We had our flight back home canceled and we asked for an extension of the rental period. The Athens Europcar call center helps us very quickly and effectively.

The car was great. The office is near to the airport. The check-in time took a bit longer than it should. Overall, everyone was nice and professional.
Most importantly, I received the car that I booked. And then I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and professional the team members were. Also a plus that contracts were all handled online.

Not clear that you had to call to be picked up by the local team. Pickup was described in the terminal, however, no one would be at the terminal. Also the water for the windshield wipers was empty.

We are not permitted to display signage in the airport or in the arrival hall, even though we understand the need for signs. Despite the fact that all instructions were included in the voucher. Our shuttle bus is allocate in the bus station opposite of the Arrival hall, 50 meters of the entrance of Arrival Hall.

Very good experience. There's no Europcar office at the airport but they were waiting for us and drove us to the office which is only 2 minutes from the airport.
This was the dream experience that we want to have each time. Good reception despite very late or very early time. Good car allocation and nice experience at the parking.

Check in desk and car location were right there at the airport. Friendly and Knowledgeable employees. We rented 2 cars at seperate times, and both were in great condition.

The Europcar staff were helpful and friendly, but the instructions in the Voucher that CarFlexi.com provided were misleading, so I had to wait for almost an hour in the airport, trying to find the shuttle that takes you to their office. On top of that, I had contracted a Full Coverage insurance with FlexiCar but Europcar said that because I had not contracted it with them but with a broker, they had to retain 290 euros from my account and in case there is any problem they will get this money from me and I will have to complete a bureaucratic process with FlexiCar to get it refunded.

It is true that since we took over the Europcar operation in Greece (01/10/2021), we have made every effort to provide our clients with exceptional travel experiences every time they use our service. However, the airport regulations prevent us from displaying any signs in the airport or arrival hall. Even though the voucher you received contained all instructions.
Considering the insurance you mentioned, we thoroughly investigated your case to ensure that all procedures were followed consistently and responsibly towards our client. The Rental Terms & Conditions on the voucher your agency shared with you when you booked the car online state that the credit card will be blocked for 290 euros when the car is picked up. Upon notification after the vehicle is returned, the cardholder's bank will release the deposit blocked on their credit card

Good and very professional, the only problem was that I was charged 37€ for after midnight service instead of 25€ that was indicated on the internet when I made the reservation.
I booked Jeep renegade but got Mercedes A180 which is comparatively a very low car which didn't connect with smart phones and terrible trunk space and issues on driving towards heights.

We booked a car in the class of a Nissan Qashqai, because we wanted a large car for our family of 5 (with 500+ liter of boot space). Instead we were given a Mazda CX30, which is a significantly smaller car (430 liters of boot space and less leg room). This seems to be a recurring theme with Europcar, as in our previous vacation in another country we ordered a VW Passat and got a Skoda Octavia, in the pretense that they belong to the same class. We will avoid Europcar in the future.
