“They sell FAKE brand name clothes and say they are...”

They sell FAKE brand name clothes and say they are real. I bought a North Face Denalit jacket from them and it was a fake... The North Face confirmed this, and when I called Gababella about the problem they would always say the manager is busy and never did anything about it. I contacted the BBB about it and filed a complaint.

This is a scam site who is selling faked goods mixed with the original let me tell you my personal experience.

I ordered 6 polo shirts (both lacoste and ralph lauren). I am in Bahrain so i had to ship them over to Borderlinx first and from there, I got the package in Bahrain.

Imagine my surprise and I found that out of the six shirts, they had sent only three correctly from the order. The rest were of all different colors. I contacted them stating the problem and this is the reply I got:

Dear customer,

Unfortunately we are unable to send prepaid return labels.
Considering your location and what it costs to ship and return,
It would be in your best interest to reorder your items with a discount coupon. Please use this coupon code " 30ALL " for 30% off your entire order. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I wrote them back that it is not my fault that they shipped the wrong order! And it cost me a fortune to ship them over from the USA (this is not my first time ordering from the US but the first time I got a different order and damaged goods)! So they need to take care of the return cost and send me the correct order.

No reply from them

I opened one and saw that it had faded worn lines, which comes from shirts lying around a warehouse for a long time. These lines never go away by the way.

So I contacted them again reminding them of my earlier email and that even the right shirts had evidenced of being used/worn out and the reply I got has to be the most amazing reply I have ever seen from a so called online retailer!

Dear customer,
Once the product is exposed to air it will go away.
Gababella customer service

HUH?

I compared the shirts to the original ones on lacoste and ralph lauren sites and to be honest, I don't even think they are real deal. Looks like they have shipped some Chinese counterfeits and charged for the original price on their website.

No customer service, no replies

In short, a scam site. So order at your own risk.

I also received a completely bogus TNF Denali jacket from Gababella.com in the mail today. And it reeks of cigarette smoke. Blech. Oh how I wish i had researched the site better before buying from them... grrr...

There are many ways i can tell this P. O. S. Is a fake. First off, the hood is waaaay to small for the body of the jacket. It looks like someone sewed a child's hood onto an adult jacket and it is a bit misshapen & the drawstring cords on the hood have the cheapest crappy plastic adjusters hanging off them. TNF would never sell something like this even as a 2nd... 2) The fleece is very thin & feels cheap, it is definitely not the same 300 gram thick quality fleece that The North Face Denali is made of (i know because i have a real one)... 3) The zippers---They feel cheap-o, but more specifically there is no "vision" stamped on the base of the zipper, nor is there a "YKK" on the zipper pull. All TNF products have YKK zippers and they will always have these markings on them!... 4) The LOGO, at a glance, looks close to the real thing. But upon closer inspection it has obvious signs of a fake---the stitching on the logo has visible loose threads and I can see that the stitching connects between some of the letters. Real TNF products have very good quality stitching, you will not find loose threads & the letters are all individually stitched, no connecting threads. 5) The jacket tags look funny. The colors a bit faded and there are weird unclean cuts. I own several TNF products and although it looks like a pretty good copy of the real thing, i can tell that these tags are just that. A copy... 6) The tags inside the jacket do not look like what is inside of my real TNF Denali jacket either, the one that i bought last year has several tags inside, they are layered upon each other at the neck and on the side. One with the company name, size, care instructions, one that says "Polartec", another one with a holographic TNF design on it. This fake one has one tag at the neck & one at the side stating it is 100% polyester. That's it... So obviously this thing is not "100% Authentic" as their website promises. (there are a few other small things i could point out that prove it is not authentic, but i think i made my case...) So anyway, I emailed the company but do not expect a good outcome so I called my bank to inquire about any type of recourse. The customer service rep at TD bank that i spoke with said i can file a dispute of the charges, there are no guarantees but in general the policy is that if i can prove a service was not provided by a company or that a product is fake/misrepresented by the company they might be able to do something for me. I have a chance of getting my $ back (whereas if the item never arrived i would be S. O. L. For sure.) After i file the complaint they'll have a rep look into it & get back to me. At the rep's suggestion i am giving Gababella.com some time to respond to me. I'm sure they won't, but i guess it looks better that i took proper steps to try to resolve it with Gababella first and they blew me off. Hopefully they totally ignore me & it will help make my case... We'll see...
