Horrible customer service. I was sent a book that was not even a us book. It was international. I emailed the company and told them it was the wrong book, they responded by saying no refunds after 30 days. When i told them it had not been 30 days only 16 they again said no refunds! Not professional at all. Its a company based out of China. They are basically robbing college students. I got half a book that was international so i couldn't use in the us and i was out $79! Amazon is a better option if you don't want to lose money.

Please make yourself a favor and DO NOT order from BookXpres.com or any of it's sites, such as Austin-books.com, ezytexbook.com, collegexpres.com, textsociety.com, etc. All sites look very similar but are masked under the same Hong Kong operation. It may be a scam.

My experience:

1. Ordered, got confirmation from austin-books.com
2. Waited 5 days (3 business days) for order status to change from "New Order".
3. E-mailed through site to inquire about order status.
4. (2 hours later)Receive official e-mail from *******@worldpay.com that I've been charged.
5. (1 hour after that) Receive e-mail from *******@gmail.com: "cancelled out of stock" and another from *******@bookxpres.com verbatim: "Cancelled. No stock. Try www.ezytextbook.com"
6. Reply requesting immediate refund and explanation why charge if it's not in stock
7. Receive the following: "we didnt charge you. We sell international edition textbook"
8. Calling my bank to report company and request charge void.

Do not order from any of these sites or sites that look similar.

The worst experience.

NO EXPRESS SHIPPING - although you pay for it and it states on a website that they are promising an EXPRESS shipping.

No courtesy from a customer service... At all. I wrote them an email asking them, when should I expect my book. In response, Lisa - a customer rep. Canceled my order.

NEVER SHOP THERE!

NEVER SHOP THERE. I had bought a book brought a different website and got no kind of email certification at all, i finally contacted them and told me it was out of stock, but was never going to tell me, so i went to this website and come to find out it is with the same person, so a warning to you now do not buy go somewhere else, and make sure they have good reviews! bookxpres.com is the same thing as ezytextbooks.com

Okay website. I ordered a book to ship to PO box, and they emailed me back two days later asking for a physical address (they could have said "No PO Boxes" on the order form). So I changed my address online and emailed back to reply when the book will ship. No response. Two days later I get another email from the same person "Desmond" from their customer service dept once again telling me to put my physical address on my account. I told them I already did. Again they did not reply to my email.

I emailed again with no reply. Its now 10 days after I ordered and still no reply, no order status information, and my account says "New Order".

My advice to anyone ordering a book from them. Think twice.

Got my textbook after 5 days, but their price is really cheap!

I was very suspect after ordering a book, and reading the few reviews out there. I received my book in 5 days.
