Freedom Encounters

After receiving my Freedom Encounter Deliverance Prayer, the "voices" or what I thought to be "self talk" that I have heard in my head my entire life were completely and strangely quiet! I now have been able to hear the Lord's voice more clearly and enter into a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus and abiding in Holy Spirit. Freedom Encounters and their divinely given Aftercare tools have helped me live out the call of God on my life. I am forever indebted to Ken and Sylvia Thornberg! They are truly servants of the Most High God!

I recently heard these people and some of their team were at a recent coven meeting of satanists. They are full of demons and ask demons to control them and enter them. My friend was at a meeting in Idaho and they were some of the main leaders there praying to Satan and demons. This ministry is a cover up and they are only doing it for an income. They don't deliver any they said they only fool people to take money. If you want demons and empty pockets go otherwise don't.

I have personally received deliverance and aftercare with Freedom Encounters. This includes sexual abuse, trauma and parental narcissistic abuse in my childhood. Freedom Encounters is a REAL christian ministry that sets people like you and me free from the lies of satan and his demons. Don't believe any of these terrible posts. Freedom Encounters is God's truth setting us free from demonic strongholds!

I've had several sessions with my local freedom encounters team in SD and they are AMAZING! I've experienced so much deep healing in so many areas of my life with their help! Always patient, loving, gentle, kind... all the things we need when dealing with our "stuff" that comes up seemingly out of nowhere! Love love love them!

I searched for years to get service with freedom encounters. I was told the first meeting I had which I paid for didn't count because it was with a person this ministry didn't recognize…. But they took my money anyways. The name of the minister was Dale Foote. I paid $150 dollars back then and got nothing but leaves in the wind as a result. When I finally got an appointment with Ken Thornburg, (AFTER PAYING AGAIN) I didn't feel anything immediately, my files got lost and he couldn't find them and the session went ok but I got immediately deathly sick with Covid, not sure it it's related to the deliverance but I don't discount it. As I was trying to recover from Covid, my boss got sick and died shortly after of Covid. I tried to reach out to Ken using the same email thread he and I communicated with to try to schedule an after care session that he promised and didn't get a response for a long time, he never followed up either for almost a year. I finally happened to drive by his house and stopped by to see if he was home and his wife opened the door and had such a nasty attitude, it left me baffled. She was snarky and condescending. I stood my ground and told her I had been trying to reach Ken for an after care session that he promised and she half way composed her attitude and game a phone number to call but oh boy was she rude! She knew who I was, no need to act like this. I knock on doors for a living and she by far was one of the most rude and condescending person I've seen open a door. I left a message at the phone number she gave me and Ken finally emailed back With this nasty email:

Hi Carlos:

Here's the deal. You have proven untrustworthy when saying you would give to FE for my time. I don't trust you. So the original rule is in place. When we receive a check from you for $150 in the mail, and it cashes, THEN I will contact you for more aftercare. I have been a man of my word. So that is it. I'm still at our cabin, but Sylvia told me what your message said.

Sorry, Carlos, you don't make the rules now. I do.

Ken where is this rudeness and animosity coming from. Both you and Silvia are acting rather strange. I paid my fees before and I have plenty of money to cove the measly $150 you are asking for. You promised an after care that never happened and you never followed up once after I was sick and Sylvia was quite rude too. Those are not fruits of any spirit of God that we know.
I don't need your services. You and Sylvia may need more deliverance than me for sure.

His response:

That's fine, Carlos. You have selective amnesia. The first time I prayed for you, you promised to send a gift to FE; you didn't.

The second time I prayed deliverance for you, you promised to send a gift. You didn't.

This is why I don't trust you. You just recently said you would send a check; you didn't. Now I'm supposed to believe you when you say you will come with the money? I may be gullible, but not that gullible, Carlos.

I was sick for months. You promised an after care and I tried to reach you over and over. This selective amnesia rudeness on Sylvia's part and yours is absolute "bull$#*!" that's what it is and that's how it's called.
I stopped by your house because I couldn't reach you and Sylvia was super rude and that's not a way to treat anyone. Absolutely not how a woman of god would act and absolutely nothing I want anything to do with.
You both are exhibiting attitudes that are not consistent with how a minister should behave and that is a RED flag. I don't use checks and I don't have anything but cash on hand which I could have paid and I'm not wasting it on you. Enough of both your rudeness and lack of professional integrity. You come out with your insults and your nasty attitude and you can keep it.

And I did pay my fees, mister selective amnesia story teller. They were paid through your site and that's how I got through your so called training and scheduled an appointment with you because no one was available you only prayed for me once as a so called deliverance service. You want more and more money just to pray over the phone? Really? What kind of joke is this. You are out supposedly offering a service and charging for it which by your attitude I can see it doesn't work even for you or Sylvia.
No follow ups and lots of unprofessional intrigue and insults on your both your parts. I wish I had taken video of Sylvia and her snarky attitude. And you call yourselves Christian ministers?
I've checked all the reviews about your business and there is an undeniable consistency of complaints. Don't ever contact me again.

I felt better after the first session. Some painful memories that always put me in a depression were gone! If you do all the follow up work, you will see incredible results! It's worth it to be set free from painful memories

A lot of benefit from the first session. But the aftercare sessions were just Jill and Peggy's abuse of me.

Also I called the school Peggy claims to work at and they don't remember her, and claim never to even have heard the name. Strange.

I have been a volunteer minister/coach for over 8 years I came to this ministry because it was recommended buy a friend after I received my own Deliverance I wanted to help others with theirs I have ministered to over a hundred people and I would say 80% of them are experiencing on going freedom as they walk it out.
I have learned that our freedom does not come overnight but instead buy stages and by the removal of layers of lies and trauma.
I know the founders personally and believe that they are authentic and real I have had several sessions with other inner healing ministries but this one gave me the most ongoing freedom.

My experience with freedom encounters is terrible too, I am also willing to bless anyone who prays that Ken and Sylvia Thornberg to go to hell eternity. Also the people who tried helping me but a failure especially they just wanted money... their names is Karen and Ralph Findling... The more you pray for these people to go to hell they more god's blessing pour into you! Thanks

This isn't a bad ministry but neither does it do what it says. I would side more with the negative reviewers. I was not scammed but the aftercare sessions were very harmful. Only recently have I been set free.

Tje only reason I give it 3 stars and not 1 is the first session helped.

This ministry should be ashamed of themselves. They are out harming many Christians. They made up a creative way to sell deliverance and are making huge profits at the expense of weak Christians. They don't care about helping anyone and probably never have helped anyone. And they are so rude to. Don't even seem like Christians. Only harmed many and they don't care. Really messed up everything physically spiritually and mentally for me. Worst thing that ever happened to me. But someday they will get what they deserve and it won't be good. Please don't go to them you will regret it forever! You will live miserably everyday in pain and torment after their so called encounter. Terrible wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!

Don't know what I would have done without the help of these volunteers who so sacrificially give their time and prayers to help those who are suffering!

This ministry is satanic. They think everything they find is a demon or an alter. After working with the team i felt confused and sick. Nothing went right for me after they 'prayed' for me and things even got worse.

I concur with the negative reviewers on here. Please stay away and don't believe the 5 star reviews.

I have only good to say for the Thornbergs and every team member working with them. Ken Thornberg is truly anointed and understands the dynamics of the spiritual world better than anyone I've ever met. My life has been transformed through this powerful ministry and I am honored to serve with them.

This ministry is a satanic cult pretending to be a Christian ministry. They put SATANIC CURSES on people to torment and oppress them. They steal their gifts/annointings.

They lure wounded Christians in and then they once you're in their trap, and they 'pray' for you, they send demons and curses to you. THEY'RE OCCULTISTS. Please leave their cult and turn straight to Christ.

Their method is prayer deliverance. Very gentle and very effective. Changed meand my husband's life with the freedom we got. There were teaching a conference to teach others to conduct deliverance prayers. Wonderful.

I have been fortunate to receive ministry from Freedom Encounters. I was loved and cared for. My life has changed for the better. The prayers are amazing and I highly recommend the ministry to anyone who is struggling.

Hello beautiful people. There was a woman named Karen Findling, she is part of a so-called "prayer ministry" called freedom encounters. I really don't know what she did but it tormented my son so badly that he couldn't sleep. My son also couldn't eat like he used to ever since seeing her and the ministry... it was like a curse... Everything flipped upside down in our lives, from our business... to just everything. I really hope from the bottom of my heart that people would stay away from them far as possible. They are so cruel that it is way worst than someone in their death bed waiting to pass away. I hope that those reading this could pray for their ministry to close down. It is very true of what I've been hearing from others that freedom encounters just want the money, and if someone were to ask politely for money back... they would send a threatening messages to make sure that they (whoever wants the refund) to be cursed. Everything they do is not worth anyone's time or for them to scam money out of your pocket.

The woman Karen had a past where she raped and drugged vulnerable men since she wants them to do what she says. (Forcing them to have sex with her for profit, and also brainwashing them to HAVE to know God) Then she literally runs away pretending nothing happens, and keeps doing it (same goes to the women Silvia Thornberg I hope that those who are merciful to those that had been a victim... Those who are Christians... please pray that they (the people from the ministry, Karen, Silvia, Ken, etc will go to hell. May you be blessed very greatly once you've prayed. Thank you god blessed!

Stupid ministry that attributed acts of Satan to God. I once had a demonic activity in my life and Peggy said that God did it and not demons. I forgot how to speak French and when I told her i knew clearly it was demonic, Peggy said in a tone of glee "Do you think it was GOD who had you forget tje French?" So her lazy $#*! wouldn't have to do any more work.

I had the great privilege to receive personal ministry from Ken Thornberg. This is the guy behind Freedom Encounters. In the result, I earned some very powerful changes in my life. First my language which was very poor at that time changed instantly to my own astonishment! It became peaceful and positively oriented. I also received some very deep transformations within my soul through inner healing. I don't know what exactly and how this all began to happen, but the impact was absolutely positive. Where hate, loneliness and emptiness filled my soul before, now peace, joy and such an inner peace came into my inner being. It is so beautiful and this is an absolutely life-changing experience for me! I can also witness first hand very positive results and outcomes which began to surface in the life of other persons, who received prayer from the Thornbergs. I personally saw it more than once and can personally witness this statement. All in all, it was such a positive impact, that I can really recommend receiving powerful prayer from this couple. They are very gifted and talented and have such an immense treasure of experience. But the best of it, I got it all for free! They never asked for money. They said, "We received it from the Lord for free, and we transfer what we got freely to you also!". Yes, they are open for donations, but they've never asked me to give something in return. For professional counseling, you will have you pay for what is done to you, but they gave it for free and the Lord Jesus Christ blessed it. I am also very touched by the way I received their prayer. It was so inspired by the Holy Spirit who guided this blessed men who prayed for me. It was so full of inner strength, wisdom and sympathy, it really touched my hearth and my innermost being. She mentions the Most High GOD, and makes Ken and Sylvia Thornberg her gods! She might reconsider her statement! To give honor to people instead of GOD, is very dangerous. I hope she will keep the healing she got. Because i know that road.It's fine at first and gets from bad to worse! The servants are not of the Most High GOD,on the contrary!.

I use to struggle with fear, rejection and beliefs that I wasn't worthy and that people didn't like me! After going through FREEDOM ENCOUNTERS all the "fear" is gone! I can build REAL relationships with people. My business is doing better. THANK YOU GUYS FOR THIS AMAZING MINISTRY

This ministry destroyed my soul and broke my heart into irreparable pieces. I will say their intentions are good. But given the pain they caused me, their deeds and fruits truthfully are not.
