Fast Growing Trees always has a great selection of unusual fruit trees. I've never seen Lychee trees sold anywhere else, nor have I ever come across such a vast array of Avocado varieties. And one of the very best things about this business is its outstanding customer service. Their products are healthy and well-packaged, but in the rare instances when something doesn't arrive in tip-top shape, they're very gracious and quick to make it right. Because of this, I feel confident shopping here.

Lots of issues with website today on iPad. Unable to update account information, my cart doesn't save even though I'm logged in, things that show in stock when browsing are showing out of stock in cart. I understand things sell quickly but I'll go back to browsing and it's still not showing out of stock. I'm also unable to change my password due to mobile formatting. The fields do not seem to line up correctly. I filter out zone 5 but see things for zones 9-11. Lots of little issues.

Ordered 2 shrubs and a tree that arrived this weekend. Ridiculously undersized for what I supposedly ordered. Tree is pathetic looking and not worth anything close to what I paid. Branches cut off all pieces. Very disappointed customer. Somehow all my comments keep getting deleted off Facebook. Don't waste your money here, buy local!

Buy local. Pathetic condition and size for the price, and definitely not what they advertise!

I was really excited about my trees. Customer service was great and helpful in replacing some of my first shipment as there was a disconnect in shipping request hold. The replacements however I'm still waiting to see if they are going to thrive. They seem lack luster and leaves are discolored and dry. Assuming stress from shipping but it's been a week and I'm not sure they're going to bounce back

They somehow managed to cram all 3 of the plants I ordered into one small box. I wanted to be impressed, but half of the branches came snapped off and/or brown, so there's a lot of regrowing I need to do. I also slashed my hand on the giant staples they use to seal their boxes

Ultimately, I'm too lazy to send them back, but I'm probably not going to buy from here again.

My two trees arrived with most of the soil in each container out of the container. One tree had a cardboard piece to try and stop the soil loss but it was broken free. Either the packing was poor or the FedEx handling was extremely bad. I can't say which was the problem but my expensive trees are dead. I called and was told to wait until the 21st and call again. So, I loose growing time and am not sure what they will do. We will see as it's only a couple of days away.

My delivery arrived on a Thursday and my 2 shrubs, and fertilizer were not included. Called to resolve issue. Lady who helped me was nice and rescheduled delivery for the missing items and they arrived on Saturday evening. I had already scheduled to have them installed, but had it moved to Sunday since delivery was late. One shrub looked dried out and half dead. I reached out and requested another shrub and still have yet to get a response.

Fist time was good. Issue resolved (they missed 3 of the 4 items that I ordered) and my shrubs were delivered at a later time.
Second time I requested a replacement for a shrub that was unhealthy looking and still no response.

I ordered a 6-7 foot cleveland pear tree on the phone with an assurance that it would be delivered in 3-4 days. 8 day's later a box was left on our porch. When opening the box I found a sickly looking tree with most leaves having fallen off with only wilted brown and green leaves left clinging weakly to the few branches that had not been clipped off for the tree to fit in the box. My wife and I decided to plant this tree to see if it will "make it." We'll see; but, am not confident.

The first round of trees sent to me were not great. They died within hours of arrival, despite transplanting and caring for them. The replacement trees were a little better but there were spots on all of them that make me question whether they will survive (Multiple dead leaves, gouges in trunks). I'm not sure how they can ever produce fruit the first few years. We will see!

Opening the packaging, the box was in perfect condition. The plant itself was missing several main leaves and had two that were damaged and I did not believe they would rebound. That left 4 main leaves in reasonable shape and I thought they may remain viable. These remaining leaves were appx 8-12 inches in length. Certainly not what I would expect for a plant that was $99.00 and sold as a 3-gallon plant. The container was no more than 1 - 1 1/2 gallon, I would guess. Overall, I was disappointed in the plant as sold/delivered.

Tip for consumers:
Other places to find the product that are less expensive and hopefully in better shape.

I anxiously awaited my baby tree. It arrived well packaged and on time. And although I knew the tree would be trimmed to accommodate the box and transit, my new little tree had been massacred and was completely bare on one side. Now two weeks after planting it and watering it as instructed it's dropped almost all of it's leaves. I don't know if it will survive and if it does I can only hope the side that was overly pruned grows back. Otherwise I've wasted $200. Time will tell I guess but at this moment Im not impressed.

Plant arrived with three stems and appeared healthy. It was planted in a large pot with one bag of General purpose potting soil. Kept well watered and initially fed with fish fertilizer pot is inside the sunny and warm front porch. After a couple of weeks two of the stems darkened and have died off. The remaining stem produced three new sets of leaves which were doing well until they began to wilt.

Bought two fig trees. One looked great out of the box, now 2 weeks later leaves losing color and starting to fall off, yes we water and take care of it. The second tree arrived with most of the leaves yellow with brown spots and 80% have fallen off in 2 weeks. It was recently transplanted before shipping, but it was in such bad shape upon arrive to CT, it should have never been shipped. No new growth yet, maybe they will survive but will need constant care. The soil they plant in must be very poor.

I sent 2 different sets of pictures of trees I ordered and they were shipped during our biggest snow storm. They were in the cold delivery truck too long and arrived dead. I reached out to fast growing trees with pictures. They replaced 2 small plants and told me to give the others 2 more weeks. I did. They were still dead. So, I sent more proof in pictures in a email. The Indoor Avocado tree I received came with brown curled leaves, it got worse and then they all fell off. I did everything the instructions said. Then a different tree is sent, I follow the instructions and the same thing happens. Is there something wrong with the tree or our humidity? What is the solution for these leaves turning brown, curling and falling off?

Purchased 2 Vanilla Orchids, a very difficult plant. First order arrived late and dead (froze). Replacement arrived late today. Some leaves froze and wilted. Soil temperature at 53 degrees. Don't understand how you can ship tropical plants across the country in winter, in a box with air vents and no insulation or heat packs and expect them to live. I'm going to attempt to revive them, but not very confident that they have much chance of making it.

Replaced my dead plants no problem, but the replacements were half dead too. Just waiting to see if they make it to find out what they'll do if they don't.

Plants were all broken and mangled when they arrived 1 or 4 did not survie and the other 3 and struggling having arrived with most of their shoots broken. Additionally communication has not been great, did not receive emails about shipping then I called and they said they would send me a shipping tracker, it never arrived. I posted a complaint using the form online and supplied pictures of the broken plants. I have never received a reply.

Contacted twice.
1) enquire about shipping tracking, they answered my questions (saying it would arrive that day) and then said they would send an email with tracking info, I never received any communication.
2) complaint about the plants being broken and mangled. Contacted via web form and provided pictures, never heard back.

Fastgrowingtrees sent me a beat up, dead tree. I let them know it was in poor condition when it arrived, and customer support said it just needed to be planted and it would perk up. I gave it good care, but it didn't perk up. When I followed up with the company, they didn't replace the poor product because I hadn't paid extra for the warranty. I'm sorry, but I don't think I should have paid extra for a warranty just to have a quality sapling sent to me.

I called and was told that it might be back ordered in someone should contact me and that was 2 weeks ago I still haven't heard anything. I've sent emails with no reply.
I want my tree.

I ordered the LSU fig trees for my father in law, shipping was super fast, BUT when they got here they had been flipped so many times the trees were upside down, leaves knocked off, and broken limbs. After trying to bring them back to life they both withered away at this point not even being a month later. Instead of the two day delivery, it was a seven day delivery and the trees were somewhat dried and one broken. I think they will survive, but since where I live it's not in the zone for the ZIP Code on the site, the trees had leaves and we've had several freezing nights which have done away with those! I am new to the area and just learning, but it could be an expensive lesson! A little more help from the "experts" would have been valuable.

I called wants to change the delivery date, and I called back in a few hours to keep the original date; however the shipment was much later then originally quoted and then took longer to deliver (I guess a FedEx problem), but I had to reschedule the planting.

I was alarmed about the leaves and called to find out if the trees would be expected to live. I didn’t get a definite answer. The service agent was nice, but expert experience did not come through on the call. I asked to extend the date of my warranty based on the delivery and planting, and she understood and took care of that issue.

Ordering online was fluid and effortless. I ordered three trees, (One Fig, Two Avocado Package with Suggested Fertilizer). The trees arrived within one week. One of the boxes was crushed. Upon opening the base of the Avocado Trees stems were brown, there were no leaves on them they had all fallen off. The fig tree was wilted and brown. I debated spending the time or money to plant them but followed meticulous planting guides to properly place them in the earth.

I contacted via E-Mail as the package of fertilizer included with the Avocado Trees was not included. I looked thoroughly from them. After no contact from the service department I reordered two fertilizers packs online. When I attempted to review and lookup my order it was missing from the website. Showing no trees ordered just the fertilizer packs. I had kept the receipt with order number thankfully.
