In general most items I order from companies that ship with fedex arrive up to a week late when they use the economy options like "surepost", that will surely not arrive on time. When I call customer service to see why the item is scanned twice a day at the same shipping hub for five days and does not move, they can not tell me and say there is nothing they can do. They do try to tell me that all shipping companies are struggling due to covid but that has not been true for over a year at this point, it's just them.
I really try not to buy from companies that use fedex because I would rather pay a little more money for an item that will arrive in a timely manner and not sit for days on end in a random warehouse.

My package was lost. As soon as they stated that my package was delivered I went down to check there was $#*!ing no $#*!. I try calling them but they will never answer, I had to contact Amazon to contact them. With FEDEX delivery people, I never get my package on time. Reason: I live in an apartment building and delivery persons are too lazy to come to the 3rd floor by elevator to deliver my "Signature Required" packages. I went to the FedEx store to mail a package to Bogota Colombia. This is the first package I have mailed to Bogota and my son will be living there for 2 years so I will be mailing more packages. FedEx is the worst for caring about where they deliver your package. They left my package in the middle of the front edge of my porch in full view of the street. They have also left packages in my driveway, and in the middle of my neighbor's driveway. All of these would've been so each to steal.
On the other hand, UPS always places the packages behind one of the pillars or on the bench.
On June 29th I placed an order with Lowes in Palm Springs for a 1x4 window and was told it would be delivered by Jul 11. I was given a tracking number by Lowes for FedEx, and everything look good, until the Shipment was delayed in Georgia for 4 days, then it was sent on it way and was stuck in Bloomington California for another couple of days which the next step should have been to Palm Springs instead they have shipped it off to Colorado and said it should be delivered by the 20th. From this point on whenever I order something that need to be shipped, I will ask if it will be shipped FedEx and if it is I will tell them to cancel the order.
Shipped a package from Wisconsin to Kentucky. The package said delivery on Wed the 13th before 250pm. I called, and was told it was scanned into Nashville, which serves my area. Now I got an update saying my package has left and was checked in 2 hours south of Nashville, 3 hours south of me. I call back and was told, there is already an inquiry, and was hung up on.

Not a fan of this carrier, not delivering when promised, customer service sucks... first you have to pay for shipping with the vendor then before they'll deliver the package you have pay a service fee, it's like paying for shipping twice.

I am astonished with the delivery people. They argued with me that I refused a package when I am the only one working in the office, when I would never refuse a package. The "supervisors" are so very unprofessional and argued with me and wouldn't even leave the package so at that point they are refusing to drop off and has nothing to do with us. I am astonished with this company.

In the past two weeks FedEx has lost 3 of my packages from 3 different companies, followed my tracking numbers then they stopped at the distribution hub could not find Recipient, how is that possible the post office can find me, Amazon can find me, and UPS does not have any trouble finding me where are my packages? I have a package and you guys are the courier. First, I didnt get any paper saying "attempted delivery" and I am pissed because you asked me to pick it up from a certain location. My address of delivery is different from my ID address. And you require that to be matching. When your order ships with fedex, expect to either get it 5 days late, or not at all. You'll see your order "in transit" IN YOUR CITY for DAYS. Want to switch to hold at location because they can't handle delivering anywhere near the estimated date? Sorry, your package is now "delayed", with no further explanation.
Orders from walgreens are shipped via fedex home/ground. Not a good thing if you live in an apartment building. Their delivery personnel are too lazy to bring packages to the delivery apartment. Instead, they leave them in the lobby. This means that there is a likelihood that packages will be pilfered, opened with contents stolen. Luckily, walgreens will reimburse me for my shipment.
However, if you are a small business, or ship items that are irreplaceable or expensive. You might have to kiss the income you make good bye.

Fed ex tracking is no good. I see no point in having tracking when all it tells me is when it was shipped. I was expecting a package yesterday, all day fed ex tracking said it would be here. Around midnight the tracking changes to "delayed". It was shipped 7 days ago, and still all the fed ex tracking shows is that it is delayed and that it shipped 7 days ago. Tracking is supposed to show progress, not just the day it was shipped. According to this, the package left out a week ago and hasn't stopped anywhere, or changed trucks. The customer chose fed ex, I didn't, and I never will again.

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
