I very much wish you could search by garment number AND fabric number. For example, I wanted to purchase a blouse in addition to the dress I was buying today. I purchased this same blouse previously and loved it. So I wanted to buy it again but with a new pattern/fabric. I found the blouse right away but could not find the fabric from a dress you are currently promoting. By the time I did scroll through I had already made my purchase and decided to save money and skip it. Maybe another time.
I am thoroughly disappointed with this company. Twice now my orders have not been processed in a timely manner, there has been no communication of delays or an apology for failing to produce the ordered items in the timeline they originally specified. To add insult to injury, 2.5 months later, 2 phone calls, and 3 emails later, still no refund or verification of order cancellation. They are basically taking your money without filling your orders. Stay away!
I love the custom sizing. I have particularly long arms, and it is a joy to have long sleeves that actually come all the way to my wrists.
My only caution is that I have had the experience of purchasing a garment that I assumed had pleats, where it actually had slits. It fit perfectly but felt too revealing to me once I had it on. Lesson learned; take a very careful look at ALL the photos of your chosen garment before ordering, so you don't end up with a garment that doesn't meet your expectations.
I saw someone wearing the outfit and I loved it. Asked them where they got it and put me inline with eShakti…. The pants were just a little on tight side the top fit great…. The product was expensive but I think the quality was well…. I won't be able to purchase much because I don't like spending lots of dollars for an outfit. I can usually find two or three outfits on sale somewhere..
All of the clothing I've ordered has looked amazing and are very reasonably priced. Especially for many of the embroidered pieces, the quality I received at the given price was shocking (in a good way!). The selection is very broad and there's a good variety of options to choose from. I've had good success with the customization options (I've primarily made the dresses longer and added long sleeves). And the dresses and skirts have pockets by default, what more is there to say?
In terms of the shopping experience, the website was overall easy to use and intuitive. I only have minor complaints surrounding some oddities when using the search tool on the mobile website: you can’t access the customization tool without fully clicking into the product (you can if you open the preset categories) and you have to click on the photo of the product to open it (clicking on the product name below to photo seems to redirect you to the home screen instead of the product). In terms of shipping, my orders have tended to arrive at the latter end of the 13-19 day estimate or a while after the estimate, but given that the clothing is custom made, I am not annoyed by this. The option to track where your order is in production is nice.
In general, I’ve been very happy with the products I’ve received. They’ve fit me very well and are very flattering. The designs are beautiful and unique. Fabric quality has also been good, especially for the georgette pieces I’ve ordered.
I've ordered from eShakti many times over the past three years and enjoyed my dresses a lot. I've also had many compliments. I'd say I have an 85% success rate, have only returned a few things over the years and the customer service has been good. I have ordered the standard sizes, done custom sizing, and fabric customization, all with good results. I think it is important that you have a good sense of what colours, styles and shapes suit you and your body type best for the most successful result. The value and quality are really excellent.
Love eshakti every time! Let me say - I am an extreme case. I am 4'10", but its because of 3 scoliosis curves... so my legs actually think I am 5'4", and its from the waist to the shoulders that I am crunched down and compressed. I'm also plus sized, so while I can get pants that fit fine, shirts, dresses & skirts are not possible. So finding ANY affordable custom clothing is amazing.
But how well they get the fit... and all the extra AMAZING details like the huge pockets, the bra stays, the extra, hidden, buttons over the bust to prevent gaping... It has me singing their praises to EVERYONE - because lets be honest, every one has a clothing quirk, whether it's being taller, shorter, small waisted/big hipped, or just always preferring a certain sleeve length.
Wish that could select a dress style, then a fabric/color. Or select the fabric and then see a few dress style options. Occasionally there is a lovely fabric but a dress style that doesn't suit my needs, and then there will be another dress that is perfect and its the same material but a different color.
My purchases always have the perfect finishing touches.
The dress is good quality. Unfortunately, I ordered a size that is too small. I ordered a standard size instead of requesting a custom fit. The top fits perfectly, but the bottom half is way too tight for my pear-shaped body. My fault! I haven't given up. I recently ordered a different eShakti dress, custom fit, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to wear that one. Sadly this one will join the other clothes in the back of my closet - the ones that are waiting for me to lose 30 pounds.
My experience overall has been great the multiple times I have ordered from e Shakti. My dresses hold up well and are in all good quality. I have needed to return a few items, they have made the process easy but as notified on the website and the letter sent with the items it takes on the longer side to receive your gift certificate, but not passed the length of time indicated, I'm not sure on a refund as I am always interested in purchasing new items.

The website is true to color and look, when I received all of my items they were exactly as shown. I have 14 dresses from the website to date and assume I will have many more. The website itself is easy navigate although it does seem to have a lag issue when scrolling.
I love my dresses, I get a great deal of compliments on them. I utilize the customization option and I have to say it is amazing how well my dresses fit. The only issue I have run into was one of my dresses lost a few of the buttons and I had to replace them all for uniformity purposes. A $1.49 fix saved a beautiful dress.
Overall I am not impressed. I used eshakti back in 2009/2010 after I had my babies. Options were more limited then, but I remembered it was nice to get stuff custom made as I prefer longer dresses and skirts. There are a lot more options now, but I am not impressed with the quality. One dress was terribly made, crooked waistline, armholes way too small. Other dresses too large for the size chart given. Its not worth my time to try reordering. The skirt I got was spot on - I am happy with that.
Ordering is simple but they missed the delivery deadline by 10 calendar days resulting in me having to purchase additional outfits. Then 1 of the garments was so poorly made I don't think anyone can the Jersey knit top. The belt for the blue polka dot dress didn't match the side I ordered either.
I called after not getting my order on time to ask about expediting it’s completion. The rep, Alicia, did a job job as I got in a week later albeit still way over due. But the quality of the work on 2 items was very poor.
Always add at least 2 more weeks to the delivery date they give you.

I have always wanted to try the eShakti clothing as it looks so cute in the photos and I loved the idea of it being tailored to me. Both items showed up in good time but were way too big. Fabrics were nice feeling but details were a little crappy quality. I ordered a medium 10 but not even sure a medium 8 would fit. They were comfy and still cute but nothing I would wear out in public. Hoping to return for refund as I'm not sure where to go size-wise from here. Sad but I gave it a try!
Pretty good.
Received my remake and the hip measurement (which was too small on the first pair) is much better, but the waistband is much bigger as well when it didn't need to be so now they are too big, haha. I am overall more satisfied though because if I have to I guess I can get the waistband taken up so it's better than being too small.
The pants overall are pretty nice and a decent purchase. The legs are very wide so a lot of fabric wooshing around, but flattering in a Katharine Hepburn sort of way.

It takes a while for orders to be send sent to the U.S. That said it is worth the wait. The dress is well made with bra strap secures and pockets. My problem is I have to send it back for resizing. The body of the dress from the bust down is too large. It's like a shift. I sent my measurements as suggested but they allowed to much leeway in the middle. I love the dress but it needs to fit better. So, soon I'll return it. Hopefully, the next order I make will fit perfectly.
It’s easy to shop EShaki if you follow the instructions. They have a huge size range too.
I love the cotton print fabric of the dress I had made. It is very comfortable for Summer. Just wish the body fit had been better. It will go back this week for remaking.

While I find the site a bit confusing to navigate, it is actually rather fun to change necklines, hemlines, etc to see how things will look.
I still haven't figured out how to change the fabric options though which is really irritating.
Nevertheless, I would definitely use eShakti again. It is great especially if you already have a very good sense of how certain styles generally look on you.
This is an excellent service if you find a garment you like. Just be really really sure of your measurements before you place your order.

I'm very happy that this service exists. Decision-making and shopping was a very pleasant experience. Both of my dresses turned out frumpier and duller than what I expected though. If I shop next time, I'll only choose styles than can work well with their aesthetic.
Given that one may need a few attempts to adapt to eShakti, the price point feels a bit prohibitive.
The clothing was very creased and stuffed into a small box, but thats expected. Everything fit very well, the quality is pretty good, not amazing. Came a few days earlier than expected which was nice. I was informed through email about each step of getting the package to me, so even though the customizing process takes a while I didn't feel like they forgot about my order.
It was easy to customize the garments to my exact measurements; for one of them, I was even able to swap out the fabric for a different pattern, which was fantastic! Sometimes I like styles but not the color/pattern so this option opens up so many more possibilities. I've ordered from eShakti before and have recommended the site to friends of mine. This time around, there were delays in shipping; I was originally supposed to receive my items by July 26, but now it's looking like August 5 (though I did just get an alert of another operational delay). It's a minor inconvenience, really, because what's a month when you're getting custom clothing?
The site doesn't really work well on mobile, but it's easy enough to do my order on a desktop. Good quality dresses, and with pockets! The main downside is they're constantly changing their catalogue, so too bad if you want to replace your favorite dress a few years later once it's damaged.
I like being able to filter for fabric types and swapping fabrics for different designs, but I wish they had more natural fiber fabrics. I like the wide variety of styles available.
I'm careful measuring, and I've always had a good fit for everything except the wrist cuffs on long sleeves. I don't have this issue with short sleeves or bell sleeves, but every fitted wrist cuff I've ever ordered has far too large. That's an easy fix if you're moderately crafty, but a reason to stick to short or mid length sleeves. The finishing and quality are good as long as I stick with cotton; the polyester I've tried varied in quality too much.
When you see something that you like, you need to order it as soon as you see it because the better looking selections always sell out. That is my biggest problem with this website. I like that the dresses I purchased are unique. Bigger incentives for return customers would be appreciated; no happy about the how the alteration rate gets quickly added. If you are new to the site, it might be overlooked. Also you should give estimated dates when customers will receive their order because of the long wait.

Ordered a size 2 to give my daughter room for growth. It fits like the size 0 eshakti dresses that she already has. Too bad because we wanted it to last a while at that price. Also took a week longer to arrive than was promised. Customization was perfect and quality was top-notch.
Love the company, ability to tailor clothes as you order them is fantastic. Customer support and return flexibility are really good.
Great experience
While the dress did not fit and I forgot to include the refund slip in the return package, eshakti was very helpful and understanding with quick and thorough responses. Including a prepaid shipping label for returns made the process stress free and encourages me to continue shopping with eshakti now that I don't have to worry if something doesn't fit. Shirt that I ordered fits great.

Fit of dress was incredibly off, shoulders and bust too large with hips and thighs too narrow.
Dresses arrived yesterday, a few days late. Not a big issue for me. They fit fine, although the tiered, floral dress is longer than I expected and will need to wear it with heels. The polka dot dress has a deeper plunge to the neckline than I expected also. I just didn't make good choices for myself. My fault entirely. If these weren't custom, I would return them.

It's easy to order and good turn around time. I'm disappointed the dresses were smaller sized than I expected, but not so small that they won't fit after I lose the rest of my baby weight. Not quite what I expected, but decent quality, beautiful colors, and nice styles.
I love my dress. I was amazed at how quickly the customized dress arrived. I have an apple shape body so the style of dress I chose fits me well and I feel comfortable in how I look in it, which is no easy task. I have a wedding to attend and had already spent hours in stores trying on countless dresses and skirts with no success so I thought to give EShakti a try. I will continue to buy my dresses at eShakti.
