The reviews indicate a predominantly negative perception of the company's reputation, particularly regarding its delivery services. Customers frequently express frustration over significant delays, misdelivery of packages, and inadequate customer support, often describing the service as unreliable and unresponsive. Positive aspects are notably absent, with many reviewers highlighting a lack of accountability and poor communication from the company. This consistent pattern of dissatisfaction suggests a need for FedEx to address operational inefficiencies and enhance customer service practices to restore trust and improve overall customer experience.

Fed EX is the lousy shipper forced on all rock auto buyers, they loose parts ordered, mis deliver orders to strange addresses, w/out checking that address, then blame the customer for having a bad address or being unable to find said address, there is no way to contact FEdEX abut anything other than the script offered by their computer generated voice, in short LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE, dont use them for anything if you want your package delivered on time and to the right address
If fed ex workers would stop sucking $#*! maybe I would get my package. They are always late and at times sit for 3 days to a week before moving... fed ex should go out of business. Ups is 1000 times better than fed ex...
Paid extra for overnight service. Fedex sends notice on tracking of package, that they will deliver not overnight but 2 more days later. No way to get help, period. They do not care they got their money. The part being shipped is needed to fix my well so my home can have water in the house. Now, we will do without water for 5 days. How is that for customer service! #*******976 Package got to San Antonio distribution center at 5:29 AM Sat. & no delivery until Monday, whenever.
Shipper paid $480 for a overnight Friday delivery. This did not happen. FedX barley apologized and will deliver the package three days later stating "We don't work on weekends". Never-mind the $200 dollar per hours crew waiting for this package. Use FedX when you absolutely positively Don't need your package overnight.
. My package was supposed to be delivered already. It has taken them 5 days to move the package 1 state away from it's origin. Only seven more states to pass through. At this rate I may see it in a month.
South Winsor, CT location and the delivery drivers are both stupid and lazy af. Want a paycheck without doing your job? Apply at FedEx
We are now on day 9 waiting for FedEx to ship my product to me. We have had 8 days of "operational delay" but the last day is "weather delay" because we had a short rain shower. When you call the representative is confused about which excuse they should use and they will use anything that comes to mind. Package made it from Minnesota to Oklahoma in two days but is still stuck in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the last 9 days. Very poor company to deal with or rely upon to get your products to you.
I have had the misfortune of having to order online during our COVID pandemic like many others out here. I have had packages make it to the local hub in South Bend Indiana but never made it to my house…I have had packages delivered to wrong address over 100 miles away from my house - I have had packages multiple times reach the local hub in South Bend Indiana several days in a row - also indicating that the pigs were out for delivery but never made it to me- and yet returned to hub without delivery multiple days in a row- this company is the worst of the worst and yet I never had the opportunity to pick the delivery company - so sad - I will no longer be able to shop online because most companies want to use Fed Ex for shipping so we all lose now. Fed Ex has no customer service so to speak of and I would never ever use them to deliver for me. I wouldn't even give them a 1 star if that was an option.
Delayed for 5 days. Status changed to out for delivery, but never actually delivered. They said attempt made, but they are lying, I was home for the whole day, they didn't come. What a $#*! company with bunch of liars, wish they bankrupt soon.
My delivery man went out of his way to put my package where I wanted it Driver #336 is a good man!
I ordered a replacement furnace core online and it was shipped FedEx address was correct but they shipped it to another address and said the package was delivered my video surveillance cameras and neighbors said FedEx wasn't even in the area. So if you want a package delivered correctly don't use FedEx use another shipping service or just lose out on your money.
Waiting for delivery a modem to a rent house. Fedex said it would arrive at noon. We waited outside. No delivery. Checked tracking and it said they tried to deliver, but nobody was home. Called customer "service" no help. Had to go and pick up the box after being hung up on because I called the driver a lazy $#*! liar. When I got to the pick up site, I asked for the person, Chris, who had hung up on me. She said she didn't tolerate people that cuss, and I said I don't tolerate people that lie to me. If you can avoid FedEx, do so. You will save yourself a lot of frustration.
I ship a lot of stuff and use all of the big three in the USA (FedEx, UPS, USPS). I recently shipped a FedEx letter pack from PA to ME (standard overnight by 4:30pm). I looked up the rate online first and was expecting the cost to be in the $25 to $30 range. When I saw the actual charge on my credit card, I was billed almost $60... for a regular next afternoon small FedEx envelope. When I called to inquire why it was so much money, I was told that the rate I saw using the actual FedEx calculator on their website before I shipped was for a letter that weighed 8oz or less, and they said mine weighed 1.5lbs (I find that hard to believe as there were only eight sheets of paper in the envelope). The shipment was assessed 4 additional surcharges ("fuel" surcharge, residential delivery surcharge, a "zip code surcharge", plus the excess weight beyond 8oz charge). So a $28 envelope became a $57 envelope. None of these other fees/surcharges showed on my pre-delivery estimate. If you take the time to research how much a shipment will cost (on their own online calculator!) and it winds up costing literally double when you get the bill, what's the point of even having a rate calculator on your website? I guess their right to charge all those surcharges are buried in fine print somewhere but I didn't see it anywhere. I read contracts for a living so I know what I'm looking at. I will NEVER use FedEx for anything ever again. I hope someone from FedEx reads these... I'll repeat that... NEVER! This was a personal shipment but I have some influence over a $100K+ annual commercial shipping account, and I now have an appropriate picture of how this firm operates. Goodbye FedEx and other shippers beware when you "think" you know how much it's going to cost.
TRACKING # ************** FedEx is the most screwed up, incompetent, delivery company in the world. Each of the last five... FIVE... packages were delivered days after they were "scheduled for delivery today". I miss work waiting for their deliveries because they are NEVER able to put the package on my doorstep (in fact, they just throw the packages haphazardly in my yard or in the ditch in front of my house) so that anyone else can just walk up and steal the package. Someone needs to open an investigation in this piss-poor company, or open a class-action lawsuit against them. The USPS is more competent than FedEx, and USPS employees are just government minions that do nothing but suck up a paycheck!
It needs to be a law that makes companies give the purchaser the option to pick which company they want delivering their packages! After all, those companies are charging US the delivery charges!
I was on my way to work just driving through the neighborhood, and this one guy turns on the road right in front of me. He almost hit me, it was scary.
Good afternoon,
I am writing because of a situation with FedEx I feel needs to be heard. We paid $186.65 for a 2 day delivery from California to North Carolina on 7/27/2021. The package arrived 7 days after we mailed the package and missed our client's event that was scheduled for 8/1/2021. We are unable to charge the client for the contents of the package and are now out the $100 plus shipping of $186.65 for a total of $286.65. We called customer service today and were not helped in any way whatsoever. I spoke with Kathy at RCAT who told us, "Sorry, nothing we can do. Go back to the Postal Annex and see what they can do." I explained to Kathy that our client has spoken with 3 managers at FedEx who discovered an employee was marking the delivery as business closed no delivery attempt... despite the address being a residential location. Kathy at RCAT refused to provide me with her last name and when I requested to speak with her manager she claims there is no one higher to speak with. This is completely unacceptable behavior, horrible customer service, and an example of a major global entity not caring for their customer base. Judging by the other comments and reviews I've seen on here, it is apparent FedEx really does not care about their customers. We hope FedEx will make this right on all ends.
They can't seem to make it out of Portland for local delivery even after 3 days in Portland, this is common. Save yourself grief and only do business with companies that offer shipping choice.
Never have I received an ontime delivery from FedEx and I've even had to ride around the neighborhood to find my package in the next block because that house had the same numbers, (not street) on it. I emplore all businesses use some other delivery service other than FedEx please! No image because I'm still waiting for my package
Ordered 2 pair of shoes. Had them delivered to my job. A warehouse enclosed by a fence. Never received. Opened a case for missing which was denied. They said they delivered it, and they are allowed to deliver to door of RESIDENTIAL addresses. Even though I keep stressing its a business, and leaving it outside of the gate would be leaving it on the street, they insist they are allowed to do this. Never ordering anything with FedEx as delivery.
Irresponsible couriers. Once I ordered a LG TV. They delivered as broken. Now I ordered a Samsung S21 ultra. They delivered somebody else's house and get the sign. I have solid proof. I have a ring camera, nobody comes to my house on that day from fedex. I lost my money and the supplier also have loss due to their delivery people. They close my claim file as per their wish.
Answer: Based on my experience and other reviews I have read, FEDEX is looking to put itself out of business. I will be very happy when Amazon buys them for a discount.
Answer: Heck no. Its a shame the are called a company. Don't even deliver on time the slowest ever
Answer: FEDEX just lost my package and don't have a clue as to what happened. A real bunch of bums
Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
