“Complete scam!”

Complete scam! No acai, no refund and they keep charging your credit card. I'm a big believer in acai but this is not the place to get it. I tried to save a few dollars by buying my acai online instead of whole foods and got hosed.

Beware of Acai Berry Power 500 Free Trial Offer - I ordered a "free" trial bottle of their product (a 3-day supply) on October 25, and received the merchandise on November 13,2008, nineteen days after sending in my order over the internet. To my dismay, when I opened the package I found a small piece of paper included with my "free bottle" that stated "I understand that unless I cancel by calling *******480 within a 14-day trial period (which begins on the day you order the product), my credit card will automatically be charged eighty-nine dollars and thirty one cents for a 31 day supply of Acai Berry to be shipped at that time to my door." My 14-day trial period had ended before I even received the goods--and they were all set to charge my credit card $89.31 when I called to tell them I was canceling my Visa Card. In addition, they had also given my credit card number to some other outfit, which had charged my Visa $29.95 for "membership," unbeknownst to me until I received my statement. CROOKS, CROOKS, CROOKS!
