I was excited to receive my starter pack but I think your billing system could use some improvement. There is no notification that the monthly fee is coming out of your account. Well as a busy mom with a full time job and two teenage daughters with activities and being pregnant with my third child, a son, I was shocked when I discovered my account was overdrawn. I didn't receive any e-mail notifications or a phone call or anything. Unfortunately, I had to pay $70.00 on top of the cost for the package. Every other account that does reoccurring monthly charges on my account, always says a reminder e-mail or phone call and that is very helpful. The products are ok, my son did not do well with the diaper cream but he didn't do well with several diaper creams and really only A&D ointment is ok for him, like my daughters when they were young. I thought the laundry detergent worked good but the plastic insert to direct the soap was turned the wrong way and it was difficult to pour (finally after I used enough I ended up having to pull out the insert and turn it myself, it was just to difficult to use and spilled everywhere). I never really tried the shampoo or the other washes because they were not rated by EWG (Economical Working Group) and I wanted to make sure the products I was using for my son were not harmful to him. Its my go to website for my family to make sure we are using safe products. The laundry soap I used for my clothes and the diaper cream I researched the ingredients before I used on him. Either way I believe that not only is the product important but more important is the customer service and the operational duties of the company and that is why I give this a one star. I called to ask them about the notice and they did say they do not offer that. I asked if I could return the product and get a refund and they said there was a restocking fee and I had to pay for shipping. The most economical shipping I found was 70% of what the cost of the product was so after I added it all up it was not worth it for me. I cancelled my subscription and kept the package and was out more money than I had wanted to be. I have learned a valuable lesson as well though, when signing up for trial offers, from now on I will be making sure that the company sends out a reminder that my account will be charged.
