The TV is excellent. The shipping company used, AM trucking, left a LOT to be desired. It took numerous calls to confirm delivery and no accommodations were made for my schedule. Extremely poor customer satisfaction.

I ordered a new LG OLED TV from this site yesterday since they had the best price available online and stated there was no tax or shipping charges. I researched them online prior to the purchase and found several people on reddit with good experiences.
Well, this morning they called to inform me I needed to pay $200 for "shipping insurance." Another bait and switch company that lures people with fake prices and charges extra afterwards. Anytime an online website calls to get more money after a purchase run away.
Two weeks for delivery but drivers were very efficient and professional. Love the tv picture

TV arrived with no screws to mount to TV base, no remote, no manuals... beginning to think that I was sold a refurb when I was told it was a new TV. Also, shipping took 3 weeks to arrive.

TV arrived safely and was delivered gently. Pleased with the item and the actual hand-off.
Less impressed with the timing of the delivery - 21 days from click to delivery. This would have been more palatable had the shipping company's delivery estimate not been for a delivery a full week earlier. When the shipping company gives you an estimate it's that estimate I trust - not the one on the original listing.
Nothing wrong with the actual goods or the delivery service itself, but some clearer expectation setting would have made a big difference. Not a lot of acknowledgement of the issue from FirstclassTVs, either.
From ordering to delivery, I was very happy with my service. Price was excellent. Delivery was in less than a week, and item was delivered inside my home. Delivery men opened box and checked television. I was very satisfied. Would definitely order from them again.

The delivery company was terrible. I got a call and scheduled a time. Then got another call a few days later from a guy that sounded like he just woke up. Either that or intoxicated. I told him I already set up a delivery time on a Friday. He did they don't deliver on Fridays. Only gave me 2 days with morning times for iPhone. My husband and I work both of those days and times. He was very rude. Said too bad those are the only days. Even my co-worker said "what's his problem, I would just hang up on him" because I took the call while at work. I would have just cancelled the order because they were so terrible but my husband really wanted the TV. My husband adjusted his schedule last minute. Then my husband said the guys that did the actual delivery smelled very strongly of weed. Smoking weed while delivery my 2 grand tv. Real professionals. So ridiculous. They need to use a different delivery company.

Answer: Shipping insurance is not a scam. When you are shipping a fragile item that costs thousands of dollars it must be insured. We quote the shipping insurance afterwards so the customer can save the most money. If we included in the price you would pay much more than you would need to since shipping insurance is a variable cost. Keep in mind that after the shipping insurance you are still receiving the TV at the lowest price in the nation GUARANTEED. Its a simple concept to understand. Some customers unfortunately cannot grasp the concept but we have thousands that do and get to enjoy these great TVs and AMAZING PRICES.

The website specifically states that there is shipping insurance on TVs thats quoted after the purchase. It is quoted afterwards since our company strives to give each customer their very best price possible.
Instead of putting a very high price at checkout so everyone pays more than they should we leave out the shipping insurance and quote it based on each customers location, item, value this way you can save the most money. A key factor you are forgetting is that even after the shipping insurance it was still the lowest price by far you found anywhere..
