comes out, it appeared like these items had been worn previously by someone else, then Gamiss sent them to me. Don't they have quality control?. I bought 3 items, see photos.
Gamiss don't allow you to immediately send back faulty items, they want to 'evaluate' your claim first to see if they can get out of their responsibilities.
You the customer is responsible for shipping back to them (not exactly prettylittlething.com returns service where it is unquestionable free to return faulty goods). This means that i will be even more out of pocket. If you supply goods that look like they've been worn previously with tears in strategic places the buyer shouldn't be responsible for the cost of shipping back to the seller. End of.
You don't get all your money back too. Will never order anything from these Gamiss leeches again, and in future i will always check the returns policy of all sellers online before deciding if i should order, i would suggest others do the same.
Gamiss returns policy is configured to deliberately put off the customer from returning faulty items. I've added photos, highlighting the torn areas with my childs toy.
Based on my experience with them I find it hard to believe any favorable comments for men's clothing are genuine, because they use cheap fabrics. My items looked like they came from a charity shop (no disrespect to charity shops), poor quality, worn looking products.

I had my 2nd reply from Gamiss, be aware of their returns policy, you must send them photos of the fault/s so they can determine if indeed it's their fault, without that they won't give you the return address for where to send the items back to. Read in between the lines, they are circumventing my consumer rights. They know that by insisting on you sending them photos it will put most customers off. Who has time to go through all this hassle in 2018. Be prepared to jump through their hoops if you want to return anything.
I would suggest that if you buy anything from Gamiss be 100% sure you want to keep it as they will make returning the items very difficult. And even if you can return them it is at your cost.If they do offer you a refund (they press you to have a credit to your account) it will be with deductions.
The 3 products i received were poorly made in China, using low quality fabrics. The products look good quality when you see the online photos, but this is misleading. In reality, mine were a disappointment. You have been warned.

Update; I have the standard reply from Gamiss, but in reality they don't intend to do anything about their shoddy poor products they sent me.
I think they hope i will go away and everyone will forget about it.
I just want others to be aware of Gamiss returns policy which is against the consumer. Check their returns policy to make sure you 100% are prepared to keep their shoddy cheap products, before you part with your hard earned cash, as you are unlikely to get a refund back at all. They try to get reviews like mine removed, but i'm telling the truth, i'm sure others will too if they receive goods like what i received.
Update 2;
I received message from Gamiss, the standard BS. If you (Gamiss) provide your returns address (which you have been reluctant to do, so far) and will pay for the shipping, i am happy to send the poor quality items back to you on the basis that i will receive a full refund (not credit to buy something else from Gamiss), but i am not spending another penny which would mean throwing good money after bad. You (Gamiss) provided me with a sub standard product and should pay for any return shipment. I don't care what it says in your terms and conditions, this is common sense.
Update 3;
Gamiss have contacted sitejabber requesting that my review be removed as it's not genuine.
WOW! They now are denying i purchased from them. They have now locked me out of their site, but luckily i copied screenshots of the order docs which i've sent to sitejabber. The order No and Customer ref No RM ************** can be confusing, but both should lead to the customers account (in my humble opinion).
This is a genuine complaint i'm making, sitejabber now have all the relevant customer documentation and photos (both of which Gamiss have too) so as an impartial observer i would expect sitejabber to keep my review on the site as i don't believe i should be be responsible for re shipping their sub standard goods back to them as it involves me incurring additional costs, i've already lost out and don't want to send further good money after bad. My rights as a consumer have been ignored by them, they won't accept their responsibility and give me a full refund.
The evidence is attached for sitejabber, let's see if Gamiss are denying it when it comes in black and white. I also have the outer packaging with my address on the Royal mail label and the customer ref No i quoted above in case sitejabber need a photo of that too, then i can provide it. Keep digging Gamiss!

I said don't trust ALL OF THE GOOD REVIEWS. But it's fact that you paid for some of them. You messed up your own reputation by BRIBING people to write good reviews. As I said I have proof of being told how to answer certain questions if asked and proof that I was told to think about changing my review since I wasn't happy with my order if I wanted the $20 per transaction review credit. I don't need to lie. I also have photos of the items I received and none of them look like the photos or descriptions. Your company uses the sane photos as every other overseas company, so stop with the we "provide very accurate product descriptions" con. Own up to your mistakes. For anyone who wants proof I'll happily provide it. I have 2 other orders to review from your site and will go in depth review on each item. Once again there's nothing you can do to fix my order issues. I returned them instantly because they were horrible quality item. DO YOU UNDERSTAND the items have a already been returned. I fixed my own problerm by returning them. It's funny though back in December and January when I complained about the items no one in your team seem to show this much concern but now when your company gets called out all of a sudden you want to show like you care. Clearly I had enough proof for this site to warn people that you gave incentives for people to post reviews on site for your company.
Very good prices, very good customer service - they solve problems very quick, they reply in 24 hours. I bought from this shop many Times and I would do this again. Everything was extremely affordable and of great quality. The shipping was also fast and everything arrived on the right time. Before I relate my experiences with Gamiss so far, my advice is to measure yourself carefully and check product description for proper measurements, since the chart isn't standard and varies from seller to seller (my items arrived from different places in the world). Also read the respective reviews to learn what other users are saying about the product.
My first order (RR**************) was a bit of a hit and miss. The blouse looked lovely, the fabric felt nice and needs no ironing (which is a bonus). It was nicely finished except for the inner hem on the collar which wasn't sewn enough, so it popped out. But had an awkward fit. Nothing at all form-fitting like the picture, no shape whatsoever. I felt like I was wearing a bag. Need to make some adjustments.
My second order (RR**************) was a gift for my husband. A stylish black double breasted peacoat, nice fit, good finish, warm enough for Fall/Spring. The only "but" was it seems it was finished in a hurry, since I had to cut open all the button holes. It's a really nice item, I quite like it and so did he.
My third order (R**************) was a red coat for myself. I actually had order one of these coats via Amazon some time back, and was so happy with it that I wanted it in another color. They didn't have my size in red, so I found the same coat at Gamiss and ordered it (again measuring myself carefully and comparing sizes). What I received looked like the same coat but the fabric was much thinner, the hood was small, and the belt loops were placed too high up. However, it is a nicely finished coat, but it was definitely not the same product I had purchased before from a different site, even though the images were exactly the same.
Overall, Gamiss is worth it. It offers good quality affordable items, but you will only find them if you take the time to browse and choose carefully. I can't stress enough, check size charts and your own measurements before you make a decision. Shipping varies, depending on where the item comes from. Some of mine were fairly quick, in comparison to what I used to wait for items via AliExpress.
I have not had to return any of my items, since the faults can be fixed with a few adjustments, so I can't say how the return process works.
My suggestions:
- The site should clearly state the shipping fees for each item in the description, instead of knowing them only at the end of the purchase.
- Items out of stock should also be removed from the listings as soon as they are unavailable to make it easier to browse.
- Ability to message or ask questions directly to others who have purchased something we are wanting to get.

This is the most mismanaged company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I placed an order, the first order I placed was 440.00 more than what was in my cart, I noticed that there were many duplicates in the order, I asked them to delete the duplicates and refund that part of the order to my PayPal account. They cancelled the enire order. I frantically placed another order and made sure there were no duplicates this time, the order was perfect, I sent my payment in along with an email asking them to process the order quickly as these were all Christmas gifts, I checked my email in the morning and they had cancelled the entire order and refunded my money, again. This time, I sent them another email asking them, no, begging them to please process this order quickly, I even paid for expedited shipping, woohoo, finally got all my bases covered, right? Oh no, I checked a couple hours after placing the 3rd order and THEY CANCELLED MY ORDER AND REFUNDED MY MONEY, AGAIN!
I finally decided that I cant deal with that level of ignorance anymore, hence this review. Im pretty sure Im having a nervous breakdown over this and Im sure Im heading towards becoming a full fledged alcoholic because of their total inability to run a business correctly. Im pretty sure I was not dealing with an American based company, doesnt really matter, they suck! Oh, one more thing, they only have 5 hours that I could call them EST, I tried 5 times to call them during these hours, nobody ever answered the phone, I always got a message asking me to leave a message and they would return my call- I did that twice, never did receive a call from them. They have 24/7 live chat, tried that and all I got was a message saying I couldnt be connected with the live chat line. I tried sending them messages begging them to process this order, hello, Christmas gifts, all emails went ignored, they did whatever they wanted. All I can say is if you want to purchase from them, you better start 5 Years ahead of when you want to receive them, as for me, Im getting myself a drink and Im going to try to erase this form of total lack of business ethic from my memory bank! Im done!

DO NOT ORDER A CENT'S WORTH OF ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a jacket that was extremely well-advertised around the Internet on 9/24. Having not heard or received anything besides an order receipt by 10/15, I reached out to the company to see where the heck my order was, especially as I paid for expedited shipping. I received a reply stating that the jacket I had ordered - shockingly - was out of stock, but it would be shipped within 7-10 business days.
So let's break this down: SURPRISE - the jacket had seen advertised on seemingly every site I visited. Not much intelligence into that project. However, I wanted the jacket - it was attractive and cheap - so I waited, but not without demanding the $17 I paid for expedited shipping be returned. Gamiss refused, blaming the inability to refund my shipping costs on the shipping company, whom they had already paid. Well, here's the deal: I paid Gamiss, then they choose to allocate the funds. If you can't refund the shipping costs, refund part of my order. The contract that was agreed upon when I paid Gamiss for expedited shipping was not met, yet I have to eat those costs, even though nothing I did resulted in this shipping delay.
A few emails were exchanged discussing how crappy Gamiss' customer support was (they don't give a crap), and I was "gifted" with a 10% off coupon code (I don't ever want to interact with this company again). That's not customer service, that's passing the buck. The damn website has 10% - 90% coupon codes all over it every day. I wanted the damn jacket and a refund on the expedited shipping I paid for, but to no avail.
So today, 5 and 1/2 weeks since the initial purchase - expedited shipping, remember? - I receive another email stating that my order is being canceled, but I will receive CREDIT TO GAMISS' WEBSITE and 10% off my next purchase. I want nothing to do with this horrendously bad company any further. I want my money back or the jacket I previously paid for and to never have to deal with this organization ever again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced. Coming from a business owner myself, they couldn't have done anything more wrong. Gamiss is the Equifax of online shipping, except not as useful or widespread.
DON'T SPEND A DIME WITH THIS COMPANY. They'll screw you however they can and frustrate the heck out of you along the way. They have no idea what they're doing - the jacket I purchased is STILL BEING SOLD ONLINE, but apparently they're out of stock and won't ship it until 2025. GAMISS IS A JOKE.

Additionally, I'd like the two back ordered products credited back to me along with the shipping costs. Honestly, your company should not have an option to pay for expedient shipping on items that would not be able to fit this expectation - item MBAGH51GS05 did in fact say "Dispatch: Ships within 5-10 business days." Going forward, however, I will evaluate my choices more closely before spending money.

To whom it may concern,
I am more than a little disappointed with the functionality of your website. The items that were cancelled were totaling a value of $23.05, that in combination with the $17.64 shipping to "ensure" that it get to me in 3-5 business days, should amount to $40.69 being credited back to my card the way I paid. Not only did this company leave product, unavailable for that promised shipping time, up on its website; this company also has neglected to ship the part of the order that was available in the time advertised. On top of the inconvenience already faced (it has now been 8 days and my order has only just shipped on the 8th day), I am looking at an email from your company saying "The shipping speed is outside our control and is dependent on the courier company." If this is in fact true, it is fraudulent for you to offer higher shipping charges for faster shipping times that your company has openly expressed it has no control over. Furthermore, if you were attempting to make me settle for a credit on the website, the fact that it takes 50 "G Points" to equal $1 and yet you issued me only 46 for the returned items is simply not tolerable. Gamiss has screwed up my order - fallen shy of its advertisements - and, upon request of a refund, has given me $1 back in store credit for a refund valuing $40.69 total. I absolutely insist on a refund to my card for the money wasted on a company that can't even manage a proper website.
UPDATE: after telling me that two of my items were already shipped I was informed that they were not - would not be - and I am now still waiting on a refund for not only the first two items but the entire purchase. Horrible company.
