For the first time in my online shopping life I have been scammed. Here's my story. August 10,2021 I was just browsing through my Facebook feed when I saw an online ad. The ad says "JBL Clip 4,649 Php Only". I clicked the ad, checked the reviews with photos and all reviews are of 5 stars. Some of them even verify the authenticity of the items they have received. I hit add to cart, upon check out it says "COD only" and I was ok with it, because in my mind that was safer. I received an email confirmation of my order (which got me a little excited). August 12,2021 No updates, no emails, no tracking information received yet. I sent them an email asking for updates and details. I need to know when I'll receive it because it's COD (Cash on Delivery), and I have some business-related trips but I want to make sure I'll be there to receive and pay for the item. August 14,2021 The item was received and paid by a staff member. When I got it, with a little bit of excitement I recorded "the unboxing". As soon as I peeked through the bubble wrap my excitement was replaced with displeasure (this is an understatement). The box doesn't even have "JBL" on it. It was not sealed; the box was wrinkled and does not look like the original box at all. At this point I was completely frustrated, but I continued on to inspect the speaker itself. The color was off, the material is obviously a much cheaper type, because the fabric (yes, it's just a fabric) is uneven. The placement of the buttons, plugs and holes are completely different from what they show in their product page. I immediately sent them an email requesting a 100% refund or a replacement (an authentic one to be specific). To this day, I still haven't received any replies or any acknowledgement of some sort.
