Find my GlassesUSA review. This experience was entirely different. I received my order yesterday. 8 days after my order was placed. The frames were not what I expected. I called eyebuydirect.com and requested a return per their policy. No challenge what so ever! The simple fact that I had a human answer and an immediate resolution made all the difference. By the time I hung-up, I had a prepaid, emailed shipping label without any corporate straight-arm nonsense runaround like my terrible GlassesUSA's experience.
I had two pair of glasses saved in my cart for this sale. I log in today only to find the frames are out of stock. That is what your system said anyway. However, if I ordered it again today without progressive lenses, it is available. It's not like I can change my prescription. The weird thing is, I just bought this exact item in my cart 3/19/24. Today I have to pick something I didn't necessarily want but needed sunglasses. Baloney if you ask me.
The quality of glasses is great (when done right), but the emailing sector of customer service was practically a nightmare. I was handed over to maybe 5-10 different representatives just to replace a defective frame (scratches all over the lenses), and all could not answer my questions or solve the problem. However, Shanna from Live Chat resolved the issue in less than 20 minutes. The reps in charge of emailing kept sending copy/pasted responses and didn't understand me no matter how much I explained the situation.

There was no communication with the eyebuydirect regarding with my order. I got a confirmation but there was no email if my items were being deliver. Took over three weeks to my order. The glasses are okay, they fit okay. I just had my new prescription last month but for some reason the vision is not what I expect it to be. Blurry... I might need to go back to my eye doctor and double check his prescription.
Cause of people's review and virtual try on(not accurate)
Selecting, customizing and purchasing my prescription sunglasses was easy. I received a few updates on the process of my order but after a week I stopped receiving updates and when I would log in and check the status it would say still in process. About a week and a half after ordering they randomly showed up in the mail. So other than poor communication on shipping and therefore no tracking information or shipping confirmation, my experience was good.
Had the style I liked at a fair price.
Site is easy to navigate, but would be helpful if one could enter current frame size and be informed which frames would likely "fit". I ordered two pair and neither fit the bridge of my nose... one so poorly the lenses end up about 1.5 cm about my eyebrows! Have to push that pair way out on my nose in order to get the lenses positioned well enough to see properly. Probably will not buy again from here.

I'm new to wearing glasses, and wanted a spare. I inputted the Rx numbers into the website the best I could. When the glasses came in, they worked for reading, but not for driving which I was expecting. I think what happened is that my eye doctor had two Rx's on file, one for distance, and one for reading. The glasses are nice, but I already have (non-prescription) reading glasses. Not sure if I should spend the time to try to exchange or what? Let me know what you can do for me.
I did a Web search for best on-line reading glasses, and came across an article, I think it either Good House Keeping or something similar to that.
I kept misplacing my glasses, so I'd thought on-line was an economical option to get a spare... (and if they turn out ugly when they arrived. Heck it's a spare).
It was kind of cool they offered accessories like the chain, which I bought (to help me not misplace them so much).
I went online search and found eyebuydirect, price is reasonable, try several frame. Found one which I like, filled in the prescription part, didn't expect the PD # need to be clearly confirmed prior to processing. Also, was not aware until I went to tracking, then directed to "Chat", because it was sitting in "Holding" and was wondering "Why?", finally problem solved.

Frames were nice but only one of the lenses had my correct prescription. Glasses were cute and fit well but I need to get the lenses fixed. I'm going to say, sinse all three that I ordered came exactly the same, that maybe there was a glitch in saving my order before I placed it. Because i did have them in my cart for a day or two before I decided to actually purchase. I would try again in the future.
I purposely chose an inexpensive frame because I was skeptical about buying glasses online and I'm glad I did. I don't know if it's the shape of the lens or if it's just not an accurate way of obtaining prescription glasses, but it's like looking through a fishbowl. Wearing them gives the illusion the flat ground I'm standing on is at an incline and I immediately became nauseated. I chose another slightly more expensive frame and I am waiting on that pair to see if it's an issue with the shape.

I chose a large frame because the "try on" feature made them look much smaller than they actually are.
My daughter went away for a couple of weeks. She received the glasses. Within a day or two, the lenses were loose.

Glasses were in "almost there" for four days. Shipped. They went to the St Louis Mo PO, which sent them the wrong (nearby, Jackson Mo) PO, even though I received an email that they would still be delivered same day. Nope. Next day I checked the tracking. They were sent to some PO in Texas. Next day, they were in Garland Tx where they remained for two days. I assume someone finally realized the mistake and sent them overnight. Not your fault but thought you might enjoy the trip these specs traversed.
I was disappointed to get my glasses and have the wrong prescription in them. The pupillary distance was incorrect. Evidently what I needed was not available in the frames I ordered. I wish this just simply could not happen via website design, but somehow I got it done, but pretty sure I did not change the numbers. I asked for a return, and that has been handled well, but I have not selected my replacement set yet

I ordered glasses and from the day they were marked shipped I received them 16 days later. I paid for antireflective coating. However, they reflect everything to point that you can probably see what website I'm on in my glasses. I wanted to return them, however that was not an option because I received them outside the window for returns due to my military shipping address. Fortunately I was offered to exchange the glasses so I did for a slightly less expensive frames.

I responded to this ad through the text message you sent me which offered a coupon to purchase "OOOBOHO" and 2-day delivery, once I completed my first pair of glasses, neither offer was available to select from. Please do not text me offers that draw my attention, yet are not available to me...I consider that as false advertising. Hopefully all goes well and this will not be my last purchase.

Satisfied with product. Ended up paying just under $100. Better price than brick and mortar Rx glass places, but not nearly as inexpensive as it OUGHT to be. I have enough mfg experience to know that the cost of production is nowhere near the price, so they're still gouging the public, just not as badly as the big name chains.
The selection of frames and lenses was decent and the price reasonable, however I received a message from EyeBuyDirect saying my shipping was going to be delayed and to wait for shipping confirmation. I received my order 14 business days after I had ordered, however no shipping confirmation was ever sent, leaving me in the dark about my order. Checking the order status was not very helpful either, as it said it still had not been shipped when I checked 12 days after ordering.
Style/Price
I bought the Gallo frames. Width of field of view for deluxe progressive lenses disappointingly narrow. One nose pad defective--will not swivel (defective mounting box). Plastic ear hook covers slip in and out on the ear pieces, making adjustment nearly impossible.
Good reviews in on-line search. Good price. However, the pain of lower quality may last long after the pleasure of low price.
Very slow delivery. I chose self darkening lenses for 2 pair of my glasses and they barely change in full sun. Would definitely not choose that option again. Will stick with normal lenses in the future and get other sunglasses.

It seemed delivery was purposely delayed because I did not pay for rush treatment. A cheap and deceptive part to an otherwise very good experience.
Convenience and price
The item is as described, happy with glasses. The delivery time was slow and the customer service representative that I chatted with and expressed my concern about my order being stuck in the mail process was short with answers and did not empathize.
This was the second pair of glasses that I purchased from EBD, the first pair got to me real quick via usps.
Needless to say, this will be my last time getting glasses from EBD.

The price for my progressives was great. I emailed with customer service asking questions about my progressives and they wouldn't directly answer the questions. I don't know if they didn't understand the question or simply didn't know how to answer. I don't know if I could have called, but I emailed as I was at work. For the price I'm keeping the glasses. I may order another pair at some point, but I would probably go with a smaller frame.

I love my glasses I ordered and received. However I had originally placed my order as the express or fast option due to my very dire need of glasses since I lost my old ones.
The order was placed and everything was fine but two days after I placed the order I got an email saying they couldn't do express for my order and cancelled it. If I still wanted my glasses I would have to order them all over again. It was super annoying but I did it anyway.
