This was my first purchase from evaluesoftware.com, which I found through shopping.yahoo.com. I was a bit skeptical, so I used a one-time credit card number from my Discover account, ordered the download, and voila--it all came together with ease, and at a GREAT price. Plus, when I had some concerns about burning the download onto a CD, I received very helpful LIVE phone support. I would definitely buy again from evaluesoftware.com. I heartily recommend the company!
It is TOO LATE to tell everyone but this company is a fraud run by criminals. Microsoft verified 1/31/15 that the Activation Key Code given to me by these criminals is NOT AUTHENTIC and NOT GENUINE MICROSOFT. I hope there is a way to find Nate Mumme and put his low life A** behind bars and everyone else that had any involvement in this ONLINE SCAM to STEAL from unsuspecting dumb'os like me and everyone else who got screwed.
THE ORDERING WAS THE EASY PART, HOWEVER THEY SENT THE WRONG PRODUCT TO DOWNLOAD, WHICH WAS VERY FRUSTRATING. AFTER LEAVING A MESSAGE, I DID NOT GET A CALL BACK FOR ANY HELP. FINALLY I GOT THROUGH AND RECEIVED THE NEW EMAIL WITH THE CORRECT DOWNLOAD BUT STILL HAD QUESTIONS. AGAIN, AFTER LEAVING A MESSAGE, NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. THE DOWNLOAD APPEARS TO BE TAKING 9 HOURS, WHICH SEEMS LIKE A LONG TIME! I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF THAT IS NORMAL, BUT NO ONE HAS CALLED TO TELL ME.
Decent prices with proper descriptions of RETAIL versus ACADEMIC software licenses which most other companies tend to confuse & mislead you into buying.
Waiting to get download code. Bought micosoft office student edition on wed evening and yet to receive code Thursday after 5. Hopefully will come soon.
Just a recent (02/2012) experience review: Purchased Adobe Acrobat X on disc (OEM, just a disc in a sealed paper disc envelope), which was delivered very promptly.
Included was a serial number on a separate card that had data not matching the disc envelope but it installed properly and passed the automatic verification/registration with Adobe. So as far as I am concerned, the transaction was 100% as advertised.
I gather most negative reviewers had problems with the download-and-get-key-later arrangement, I can't comment on that because I didn't purchase that way, but it does seem as if some purchasers maybe didn't read the fine print closely enough.
Evaluesoftware obviously isn't your mainline authorized reseller but they did deliver for me and have been in business for at least a year, so they have to be at least somewhat legit in spite of the gray-market vibes.
Had some issues activating. Purchased Office 2013. Ended up figuring it out, and everything SEEMS to be working and legit. Still probably wouldn't purchase from here again just from sheer shadiness.
My first contact with customer service went very well as the representative was pleasant and ansered my questions in a professional manner. The ordering process went well. However, after difficulty downloading the product, I called customer service. This experience was very bad as the representative was rude and not helpful at all.
Things were fairly simple in ordering. The site is okay, but it doesn't feel quite as user friendly as some other web providers (not necessarily software related). I was unclear as to whether or not I was receiving a download, a CD-rom, or both. Clarification on order details would be helpful.

I downloaded an adobe program. The instructions sent with the download were missing critical information. When I called, the person on the phone was almost rude insisting the instructions were in the email I had been sent. Once she gave me the info I needed all worked well but too bad what I had to go through to get the info.
Having one previous (successful) software purchase from these guys I ordered Office 2012 Professional on disc, which was advertised as being the "full retail package" version. The price was only a few dollars below Microsoft's retail.
I did indeed receive a copy on discs, along with a key which worked, so I am happy there.
However, the discs were labeled "Promotional Disc: Not for resale" and the package seal had been broken & then re-shrink wrapped. But it all worked, so although they are obviously dealing with "grayware" it seems more or less OK. I do recommend buying discs that include a key rather than download with the key to come later (you hope).
Kindof hard to know what program and price was better for me very little details on differences and definitions. What is a AE download compared to a full version download. Never aw option for mac version either.
