In all my years on FB, I never thought an idiom would cause my acct to be restricted, but here we are. I've had other restrictions, even had a review lift a restriction once too. The last time, however, I got restricted for using the idiom "beat you to the punch" for "inciting" violence. Okay, I get it, algorithms... Sent it up for a review for the review to get immediately denied. Okay... So did it even get read? Did the person reviewing it not recognize the term? I have no idea, no way to ask directly and when I tried to file for an overview appeal, my appeal was not chosen to be reviewed... Last attempt to fix this hotmess before my Birthday so I do not have to say thank you but I'm in FB jail via messenger, I call customer support. The voice message left their was they do not have customer service for FB accounts at this time. Too bad, so sad for me.

For the most part I do like Facebook. Mainly because of the people I have become friends with and a lot of information. As for Facebook they suck. It is a subject that could take a lifetime to talk about. Sure they have their rules and regulations but then they do stupid crap like remove posts that really should not have been removed or they reprimand you for requesting to many friends then they make suggestions of friends whom you don't even know. Then while they are deleting your good posts they will not remove a post that is sexual or enticing. Or they suspend your account (put you in Facebook jail) for doing nothing wrong that they see as wrong. O the list goes on and on...

Sometimes it is a good app to share valuable moments with family and friends, but it has too many restrictions and many times they have tried to steal my information on their platform. So you have to be careful what you share on Facebook.

At one point in time, when people wanted to meet new mates, they'd go to the mall, theater, park, etc. But someone had the not so 'great' idea one day to make an online platform where you can meet people from all over the world and then... never talk to them.

Who cares if you only have 3 mates at school and one of them is the lunch sheila who scoops mashed potatoes? As you can have 3000 mates of FB that are eager to read your every waking thought, look at your booty, or steal all of your images and then use them to catfish other people, well, you're going places!

If you like having your information stolen and sold to companies, while not making a dime but giving the founder pennies on the dollar for each second you're glued to your screen, you're in the right place! If you love giving away your every location through live streaming to your eleven and a half fans, so that the big bad's in the world know exactly where you are, what you look like, and that you didn't like that bagel you ate earlier, well, then Facebook is right for you. A lobotomy might be as well, but that's irrelevant.

Facebook used to have event search by date and location. This is gone and was an essential feature. The facebook product teams needs to add this back immediately. Do they event conduct customer reviews before making silly changes?

It's a great platform to keep in contact with your friends and relatives. However, they should get better at taking care of all the trolls and haters! Get a better report system and actually DO something, maybe that would give you five points!

Facebook provides many opportunities for communication and information exchange. However, their privacy policy sometimes raises concerns.

Facebook's popularity was helpful for me in doing online business, but this was my primary usage, it was social for me when it first came out, but over the years up until 2019 my interest gradually changed and I embraced my inner money-man (entrepreneur).

By business I mean trading second-hand goods, selling things I had made personally (woodwork ie workbench, bird table, park bench), advertising and before Covid-19 - selling my services i. E do something useful for a person, I also found it useful for job searching, useful to get references for the next job. When things were good. Not the usual tasks of most other people, just scroll, like and comment... For me that got old... I say in the past tense as I have since stopped using for the reasons I will get to.

I was partially successful in facebook business when I paid facebook to advertise a now defunct business of mine doing Swedish Massage on table and in a specially adapted chair for upright massage, along with small-scale carpentry, produced with all the traditional jointing methods instead of screws and glue. I cared about quality over quantity and that's still my mindset going into business.

I had a steady stream of customers messaging and phoning me, things were looking good, but you know. What goes up must come down in terms of success/failure. I feel like that applies to me quite often. That gig had halted abruptly... but anyway

The social aspect can be a bit toxic. Having "the wrong opinion" all too easily breaks up your friendships (I didn't have an issue with a friend before entering into a debate) it proved to me that actually, I had made some fake-friends. I could filter them out when it dawned on me. We have absolutely nothing in common, not just in general, not only did i not like or care for the things they were into, but many were SJW'S or sympathetic to Woke politics. If you read a couple of my reviews, i'm more than clear about how I feel about that stuff. I have to break ranks with the weak.

I'm fully charged when it comes to politics, It's my most passionate subject... it's also the most risky if you're right of center. And what do I mean by that// well.

Sometimes this disruption is a bit contagious. If you fall out with one person, but they are known to your friends, then it makes you fall out with your friend, even though... the person I don't like (because they made me look like a fool before, took advantage of my kind nature etc) has nothing to do with OUR friendship. That is where it gets toxic. There is a domino effect, that also doesn't deserve to happen. If we were real friends, they would overlook the situation, and that is how I draw up my conclusions on the "social" apsect of social media to be vapid, superficial and accessory. I don't need other people's drama. I just need some success, hence why I focused a lot more on the business side of things.

I also noticed that when people add me or I added them, it was only conditional to us meeting each other in a establishment like school/college/work. We would never hang out, outside of this context... to me, a friend should be someone you can just call up and rock up at their house un-invited, go play some Xbox or playstation, and "chill out with bro's" at least, that's MY vision of friendship. It didn't happen

As for getting banned... again, having the wrong opinion, engaging in wrong-think and just joking about things I shouldn't because I want to laugh, got me banned, not once... but twice! I don't believe anyone is so offended that it warrants 30 day bans or permanent banning. It doesn't make sense. But it happened and it's just a real waste of time where socializing is concerned. We need to be going back to the old fashion way of meeting up in person.

Overall I cannot recommend facebook especially now with the virus going about, it taught me, we only really have ourselves to be friends with. There's a reason they are called friends... because they ALL come to an END. I'm okay with that. I've since decided not to start another account on there, until at least, after the virus dust settles. In summary, (was) good for business, bad for friendships and bad for social-mobility, but ending on a positive note, you can make it work for you if you try and don't give up.

Facebook wants more business, yet they are very restrictive about how you go about it. They want everyone to fit into their concept of the world. If you don't they cut you off. Example you can send out 200 messages at one time to your "friends". However, if you want to make it more personal and send them out one at a time, they allow you only 50. People don't like impersonal messages. They get them and erase them. However, if you write something like Hi George, I would like to invite etc etc for two lines you get very good responses. With personal messages I get 20-30% of the people to come to my website. Promoters work on a basis of 1 out of 50-100,000 to visit and one out of a million to make a sell. Big difference. Unfortunately, Facebook is too big for individuals to request changes. Make up your own mind what you want to do.

Ok we all know Facebook is a big social site where you connect with people all around the world. However you could end connecting with the wrong people and may have to block them. Some them are spammers, scammers, people who steal your photo to create a fake page or account, hackers, etc.

The management is horrible. When you report a fake page or account, they wont come to your aid. They also temporary block me of one unknow feature and going too fast today. I tried to feedback but they never replied. The whole day, I had to keep closing out a annoying pop message.

I don't know if their ads are highly worth it.(lets just say things have been hard for my business) I haven't got to try it out yet.

Overall I give this big social site a 3 star rating. Nothing more

Your company made my ordr right but my order was delivered 6 days late becasue the shipping company was "busy" no phone calls or communication from them, i had to track down my order. Promises were made 2 days and they said GUARNTEED my order would be delivered Monday and then Tuesday, instead had I not made 8 phone calls Im not sure they would have ever delivered it, The first call I made they didn't even kinow where my package was. Initially I was told my package had been delivered, nope sure was not then they couldnt find it. Unorganized and not ok when I needed the items on Friday and didnt get them until the next Wednesday. You NEED to hold your delivery companies responsible.

I only use it anonymously for groups. Facebook is nothing special overall. It's filled with toxic ads that try to persuade viewers into certain lifestyles.

There was a time where I was consistently banned for being honest. It has stopped for awhile now.

Overall i get Facebook its all about tracking and brainwashing the minds.

Well you all know that almost every one has a Facebook account with makes it the one of the great place to advertised your business in when you can great a group or a Page.

To be honest, Facebook is just 'blah'. It's just there. Nothing special, average features and nothing innovative about this platform. They are pretty extreme on negative comments. Too extreme if you ask me.

The Facebook market is full of scams. If you are looking to buy anything off Facebook, be very cautious. There are also a lot of fake profiles scamming people.

Trying to contact Facebook about issues or help with anything is 100% impossible. Their support documentation is mediocre at best. But hey!... at least we can keep in touch with people from high school. That's all Facebook is good for.

I started to write negative comment, but then stopped myself. Is it soooo bad? Just to mention, that Facebook connected me with my now husband. For that only I must glorify it forever and I will, but I really don't see how could it be helpful nowadays. I connected with everybody I wanted to be connected and can call them now. What else to do there? I really don't know. Time waste at the best. Sorry Facebook and thanks a lot. My husband is great.
