Purchased part for truck and needed it asap, so I paid the uncharge for 3-day shipping. By 4:00pm on 4th day no product; asked for a credit for difference between regular shipping and 3-day uncharge ( seemed a reasonable request) No credit issued only given what I would deem excuses, saying basically its "not our fault" Its 1:00pm 5th day still no product
Best to shop Amazon... fast and service has to be better.

I purchased a flat-tow kit and accessories from etrailer. They were shipped right away which was very helpful because I was planning a trip and needed to get the kit installed immediately after arrival. I checked with the installer prior to the merchandise arriving and found that the wiring kit was wrong. I had to order a different kit, from the installer, to meet my timeframe and they charged me $165 to return the merchandise. I would recommend going to the dealer direct if you're not going to do it yourself.

Called because shipping container was damaged. Talked to a great employee, that took care of me throughout. Got into the delivery, no missing parts, just a manufacturing/welding issue that could not be excused! I purchased this unit because I needed it, could not wait for a new part of the same unit! Told no STOCK WAS AVAILABLE. Employee, made judgement call and price reduction was agreed to! Case closed!
Please, as a seller, don't pass off perfect product, cosmetic nor manufacturing defects as usual!

Bryce was more interested in selling and withheld technical information. VCCYL37 is a direct replacement for the VCCYL35.

I ordered a kit for trailer wires I needed for the following weekend. It got shipped usps not ups or fedex. Definitely did not get here in time for my trip. Great product great company just pay for the better shipping if you have a deadline! I will use this company again as they have great products at fair prices. Just wish someone would have given me a heads up my parts were not going to arrive as stated during the order process

Called about why my product wasn’t there. Guy explained a breakdown at the post office sorting machine. (Did not save my trip) offered to upgrade shipping on next order. That seems about as fair as I’m gonna get.

The trailer is still with La Mesa RV. On the GM web sites I am seeing a lot of complaints for new truck 7 Pin Connector issues. Some say dielectric grease on the contacts, some say better ground and some say don't plug in the connector with the truck running. If I use that break controller you suggested how will that impact the current Silverado system. The trailer mode turns on the cameras on the mirrors for lane changes. I am told that the break controller pulses the break lines looking for a connection. Seems like this is a big GM Issue that they are ignoring on a *******. 00 truck.

I think it uses the wrong style of bolts for bottom 2. U needed a cone shaped bolt for such tight tolerances.

While the answer was technically correct and the best answer for the question available to date, I felt that not having a product that fits my needs takes away from the overall fitment I wanted for my trailer. The whole trailer is built with single wire lights to include the interior lights. I find it hard to believe no one makes a LED single wire interior lights. Yet, no amount of searches has found anything to match the incandescent original. My o ly recourse is to use an RV porch light and ground it to the trailer.

I posed a technical question and received an answer that lacked the wisdom of experience at best and was so general that it read like a fortune cookie at worst.

I live in south St Louis, about 30-40 minutes from E-Trailer. All my previous orders have been delivered promptly and I believe UPS was the delivery service. This time I ordered a small item and it took over 9 days to show up. USPS was the carrier. I constantly monitored the shipping progress and it appeared they are slow to move the package thru their system. I'm glad I didn't need it quickly. I don't believe USPS is a good service for your outstanding company. Just thought you needed to know, Guy N

Sent wrong parts but looks like its being resolved. Have done business with them before with success

I ordered 2 trailer coupler locks, keyed alike. They arrived 10 days later, not keyed alike.
I could find no way to contact the company online, so I waited on hold 30 minutes. The customer service rep who answered said he would send 2 new locks and a return slip for the original locks. I waited another 10 minutes for him to complete this.
When I asked who I could talk to about the time I lost due to their mistake, he said there was no one. When I said that wasn't acceptable customer service, he hung up on me.
I wouldn't waste my time with this company again.

Addendum 9/13/21: Fortunately, a customer service representative called and corrected the situation afterward. They did the right thing, but it was a hassle getting to that point. So, I upgraded my rating from 1 to 3 stars.

I get it - I was looking for a specific part, and you're trying to sell what you have on the shelf. The response to my question admits that the tail light on my 2013 Itasca Cambria is unique - and there are 4 of them. I'm hoping to get a direct replacement for the 2 that are starting to fail that are specific to the body molding of the RV.

Seems like for my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 6.5 bed the rear bed pockets won't accept the rubber inserts. Are there clamps used? If so how are they installed and do they limit the capability of being able to slide the race on the bed rail tracks?

Etrailer filled my order in a timely manner of two small marker lights but shipped cheap and slow. They shipped UPS from Missouri and in this case UPS sat on the package three days then turned it over to USPS in Missouri which sat on it for another three days. I live in South Alabama. 8 days later this package is in Ga stalled again with USPS as of this review. When contacting Etrailer they said this is their normal $4.99 shipping unless you pay their inflated faster shipping methods. Won't waste my time ordering from Etrailer again.

I have been buying from eTrailer for years now. Their prices are good, and they used to have excellent customer service. Now their prices are still good, but the customer service is getting pretty terrible. It seems like they may be outsourcing the customer service, or they have people in charge who are not watching out for the customer, and instead are obsessed with crossing their t's and dotting their i's. ETrailer needs to wake up and get back on the customer service focus or customers will be fleeing.

Etrailer had fast shipping and also answered a couple of questions I had. I'm not impressed with with the Reese 5th wheel adapter though. The welds were not ground down prior to powder coating, so the first time I moved the T handle to lock the adapter into place it took the powder coating off. This happened on 3 of the 4 corners and because the welds are so high I can't tell whether I'm meeting resistance because the adapter is locking in correctly or if it's because of the high welds that were not ground down.

After reading the guide to the W/D hitch it's a E-Z hitch Trunnion type 92-00-1000. The guide states that this type of hitch you can back up with a turn and should not have any problems. Since all the bolts were loose still can't help thinking they were not tighten to spec before I left the shop. The guide does state after the first hundred mile to check but this was extreme. I ordered a Curt trailer hitch, wiring harness and bike rack. The etrailer.com website stated the rack would hold 5 bikes. The only way that MIGHT happen is if two of the bikes are men's bikes. Not real practical for a family with husband, wife and three kids. When I called customer service I was told I would have to pay $32.00 return shipping because the pictures on the website showed the rack holding 5 bikes. When I asked the customer service rep if he had ever tried to put 5 bikes on this rack he replied no. It looks like a high quality bike rack but it will not work for a normal family of five. By the way, the box says it will hold 4 bikes and then in another place it says 5 - something not quite right.

As always, shopping at e trailer is great however this time my package was tore up. Luckily it wasn't damaged. Please think about how you package heavy items in the future. Jack fit great and looks great, I'm sure it will turn out fine.

When we received our Conventional Ramp Door Spring for 8' Wide Enclosed Trailer - Dual Spring - 150-lb Capacity, we opened the box and the right pulley had a piece broken off the edge. It seems some safety foam of some kind should have been used, as a short drop onto a hard surface or banging the edge of the box on a hard wall must have caused the damage, snapping off a piece of the cast aluminum. When asking for a replacement part, I provided a picture of the broken piece. That was earlier today; if I don't here back on an ETA for our need part, I will revisit the review process and leave more up-to-date remarks.

When I originally sent my concern to them, they got back to me within an hour. But since I sent the photo of the damage, about 3-4 hours ago, I've heard no reassurance that we'll have our part sent out right away. That give me anxiety as I'm trying to make a needed trailer roadworthy again. Like the product, the process could be tightened up to make the customer feel more reassured.
