The commercial tells you to connect the product to "cable in" on your TV. It should say to connect to "antenna in" since it is about the cheapest antenna you could buy. Unlike the Rabbit Ears of yesteryear you cannot aim the antenna by itself. You will have to turn the TV to do that. Buy a quality rooftop antenna with a rotator if you want to replace your cable or satellite TV. It only cost a few hundred dollars which will pay for itself very quickly. This is the only way to do it right. As far as the mandate to broadcast over the air free programming I believe that started sometime during the roaring twenties! Stewart C.
