I actually don't want to be a negative Nancy, because I don't want to damage the rep of the artist. I purchased the VIP pkg after purchasing my tix. Two days before the concert, I hadn't received any specifics on what to do/where to go. So I reached out and received an email back (pretty quickly) apologizing for overlooking my purchase and then sending me directions. I was shocked that my purchase was overlooked but we are all human. I was grateful they responded quickly to my email.
Now for a $140 meet & greet, I was hoping for time with the Artist to chat. But instead it was a rushed picture & then ushered away. I would've understood had there been a long line of folks but there were only 3 of us and the artist wasn't going on stage until after the openers...so not for about 2hrs (since we were allowed in early).
Speaking of being let in early. It was great picking up our merch ahead of time. The merch was even cool (a bag, signed pic and vip lanyard)...maybe a tshirt could have been thrown in for the price. But once we got in, we literally could only stand there for 45min before being escorted to the vip room. And even when we got there we had to wait another 40min. Just weird to wait for so long just to be rushed to take a 60sec pic and then rushed out. Would have liked a more personalized experience as advertised. I probably won't purchase again but then again this artist was worth getting a pic with. Just wish I'd had time to at least chat with them or tell them thank you for their gift of music.
Finally, advertised that we would get our pic with the artist within 72 hr and it's been more than a week...still nothing. Again customer service was quick with a reply but it makes it hard to know I spent so much and have to wait so long for pics when the actual pics they took of the artist backatage were posted on her social media site the same evening...with the same phone. Esp since there were only 3 of us meeting the artist. 72 hrs doesn't seem so bad to get up 3 photos. But oh well...

I would like to share my nightmare experience this past Saturday at SPAC in Saratoga Springs. A few months ago, I purchased a VIP package for Foreigner, including a meet & greet with Foreigner prior to the show. I have gone to at least 30+ VIP shows over the last few years, so I am well aware what it *should* be like. First of all, we had to walk out through a field to get to what looked like a circus tent in the scorching hot sun, and the sun was shining inside the tent, and it was hot and disgusting. There were a couple cheap tables with chairs. We literally just SAT THERE AND DID NOTHING. Our host wasn't very friendly or accomodating. There were NO drinks included, not even soda or water, so the host told us she "convinced a vendor to sell us alcohol" like it was some great thing. No thanks, pass. The "appetizers" were 2 trays of food--each person could have a melon ball with cream on top, a slice of apple with a dried out piece of prosciutto, and cardboard bowls with 1 chip and a smear of dip, so everyone could have 1 of each which was BARELY any food, that was also sitting outside for whoever knows how long. There were also no napkins, so our host had to ask a Live Nation person to go fetch some napkins. It was like 88 degrees outside, we had to ask for water, which our host "forgot" to get because she was too busy talking to the other people working the event, didn't give a damn about us. No crowd-free merchandise shopping because, "we didn't have enough time" even though everyone was right on time per the itinerary. I couldn't wait to meet the band, get my photo taken, then get the hell out of there. I paid $475 for ONE ticket. I felt bad for the one guy who paid $1,000 for his front row seat and got the same experience. Just horrendous. This package was terrible, and I will never pay another dime to Future Beat. I would've rather taken myself out for a nice meal and bought a single front row ticket and would've had a better experience. Oh, and get a new host - she had the personality of a rock. I was chatting with a bunch of people in my group in the venue, who I had to convince that VIP packages are usually so much better and this was NOT a typical VIP package experience. The ONLY saving grace was that I purchased a ticket in the 3rd and caught 8 guitar picks after Foreigners' set. I e-mailed the company while I was sitting inside the hot tent, since there was nothing to do except sit and look at each other--I have yet to hear from them. Keep your hard-earned money, go elsewhere.
