Experienced Moving

I moved with this company and they quoted me a great cost. I went for it. I moved half-way across the country and thought the quote they gave me was pretty good. Well, it turns out that this company contracts out your move to other companies. When the other company came to do the move, they told me once everything was packed that i had nearly double the amount of space that was originally quoted. I was stuck and had to move so there was nothing I could do but sign and pay the huge extra cost. So I drove my car out to my new city and my new apartment and waited. Waited. Waited for my belongings to arrive. It took almost 3 weeks for my things to finally get there and they didn't tell me they were coming until a couple of hours before they arrived. And guess what, it was another different 3rd party that delivered my things! Since my apartment was further than 75 ft from the truck, I had to pay another $200 cash to the guy since they had to go further. Unbelievable. And, I couldn't do anything about it since they are not the company I signed the contract with originally. When I called "experienced" moving, they could offer no help whatsoever. All in all, the extra costs were close to $1,500. A lot of the boxes were very damaged and I absolutely had scratches and nicks in my furniture.
