I made my first order from Pam's Fast Growing Trees last fall - several maple trees and six different shrubs. I also bought the Guarantee. There was nary a leaf on any of them. I called and was reassured that this was normal; the plants were dormant. Then we had an unusually cold winter and late spring.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the plants come to life - all but the Yuletide Camilias. I took photos, as the Guarantee instructions indicated. When I called to report the problem, the staff member didn't even ask to see the photos. She asked me about the problem; I described the lack of life in the plants (no green and snappy twigs). I could have asked them to send me new plants (later in the year) or get a credit. I chose the latter and so I'd be able to decide what I want later.
I am a very satisfied customer who will do a lot more business with Pams.
Bushes arrived very small very little foliage, dissapointed, planted, no growth at all, blueberries are not in my future. Gee the plants in your website look healthy green, blueberries plentiful. I didn't buy these bushes to look at a sickly plant
Shipping trees? How could that work? Exactly as expected. Trees arrived damaged, not damaged but destroyed. Then the replacement tree they sent showed up the same way. What a waste of money! And if you love trees you should probably be upset at how these are packaged. No possible way for them to survive.
I have ordered from this company several times. The trees are well packed and always arrive in perfect condition.
Excellent condition, packages very well. No damage done to the branches or the leaves. Seems to be thriving since there has been no leaf drop at all. Lots of roots forming. I hardily recommend the planting mediums that Pam's offers. We have to wait and see how the Curly Willow does.
Not only were the plants I received in bad shape but I had to go through multiple issues and miscommunications. They seemed to not be organized as every agent I spoke to had a different response and solution but unfortunately was not always accurate. Had to waste a lot of time on the phone trying to resolve things. Eventually I was issued a refund but i would have preferred better quality plants and a more honest description and fair pricing.
Purchased a muscadine and it has been in the ground for 3 months now. No sign of life. Not one leaf. My walmart grape vine beside it is doing just fine. Seems to be a defective vine
Order process was good. Myer lemon tree and two hydrangea arrived. The hydrangeas were cramped in the containers with a lot of dead that had already turned black. One the past several weeks, i'v nursed them back to help and I think the hydragenas will survive, and I hope the Myer tree survives and begins to show new growth.
We love this plant nursery! It shipped the fruit trees we ordered so carefully. The trees were in excellent health, and the biodegradable root bags made planting so easy. We will definitely order from this company again in the future.
The plants and trees came in healthy unlike some I ordered from other companies. I will use them again next year.
My son arranged to have two Yoshino Cherry trees delivered as a Mother's Day gift. They were delivered the day following shipment, in perfect condition. I have never seen such professional packing - two trees, in planters, in a long box with planting material, rooting enzymes and stabilizing kits to keep them straight. Everything was firmly zip tied so not even a leaf was out of place or damaged. We are very excited to see these trees grow over the years. Betsi B. www.Florida DreamPainter.com
This nursery has surely perfected the science of shipping their fine products. My last shipment arrived witht he sturdy box "FOLDED" in the middle. It must have taken a real shot during shipping. However, imagine my surprise when I opened the box to fine my two box woods in perfect health and showing no signs of damage. They were secure in their pots, as was the soil! They are in the ground and looking quite fine.
I bought a mulberry tree. $32.90 total for a one quart tree with bugs. I called customer service and was told to treat with Neem. Or I could pay to ship it back and pay to have a new one shipped to replace it. For the price I paid for an 9 inch tree, I am beyond upset. I did not pay this much for an infested tree I need to treat, and risk infecting my other plants with the mites. I gave them the chance to replace it, but unless I, m willing to pay shipping for their mistake two more times they will not step up. (shipping to return and shipping to get a replacement} So the price of a tiny mulberry tree is not $32.90, but almost $70.00... REALLY? Thanks but I will go back to just about any other nursery... I can't afford to do business with fast growing trees! Order # *******
I ordered 5 juniper shrubs and 3 lilacs. The plants arrived well packaged and fresh with no sight of damage or decay.
Planted them in my Nevada ranch, they are doing quite well! Would love to order more from the same supplier--packaging was very protective, trees arrived in great condition!
Ordered one for myself and another for my daughter. Such a difference in size - I was disappointed in the much, much smaller one that I received.
We are very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the different sizes of your plants. I believe that one of our customer service agents has reached out to help you get this issue resolved. Reviewing the photos that you sent it they both look beautiful and healthy in their new pots and homes. We try to make sure our site is clear on if we are selling by height or gallon size. With a living plant some may have more leaves than others but they will flush out new leaves and continue to grow. Again, we are very sorry that you are disappointed in the size of one of your plants.
Weve bought many plants from fast growing trees and they are all growing strong and beautiful! Very satisfied with their customer service. We had a few plants that were damaged and they were replaced right away, no hassle at all.
I paid nearly $130 for the 6 foot tree. TREE is a misnomer, it was a 6 foot tall STICK! The "tree was about 3/8" diameter at it's widest and as small as a pencil lead at the top. I planted it anyway - it didn't survive the winter. I live in zone 8 - this is supposed to be good to zone 7 - not even close. The little Charlie brown tree has no leaves in mid May one year later. $129.95 PLUS $14 shipping - down the drain - don't fall for the hype about fruit in a year - it probably ain't gonna happen! Order ID ******* Also - the site DOESN'T post bad reviews EVEN if within their terms of service (I read them). They throw a bone out there of one bad review, but this very same review was posted there - they wouldn't publish it because it is critical of the product. No foul language or anything, THEY DON'T want you to see a critical review! They cherry pick the reviews they wish to publish - Obviously crooked!
Terry- We hate to hear that your trees didn't make it from last year. When your plants arrived and were not up to the quality that you expected calling us would have helped turn your experience around. We have a guarantee that if your plants do not arrive to you happy and healthy and up to your standards to please contact us immediately so we can look at what you received and help make it right. We cannot help fix the issue if we do not know there is an issue. Persimmon trees do start out thin with minimal branching but once established will grow to be a beautiful tree. Some trees like to grow up before they grow out so they create a taller canopy. Again, Terry we are very sorry that your trees didn't make it over the winter. You can do a scratch test on the tree to see if it is just slow coming out of dormancy. If it is white or green under the bark it is still alive. You can send some photos to us on our website and our plant specialist can review and and help you determine what would be best to get the tree thriving again.
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
Kelly I am very sorry to hear that your plant arrived in poor condition and you were not given the service you should have been given. I had my plant specialist reach back out to you and take care of your order because you should not have had to go through all of the trouble you did. Again we are very sorry and we appreciate your feedback so we can use this as a training tool.
