I recently experienced exceptional customer support at Freelancer.com that I wish to commend. Reaching out through their live chat, I was quickly connected with a representative, demonstrating Freelancer.com's commitment to prompt service. The representative, Jewel, provided a warm and attentive response, thoroughly understanding my issue without rushing the conversation. Their expertise shone through as they offered clear, actionable solutions, simplifying complex procedures with ease.
I'm out of pocket for hundreds of dollars and I have no digital selling website I can use. This Freelancer website has no protection in place for clients ripped off by Freelancers. You can't trust a system that doesn't protect their clients! You simply have no way of knowing whom to trust. The Freelancer Company ignored my pleas for a full refund of all fees paid to the Freelancer under Australian law for a service she never delivered. This site operates more like a scam company with no protection in place for people that do the honest thing.
Recommand project in Recent Updates is a pretty awesome feature, but why keep push 'php' keyword project to me, that I don't have any information talk about php, that may almost 90% recomanded projects not match to me.
And in Proposals, in my opinion, that should have more tags or recent status to show difference.
May a filter for client will be better, or it seems all the same in so much proposals if you don't look at the Description.
Even you do, the description seem so long and personal, not good for quick browse.
It took a few emails back and forth, but the agent resolved my issue, which was an erroneous charge for a project.
When I initially opened an account on Freelancer, I was excited because there were a plethora of prospective creative projects. Yet, when I started to dig in, I quickly realized just how commoditized creative projects (on this platform) have become, as the bidding process is a race to the bottom. I soon discovered that the rate of compensation was way too low for my ongoing involvement, and my account sat inactive for 11 months. I then experienced Freelancer automatically charging me without advanced notice, and then refusing to refund due to their oppressive policies, which wasn't cool. Through the actions of one Support person, Byron, he took it upon himself to make things right... which he did. I give Freelancer a 2, Bryon a 5, averaging 3.5, rounding up to 4 because of him. In these crazy times, it's people like Byron who make a difference. Thank you, Byron.
Everything is perfect, but there are two things;
First, you can new service that for Arabic countries because I suffered until my identity verified.
Second, I know you help a lot of people but at lest response fastest than now.
Finally, thanks a lot for helping me
My experience with Freelancer was quite good. Working as a freelancer helps to hone one's skills. In particular, the Freelancer.com team are very professional and supportive.
Your service is really good. You answer every question and help timely. Hope your company will more develop in the future.
Freelancer.com has amazing customer support agents. They've helped me many times when I had a problem or needed something clarified. For instance, Macall (a customer support agent) helped me understand the verification process and get started. Overall, Freelancer.com is a great place to find jobs that match your skills.
First of all, I have no complaints with the conduct of my interviewer, Chelsea. My concerns are process-related. When I had to schedule the interview, all my options were after midnight. I can function on very little sleep, but prefer not to and would have appreciated being offered different time slots, even if that meant handing my case over to another interviewer. It also felt jarring that on our video call, the interviewer could see me, but I couldn't see her.
The customer support provided by Freelancer.com is top-notch. They respond promptly to inquiries, are always helpful, and have effectively resolved any issues I've encountered.
Russell V. and I recently engaged in a brief video call. The process for verification by Freelancer Staff is truly impressive. During our call, I had a couple of inquiries concerning the technologies I've been actively involved with, and the experience was genuinely enjoyable.
So I actually first of well and happy my funds has been reverted. I signed up to your platform in the past days and my first encounter was with a scammer which I reported. I felt the platform wasn't genuine that is why when I mistakenly deposited, I requested out of fear. But I'm still doing my research on how it works and everything about this then commit fully. Overall, I'm happy with the prompt replies and feedback. I truly like and appreciate that.
Regards,
Cecilia.
I've had problems with withdrawing my earned funds as a freelancer but one of their chat support helped me. Of all the other chat supports that I talked to, this one was the best. She helped me process my withdrawal step by step which really cleared some confusion, not unlike other chat supports that would tell me the same thing over and over again saying, "Check your details" without specifying which one was I supposed to correct. This one chat support really cared for their freelancers. She deserves an award!
I just joined today on Freelancer.com as a freelancing writer, seriously bored, sick and tired of the unpleasant experiences I had in some other platforms. The prices seem to be high at first sight, but the customer service is incredibly fast (and effective) and the project opportunities I found here seem to be much better than some other places I don't want to name. I have a feeling that I will be working on Freelancer.com regularly from now on.
I was lost for words that I almost got scammed because of my desperation to land a paid commission in this platform and good thing the live support is indeed helpful for any fishy moves made by scammer.
Hope you will continue to help out people like me who just want to fill the scarcity of my day job.
Thanks
I am associated with freelancer platform for the last 6 months or more and wanted to work on data entry, typing, data analysis and also PDF to word conversion like want to accomplish. Accordingly, I bid on too many projects. However, I left working for some time. As I mentioned about two mails which offered me the task and make a demand of security man.
I am an honest, hardworking and self-motivated person.
Support was good, i love how they were so calm and wise. Nice platform, but it wasnt for me. Thank you very much.
In the initial stage, I had some confusion regarding bidding on projects. Hence I wanted to avoid scams because on freelancer.com there are a lot of people who are working with scams and divergent minds of true freelancers which ultimately leads to discouragement and disappointment.
However, I had great guidance here from Sir Kavin. R... Satisfactory
Freelance support team members are actively supportive.
I am very glad that issue resolved in a quick time.
It's a pleasure to work on Freelancer.com.
It is easy to find a job and connect potential clients here. You can find any job for any price. So I'm very glad that I have joined Freelancer!
But there are some issues that I don't like:
• Currency conversion with lower rates than Forex
• Very long withdrawal time (maybe it will change because I still waiting for my FIRST withdrawal)
However, I really like how it is going here on Freelancer.com Hope to have a interesting and profitable projects for a long time here. Thanks!
I accidently clicked on a bid and got charged a fee (I did not know this since I was new to the platform). I received a message from a user that later got suspended by Freelancer. Their customer service was great at explaining what happened and they refunded my money right away. I think they need to be more careful as to who they accept as clients to their websites, but overall I was glad they got it taken care of immediately.
Related to the case that happened to me, I think they should restrict an employer profile from being deleted, at least until it receives its respective evaluation. Imagine that you cannot make a negative comment to that employer because he no longer exists, and most likely he will create a new profile with you and mislead other freelancers.
Overall an average experience when it comes to your formalities which are to be done via mails only. There has to be something called phone conversation or customer care services because people like me never take emails on the top of everything, I prefer to speak over a call and then discuss about writing an email for the issue/concern.
But none the less, it was a nice experience with freelancer.com and I would definitely recommend it to my mates.
When I got your last e-mail I instantly read 'Your payment has been cancelled' - at first I didn't notice your Re so I was quite baffled. It would be much better that you start a new e-mail row when things have changed profoundly as in my case where my payment has been accepted. Apart from that I am quite sure that I can address you and get a fine answer. And considering that I am not the brightest boy in the class I think I will need you also in future. Many thanks.
Hello,
I finally was able to verify my identity although I applied many times. However, I am satisfied with the experience because I realized that this process is for our security as freelancers and users. Thank you all.
My client gave me a review but it didn't got published on my profile. Seems like there was some technical issue with the website but credit to Freelancer support staff for identifying and fixing the problem. It took them 2 weeks but they kept in touch with me and my client (apart for some communication delays), and were able to manually enter the feedback on my profile.
The review was important to me so I'm happy that they took the matter seriously and were able to find a solution to the problem.
I am grateful to the support team for their attention regarding my question about the ability to change the payment label through PayPal from commercial to personal. Unfortunately, if I understand correctly, this is not possible here. I hope the Skrill withdrawal works, but I would prefer Paypal because of the lower fees and the lack of additional currency conversion from USD to EUR. In any case, thanks for the support.
