I just notice a charge on my credit card statement for freeshipping. I called B of A and they gave me the phone number. I called and the representative said I signed up for it in July to go $10.00 cash back. I do not sign up for memberships and I definitely did not sign up for this. I shop at Kohl's maybe 2-3 times a year and have ordered something once from Kohl's. I have been charged at least 5 months for something I did not sign up for. This seem like quite a SCAM and I will be taking it up with Kohls. This is not right!
I wanted to use the word Scam, but wished to be polite. I believe I tried to use this service once, through Hammacher-Schlemmer, but don't think it worked for me. So, I forgot about it... until I saw a bill for $12.97 for a month from Free Shipping.Com! This gets worse, because I had a discount for the item I purchased from H-S, so they wouldn't apply a second discount in the form of free shipping from FS.com.
The people at FS were polite on the phone and I was also polite. I will see if I get my refund from FS as promised.

I ordered something through one of the websites recently and then I just received this charge on my credit card. I was on the website in the morning to cancel my membership and it told me I could use it until January. I went to get on it again after I canceled and couldn't. Then I looked and my email wasn't correct. I emailed them to ask for my refund and gave them my right email and haven't heard back from them. So not very happy right now

I ordered heated gloves from them at the beginning of November and as of today--December 18--I still have not received them. Yesterday I got a note they had been shipped and I could expect them in the next ten days.
They say Free Shipping but they charged almost $9.00 for handling. The joke's on me.
I cancelled my order 2 weeks ago. They took the money from my credit card 2 weeks ago but I've stopped payment. Never again, "Free Shipping." What a scam.

I subscribed in this service 2 months ago since I knew I'll be shopping a lot on Black Friday as I have recently moved to other state. After shopping, I did get emails that my cash back was approved but then I got an email that my account is cancelled and reason was over shopping can be commercial. They asked me submit them few receipts which I did. After that I've been emailing them every day for past 10 days but no response. Interestingly, I have been charged as well for 2 months fee and no benefit has been given so far. At least, they should communicate more effectively. They shouldn't just assume and decide on their own. Not happy.

I really wanted to like this service. After making a purchase on Kohl's.com, I clicked on the advertisement that offered a $10 rebate on my recent purchase just for trying the service for 7 days after which I would be enrolled in the monthly service subscription. What they don't tell you up front is that the 7 day trial is not free, there is a fee. After seeing a pending charge for this service I contacted customer service. I was told that even though it doesn't say it up front in the description of the service, it is stated in the terms and conditions. Had I read through them I would have seen that a charge would be made. I have subscribed to many monthly subscription services and ALL of them let you know clearly-any and all- fees both in the general description of the service, as well as in the terms and conditions section you have to agree to. But the way they advertise the service it makes you think the 7 day trial is a free one. I was interested in subscribing but cancelled because I'm anticipating future problems with this company. Even though it was a small fee I wish there was a way to be refunded.

I saw the ad on Kohls.com and joined it. That was in October. I have shopped a lot thru Freeshipping stores for Christmas. The only money I have gotten from them is $2.40, which in the email they sent was supposed $8.75. They told me the reason I'm not getting the 10% is that I did something wrong. I'm a heavy shopper. I shop year round. I found this site being advertised on one of the sites I shopped from. I gave it a try. Within less than 2 weeks, my account got cancelled because I shopped too much in a short period of time during this holiday season. Although they did refund me the membership fee, I find it upsetting. I lost so much cash back through them, that I could have got with ebates. They have a cash back cap of $1000/year, no matter how much you spend; but it looks like they don't want you to reach that cap. They want to give you cash back as little as possible with a membership fee of $12.99/month, which is more expensive than amazon prime and costco, considering they are hardly a known company.

I have seen numerous people who have said the same and I have no different opinion. I signed up solely, I believe, for just an Amazon account and suddenly I see charges of $12.97 that have been RECURRING FOR THE PAST 11 MONTHS! I have not once used their services nor do I understand what they are.
The naming behind this "company" is very misleading too and I think it definitely plays a part, whether intentional or not I do not know, in luring in people who are not "careful" while making purchases online. I'll need a REFUND for all this fraudulent activity!
