My experience was good.
The only negative was that the glasses I ordered were on "back order" and were not available. I was told that my glasses would be shipped within two weeks, and in fact I received my glasses 10 days later. Better than the estimate, but not quite as good as I had hoped for when I made the order.
The people I dealt with were 100% first class, honest, up-front about the delay, and they followed up on the delivery - excellent customer service!
I ordered glasses through the website last weekend. It said that it would be a max of four days for them to receive the frames and then ship out my glasses. Today is the sixth business day, and there has been no change to the status of my order. It just says "vender". I tried calling to cancel, but their phone was not answered. Ordering from them was a waste of time for me.
Easy directions cut & dry love the colors they fit nicely...only the price was a negative...but when you need glasses you go to the best store...because they'll do a great job

Found a specialized item I was looking for (cable eyeglass temples), but through a "backdoor" Google search rather than directly through the eyeglasses.com website (where I purchased the original frames and which frames are no longer offered in the color/finish I own).
The screws for the temple pieces were not screwed in completely, leaving the temple pieces somewhat loose. I had to finish screwing them in completely myself. This is a final inspection issue that should have been done prior to shipping my glasses.
Disappointed that myeyedr does not carry this frame anymore, extremely happy that I was able to find it here in just seconds.
Disappointed that after I paid extra for faster delivery, the order confirmation said it was sent using free package delivery
All worked fine but when I tried them on in person I did not like them so I sent them back. I probably won't do this again unless I know I want the frame in question as I don't want to pay shipping charges. There are other options where there is no cost at all.
So far so good, was able to use a $30 coupon. My glasses were delayed a few extra days, but overall seems like a great company. Customer service kept me up to date on progress. Thankful to have lenses that aren't all scratched up.
It was a great bit of news to know that my old frames could be used and I didn't need to buy the same frames again to get my prescription updated. Just had to send in my older frames while they took care of the rest. Now I don't have 3 identical frames. Just 2.
I had called and emailed to have the tinting removed from my order but after being on hold for 45 minutes the phone disconnected and then no one else would pick up and no one responded to my email so I have permanently tinted glasses that I thought were transition. I do like the frames
I like that while I was shopping, a representative asked me if I needed help via chat without my prompting--- made the ordering experience much smoother. Received glasses as ordered. The only thing that would have improved the experience: I think they should have cleaned the dirty nosepads (or replaced them) that I sent in with my order. I know that isn't what I was paying for, but it would have been a nice touch. Otherwise, very satisfied.
It is very simple. You have plenty of information on your website to get a good understanding of all the options you provide. You removed the option to search for glasses by the dimensions which I loved before when I first purchased glasses from your site. Wish that was still an option. It is hard to find the right fit and when it's an eyeglass purchase, it needs to be the right fit or it will cost you to find another pair with the shipping costs going back and forth. I recommend making that option available again. Also your settings on the prescription power are not available at all fractions on your website, which left me wondering how good my prescription can be when it's a few points off what I was prescribed since I couldn't enter the actual value on your website. Thank you.
My overall experience was very good. The only thing I'd like to add, is that once my order started it would have been good to get a notice estimating the amount of time it would take. But in the end, the order was smooth and I'm pretty satisfied.

There were no problems, and they arrived faster than I expected. They were 'replacement frames' for my originals, they were 50% cheaper and came with a hard case which I don't believe the originals did.

I was able to explore many options before making a choice. However, when I received my sunglasses, I found they were not dark enough for me. When I ordered, I had to choose between 50% and 85% and went with 50%, but that was a mistake. I have sent them back with a request to darken the lenses further.
I was a little skeptical about buying glasses online but decided I would chance it. Not only are my glasses perfect but I saved almost $200 compared to what my Optometrist charged. Anyone on the fence about buying online go for it you'll be glad you did.
The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is that there is no indication of when the purchased product will be shipped. When paying for overnight delivery, the only notification I saw was that it only indicates how long shipment takes after order ships. But nothing about when the shipment leaves.
The lenses were correct per my prescription and the glasses did not need any adjustments. I also appreciate the help that I received from your employee while chatting on-line while in the process of ordering.
After an initial lack of communication where two of three eyeglasses arrived and I was waiting for the third pair, Eyeglasses.com has certainly redeemed themselves with constant communication and now deserves five of five stars.
The web site lenses product info and selection pages are full of clutter and information duplicity. The process should be straight forward and step by step. I would hate to be a possible patient and after selecting a frame encounter the overwhelming amount of information and clutter in the lens decision making and ordering process. I'm 67 years old and have Internet technical background but, boy I'd hate to be a novice and encounter your lens ordering process.
Answer: If you have a significant correction like me their quality is poor! Go somewhere you can trust will have quality control and customer service to help if your lenses don't actually correct your vision.
