Poor customer service, some good reps, some punky guys too

FCP Euro "used to be" excellent.

The issue is not with the parts or prices. The issue is now run by obxoxious IT sorts. You know, the rude, socially inept types. The have a terrible Chat feature, big waste of time. They do not answer emails and if so not on a timely basis. They put you on hold forever and jamblast nasty criptic doomsday tunes into your ear for 5-25 minutes on hold. So rude. Bye Bye.

This is what happens when companies do not mix IT with personal interface properly. TECH NERDS.

Suggest you try Pelican Parts in CA. Excellent customer service and reps knowledgeable on your vehicle and pick-up their phones in seconds.

Unfortunately, FCP Euro is now just of Gen Z "ero" kids in cubes operation...a bioler room nightmare.

They are not as bad as Parts Geek who have mastered obnoxious "Joisey" but FCP is working on it. Unfortunate as they used to be very good. This is what happens when a company allows themselves to be run by tech jack asses. We all know about tech jerks with no comminication or social skills.

Also, if you are on hold once the office closes...you will be on hold all night. No message indicates otherwise.

FCP is one of these frustrating outfits that makes it near impossible to find their phone number on their website.

Do you really want to do business with a company that tries to avoid human interface but certainly wants your coin? I do not. You make it diffucult to speak with you, I'm not buying.

You also can't call in and get a specific rep you were dealing with... FCP is obviously run by an "$#*!"burger tech goon... customer service just awful.

Only reason they got two stars was they do mail quick and prices are fair... but if you have an issue, FCP is a uuuuuge pain in the $#*!.

Hope you enjoy waiting on hold all day or being hung-up on if you complain about long holds and bad service.

Twice Purchased, Twice not received. Customer Service provides broken promises! A waist of money!

This is the email I sent to FCP Euro's Customer service department on the 15th of June, 2023 in the middle of waiting for my second order:

To whom it may concern,

"I emailed you on July 13th, 2023, and asked for two simple things;

1. What service did you use to mail my order? (which was made on June 3rd, 2023).

2. Please provide the Tracking number information for my order! (which was made on June 3rd, 2023).

You see,

This is my second attempt to purchase these parts! As the last order I purchased, I NEVER Received.

It was not delivered to me, regardless of what your system says. And because your company did not provide a tracking number, I had no way to track that package.

For this second order, I do not accept that your tracking system is accurate when it says that this second order is due for delivery on June 27, as I paid for 1 Day Shipping. If it is already out of your hands and with the carrier, It should have already arrived.

At this point, my trust and faith in your business IS GONE! And once this transaction is complete to my satisfaction, I will NEVER do business with you again! I will expect an immediate response to my valid requests by the end of the day PST on June 16th, 2023.

Otherwise, I will be taking the following action;

I will be reporting your business to the better Business Bureau. Furthermore, I will make sure to slander your business name when I attend BMW rallies and car shows. I have spent good money (TWICE), and waited nearly two months for these parts, I am unable to finish my project without them, and I have already missed two events this summer waiting for these parts."

…and this is the response I got:

Hello Charles,

Thanks for contacting FCP Euro!

I am so sorry for any frustration caused. Upon referencing the checkout details, there are numerous items in this order that had extended lead times. The shipping estimation given at checkout was 6/26 and you opted for 1-day delivery, so that would have this guaranteed by 6/27.

Apologies again for the trouble and thank you for understanding.

Apologies are worthless if one (or a company) do not make good on the correction. FCP Euro has twice taken money from me, and not delivered those parts in good faith. They have promised that the second order would arrive by a date (6/27/2023) and that date has come and gone with out that delivery. That is simply theft of my money! "Quality & Service, Guaranteed for Life", that must be a joke!

Honesty and Integrity equal loyalty. FCP Euro have neither Honesty, nor Integrity, and nobody should trust their customer service. Do NOT do business with them, you risk losing money and time.

This company had been reputable in the past, but over these past three months, I have had nothing but contempt and furious anger for FCP EURO! This company SUCKS!

No products. I never received my purchases. No refund has been offered for either of the purchases I have made.

REVIEW UPDATE: After posting my review the next day I was contacted by a Mr Shane Giumarello via email. He expressed his sincere apology to me for my mishap and explained what had happened at the distributors during the holidays. He also reassured me how valuable his customers are, and that he was going to make things right with my issue. Thank you Shane for reaching out to me and thank you FCP Euro for showing me how valuable your customers are to you.

1st review:
Let me start off by saying that this could have easily been a 5 star review. With that being said I needed to replace the control arms on my Audi but I didn't want to use the OEM parts because the bushings are known to wear out very often on my particular model, so I decided to find a good parts supplier which was FCP Euro. I called FCP Euro the 1st time to verify if the control arm kit I saw on the website would fit my Audi. I was told that it would fit just fine for my Audi and the kit was not VIN# specified so therefore I purchased the kit. After receiving the kit and dropping it off to my mechanic a few days later my mechanic called me to tell me that none of the parts could fit my Audi. I called FCP Euro and spoke to a Mr James Paris to verify if my order was correct, just to find out that the kit I purchased was not compatible for my Audi. I went over the scenario with James and let him know what happened which he replied that whoever I spoke to should have checked my VIN# but nevertheless he was gonna fix the issue for me. James told me that they didn't have the kit for the brand I purchased but they had another kit which was a step up in price and that he was gonna try to sort it out with his manager. James emailed me later that day saying they resolved the issue, and that this new kit will fit 100% (his words) plus he's gonna send it overnight. I was pleased and impressed with the way James handle it. I received the parts the next day and took it to my mechanic. Couple days later my mechanic told me that this new kit does not have the sway bars like the 1st kit I purchased so I told my mechanic to go ahead and get a replacement because I didn't want to bother James again since he responded so well to my issue. A day later my mechanic called me again and told that FCP Euro sent me 2 left rear control arms and they are now at a full stop once again needles to say I was not happy. I contacted FCP Euro and try to get in touch with James to explain what happened but I was only able to leave a message for him to return my call because I was on a time crunch but he only replied to me in emails. It took several emails and pictures for James to understand what duplicate parts was sent to me needles to say I was not met with the same energy from James as the 1st time I called with my issue. I emailed James on the 21st about my incorrect part, but the replacement part was not shipped until the 23rd the mechanic didn't receive the part until the 28th. My car was at the mechanic for about 2weeks which I had to pay a HUGE! Labor charge for each time the mechanic had to put my car on the lift then the time wasted back and forth because the parts was incorrect. I wouldn't have to pay unnecessary labor cost if the parts was verified from the beginning It ended up costing me way more in labor than it should.

Make sure the parts is correct tripple check with them
