I absolutely love my Blue Raspberry Babymaker Pro and it came exactly as ordered. Shipping took about 4 months to happen for me, however FLX and FedEx stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process. One thing that was challenging for me was having to change the color and the handlebar style of the bike due to supply shortages, however I am very happy with my second choice and I would not trade it back for the Sterling Silver with upper bars. Thank you FLX.
Ordered 6 weeks ago. Delivery was planned within 7-14 days. Since there no Bike for me. 3-4 Weeks later I asked about shipping. No valuable Feedback. 1 week later again mails to FLX. No feedback at all. Then a feedback that they have problems with shipping provider / carrier. Now again no feedback at all. Very bad experience. Don´t know if the company still exist or what the matter is. Don´t know what´s next. Started request at Paypal to reverse my order and get money back.

I ordered my bike July 30,2020 and still haven't received it. Customer service has told me numerous times that it would be shipped. Tomorrow is May 1st, 2022 (1 yr 9 mo) and I'm still waiting, no contact about it yet. The campaign (with tracking number) says fulfilled when it was not. Highly disappointed.
Bike finally showed up. Three to four weeks after what the sales rep stated on the phone. (I can live with that). However it showed up missing controller, peddles, charger etc. Took multiple attempts to actually get a person on the phone to explain. They did acknowledge the error and said they would send parts asap. Extra two weeks went buy and had to pay additional shipping and duty at border. Bike looks good but very worried if I need parts in the future.
I have been waiting for more than a year and half now to received my Babymaker Pro ordered via the Indiegogo campaign and have still received nothing. A first delivery attempt, to the wrong person and address, screwed up the delivery process. Got no answer anymore from the support team, I am feeling very exhausted by the way this shipping issue is handled by FLX.
Tip for consumers:
Seems that they have very little experience on international delivery regulations and constraints, especially in Europe.

Had an item marked delivered but wasn't actually shipped. That's not the problem though, it was being ignored for about week until I found that out what I paid almost two thousand dollars for wasn't actually lost in the mail but wasn't even shipped at the moment. Then after I am made aware of this I decided to cancel the order several times before I got a "your bike is on the way!" Notification. I would hate to discover what hell hoops I'd have to jump through if anything was wrong with the actual product.
I am a original baby maker crowdfund owner so Ive been with FLX couple few years now. They were terrible customer service then and unfortunately still same story. I placed an order for a baby maker II first week offered to previous owners. I had questions and problems with my order and called and left messages and sent emails. I have never heard back from them. This was is February and its July now. They never responded to one message or email

After waiting 13 months, I was ready to begin talking steps to get my money back. Probably a fruitless endeavor, because of their unique purchasing arrangement. Let's just say, I am relieved to finally get what I ordered. It looks quality, but it will now be sometime before I can ride it following a recent back surgery. After which I fully expect any warranty to be expired. All said, a bad experience i would not recommend to anyone.

Ordered a bike chain in August for an e bike that I purchased from the company. Since I live in Michigan I didn't install the chain until March due to season. Now the chain doesn't fit and they won't allow me to return or exchange the chain the chain cost me $40 and after looking at the exact same chain on Amazon only cost $15. This is not the first time that I've been screwed by this company with bad business practices. My buddy built an ebike which is far more superior than the one I bought from them for far more money. FLX can suck a lemon

Very disappointed. Bike will not assist on moderate hills. Assist shuts down. Don't buy this bike if you have hills. Works okay on flat terrain.

Customer service won't talk to you, they won't answer the phone or call you back. They hide behind e-mail. Don't expect them answer any questions or clarify anything. I ordered a med/large frame by mistake. I immediately I sent them an email to correct the order to a small/med frame. I made repeated inquires regarding date of delivery and never got a call back or an email. Eventually I was fed up. I cancelled the purchase through my credit card company. Then FLX emails me (still no call back from customer service) blaming me for the delay in shipping. And they are sending the bike out for delivery even though I don't want it any more and I have cancelled the order as I have lost confidence in this company based on the lack of communication from customer service. Trek, Specialized, Cannondale, Giant all are professional companies who have intact customer service departments, with representatives who you will speak with to resolve any misunderstandings and answer questions. I know that I can count on them for support, if issues arise regarding the their product. I would rather pay much more for a bike and know that I have the support of the company behind the product. Dealing with FLX it feels much like you are just interested in pushing orders through. If I am stuck with this bike that I longer want I know there will be no helpful support from FLX.
Part missing from a touring pack. After raising a customer service request which was automatically acknowledged it took 3 weeks To get any response and then only after bombarding the company on social media.
Hello, It's been over a year since I ordered my bike, you keep saying it's coming ……send me the Tracking number
Thanks Brian

I bought 2 bikes at christmas at greater than $5000. Started off with loose cable connectors to the dashboard, easy fix but a trip the shop, Lucky they are local to SAn Diego. Then we had motor problems where the motor would cut out when warmed up and then kick back in after a few seconds. Really disrupting to riding. After two trips they agreed to replace the motors. I picked up the bikes and I rode mine for 6 miles as I left the house on my 2cd ride the pedal came loose. I took my bike in again and showed them the problem. They asked me why I took the crank arms off. I said I didn't and then I was called a LIAR several times "Your lying to me" by the sales associate. The crank arms were mounted on the wrong sides left arm on right side and right on left side. An easy mistake but caused the pedals to loosen one pedal has reverse threads. The mechanic then said I was questioning his ethics.and his competence. I was questioning his competence. The arms are marked with an L and R.and needed to remove to change motors. After much screaming they agreed to change the arms out and replace the pedals since the threads were stripped. The ebike seems good when it works but the customer service and being called a LIAR by staff is enough to cause a bad review. I don't get mad easily and I have ridden and fixed bikes for 50+ yrs. But being called a LIAR was to much Stay away if you buy one pray nothing fails

I was a contributor to the indigogo for the Babymaker pro and received my bike in late 2020. I wasn't able to ride due to an injury so I didn't open my bike until recently (now that I can ride again). To my not so pleasant surprise my bike did not ship with the LCD computer necessary to use any the bike's electric features (it was supposed to be included, someone at the company forgot to pack it). So, I wrote the company and was told since it had been more than 14 days that it was my responsibility to pay for a new LCD. Now I'm out $50 (they at least gave me a discount after complaining) and have to wait even longer to try this bike out. Not cool.
Ordered a F5 Trail Bike and it was shipped without pedals or a charger. Still have not received the order and please try and call their home office and get a response. They will not pick up the phone or return an email even when I pretended to try and order another bike. Worst customer service I have ever received for the $$$$$ I spent. Go with another company as their are a ton of options out there.

So I I tried changing my birthday because it was entered in wrong I entered 1697 for the year when I was born in 1987 I called to try and fix it they told me I could only change it on the app. So I downloaded the app and for nothing because I wasn't allowed to fix it there either. So I call back explain the situation gave them all my information she put me on hold to see if they would allow the change and she gets back to me and tells me I'm sorry but for security reasons we can't change it you would have to make a whole new account and then then call us so we can transfer your points... so then I tell her so by new account you're telling me I have to make a WHOLE NEW EMAIL... when the only thing that was wrong was my year on my account and for security reasons even though I gave you everything you needed and wasn't wrong with anything they still refused... total loss on points and totally not shopping with anything associated with FLX! Horrible service horrible horrible horrible... they've lost a looooong time customer!
They have terrible after sales service. Got the very first unit they launched at Indegogo, in fact I was number 21 on the list. I was initially very supportive until I started questioning some issues. One of the founders started arguing with me. A founder arguing with a customer, I mean close to the point where there were loud voices over the phone. I just sold my bike and got something else.

Waited forever and when it finally arrived, the charge port didn‘t work. Again weeks of waiting, extremely complicated to repair and the result? A bike that constantly stalls and is far away from the 28mph that were promised. Service doesn‘t respond any more to my mails. Keep your hands off that company.
Believe ALL the negative reviews. FLX will gladly take your money but when it comes to delivering the now infamous Babymaker, they'll make you jump through hoops to get a response. Then once you do receive a message from customer service, they'll give you the run around avoiding giving an actual answer as to WHERE THE HECK is our order. We ordered back in August of 2020. Gave us an estimated time of NOV- DEC. Nothing. We were told Jan. Nothing. Promised April. Nothing. It's now May and I'm honestly in disbelief with how bad our experience has been. I never leave bad reviews like this but this is completely unethical. To pay for a bike at that price point and to be treated this way, I feel swindled. Complete failure of a company. STAY FAR FAR AWAY.

I ordered my bike July 2020 and haven't received it yet. I contacted customer service multiple times and they just kept avoiding getting my bike shipped. They decided to upgrade me to a BabyMaker II this month Jan 2022 and it still won't arrive until April 2022. Since the wait to receive my bike is almost about 2 years I cannot see how anyone can be satisfied with this type of service. They should offer to include a free item for the inconvenience. Also the upgrade was for a bigger battery in which I don't know what benefit that entails as well as different handle bars than the drop bars I originally ordered. No worth much considering I have to wait another 4 months.

Just received my notification and paid my GST as my Baby Maker has arrived in Australia. It is 17 months since I paid my money. Cross my fingers as am looking forward to mine arriving.
I purchased a bike from this company on Indiegogo, expecting my bike would be built in USA as I was led to believe and would be delivered to me in Canada September 2020. Their page states that your bike is Guaranteed.
I contacted customer service and was told Oct 27/2020 that my bike would be shipped from China and they could not estimate the shipping date. They cannot advise when a bike will be shipped, and will not honor their guarantee. The customer service agent, Erica, was very rude about it.
Beware of supporting this company's indiegogo campaigns. Especially if you are an international customer.

The social media Coordinator is great, quick to respond and apologetic, but can't say the same for the rest of the team...
Was in the first to order the baby-maker E-bike in 2020, yet in some of the last to receive it. The bad communication forced me to go fishing for information, however thats not the worst of this frustrating journey.
Fast forward to April 2022, the bike gets delivered, all happy I unpack it to get ready to use it. I get greeted to the impossibility to use the bike, No display, no seat post, no front axle, no pedals, no charger, no lights.
I contact support on the Monday, get a response on the Friday afternoon, simply unacceptable for this well established company. No proper apology, no "we'll make it up to you". They accepted fault for the missing parts and ask me to verify my identity (understandable).
The next Monday they send a confirmation for the order, and said that i would receive the parts in a few weeks to a few Months, bear in mind that at that time the bike had already been sitting for 2 weeks unusable.
THE NEXT DAY, on the 26th of April, the order for all the parts in cancelled, for no reason and i get no explanation.
My next step at this point will be legal action as this is simply unacceptable, 2 years waiting for an incomplete product. Just to point out, in the UK it is a LEGAL requirement as demonstrated from the Consumers Act from 2015, that i am entitled to a full refund or repair of my product in a timely manner.
I will update this review when i receive a response to my email. My best advice, STAY FAR AWAY FOR THIS COMPANY IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN THE US.

FLX is a Southern CA based E-Bike company coming off of a stunning record setting $13.7M Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for its "Babymaker" stealth road electric bike with belt drive. Dear Bill,
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing some difficulties with the performance of your single-speed, pedal-assist ebike with a 350-Watt motor, particularly on moderate hills. I understand how important it is to have a bike that meets your needs.
It's worth noting that the performance of an ebike on hills can vary based on a few factors. The speed at which you can ascend a hill will depend on your individual expectations, rider weight, and skill level. In my personal experience, I average about 9-14 mph on moderate to steep hills with a similar setup.
If you're looking for more power and speed on hills, we do offer models with 500-Watt, 750-Watt, 1000-Watt motors that can provide greater assistance, allowing you to cover terrain with less effort. You may find these models better suited to your specific needs.
Here are some options you might want to consider:
• Step Through 2.0 - Comfort commuter eBike – FLX Bike
• F5 Trail - Hardtail Electric Mountain Bike – FLX Bike
• Bandit II - Fat Tire Scrambler ebike from FLX Bike
• Blade 2.0 - 1000W Belt Drive eMTB – FLX Bike
Please feel free to explore these options, and if you have any questions or would like further assistance in choosing a model that aligns with your expectations, don't hesitate to reach out.
We're committed to ensuring you have the best ebiking experience possible, and we appreciate your feedback.
Warm regards,
Team FLX
