Freshly has been fantastic for me! I'm single and live in Manhattan, so buying groceries and cooking can be ridiculously expensive! But, I found Freshly and they work perfectly for my dinner needs! They ate very affordable, taste delicious, low calorie, healthy AND shipping is free! I highly recommend Freshly for food/meal delivery service!
We're enjoying our meals, we wish our portion size was just a bit bigger. Chicken meals are better when protein remains whole instead of diced. Sometimes peppers amd and green beans are waxy and too chewy.

I ended up with 6 of the same meal on order after skipping a few weeks because they update menu items regularly. The charge to my Amex reminded me that the order was placed. I contacted the chat line through the confirmation email and Shin was very helpful, even walking me through current menu items since I didn't have a menu available. All from my phone inside the built in browser in the email program, too. The technology and the human on the other end were both top notch.

I'm a busy working woman with a full time job, a house to take care of and a triathlon training plan I must adhere to. Freshly helps keep me well fed and energized. I don't need to use up any extra free time for planning meals, shopping for groceries or cooking. The meals are YUMMY. Do it!
My mother does not like to cook for herself so I decided to get her 6 meals a week from Freshly and she absolutely loves them. She calls me every time she eats one and we rate it in the app. I am glad I do not have to worry about my Mom getting a good meal when she lives so far away from me. When my Mom gets invited out or decides to cook for herself and has Freshly meals left over, it is an easy click of a button in the app for me to skip a week. The packages always arrives on time and my Mom gives the ice packs away for people to reuse for their coolers. Definitely recommend.

Had an issue with one of my meals there were a couple small pieces of what looked like wood in my bowl and the service rep was very nice and reported it so won't happen again and gave me a credit. Great customer service

I order this service for my elderly father. He loves the meals, but which there were more choices, particularly for beef and fish. Also, some of the sauces should be prepared to come on the side rather than on top of the meat dishes.

I wish freshly switched up the menu more frequently. I am not as excited about my meals as when i first started.
Also i wished they offered a 5 meal option (so i can eat out on weekends and have meals for work nights)

I had something I needed resolved about a previous order. I hopped on the app to utilize the chat feature (super convenient). Reg responded right away and was able to solve my issue almost immediately. They were so apologetic, and made it all right.

Delivery service really messed up and even though my order was shipped from Freshly on Thursday, I still haven't received my meals ( today is Sunday). Mel, customer service rep, was very helpful getting this sorted out for me! Other rep from yesterday was awful!

I have tried other food delivery services and found that I was spending a lot of time chopping, dicing, cooking and cleaning. It was just too much after a very long day. Freshly arrives all prepared! I literally microwave and eat and throw away the package. The food has been delicious and I have found I am saving a huge amount on my grocery bill by not wasting ingredients that don't get cooked. I love it!
My husband and I have been with Freshly for a few months now. We initially ordered twelve meals weekly but found that was too many for two older seniors. We are now receiving nine meals weekly and that seems to work nicely. Freshly has become our main source of food which was our goal in trying Freshly. We are so pleased with the quality of each meal. Of course we have our favorites and have some dietary issues which determines our weekly order. We enjoy trying the new dishes that Freshly offers. We could not be more pleased with the freshness, taste and quality of Freshly food!

I have been pleasantly surprised with Freshly. The meals arrive as scheduled, well packed and ready to go. I tried a cook at home food delivery before, but seldom had the time or energy to cook it. This is perfect. Good food with flavor that just takes a few minutes in the microwave. The portions are generous and the selection is just varied enough to keep me happy. It would be nice to have a few more choices, but I really do like Freshly a lot.
Every meal in our first (1/2 price) shipment tasted great. The only negative -- and its a very big one for my husband -- is the portion size. The portion size simply will not do for a "guy-size" meal. I had to supplement his meal with salad, etc., and I had been hoping your meals could serve as an occasional full meal. (My son and I were completely satisfied with the serving size, but we eat small portions.)

Reached out to customer support after my package hasn't been delivered for the second time. Tracker shows it was left at the lobby. Most residential homes I know don't have a lobby necessarily to leave things in. Diana was very prompt with my concerns and have no complaints towards her service. I do have serious concerns and complaints on the shipping team.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
