And the plants were in terrible shape with one that's now lost all of its leaves and the other struggling to hang on even with plenty of sunlight and water. My initial order arrived severely damaged... the delivery company did not follow the instructions on the box and it was almost folded in half. However, the trees were not properly packaged inside the box either. I am glad I purchased the route insurance as I am not sure who would have been responsible for this dual problem. Two new trees were shipped out immediately and were properly packaged the second time around. Both shipment contained very tiny trees. I would say neither shipment was as big as what I had paid for. At least 1 to 2 feet shorter. However, I successfully planted the trees from the second shipment and they are alive and well with new branch growth and leaves. Overall happy with the experience, just temper expectations about the size of tree you are getting for the price.

Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
