Before I start, i should warn you that this is a glowing review. Totally mushy, and i did NOT receive any compensation/discounts/hugs/whatever, I hear that is a thing.

I LOVE eShakti. I have about 4 dresses and a shirt now and have been so pleased with the tailoring, the quality of the fabric and the general customer service. SO AWESEOME. I was also super pleased to see that each of my orders came with the names of all of the folks who helped make my garment in India and a way to write them an email to thank them, Such a nice touch. I also read that they pay their employees in India a real wage. Again, awesome, as there is always that concern that overseas manufacturing could be sketchy. I should also note that I have kept the pockets in every dress and it has been awesome having pockets. I recommend eShakti whole heartedly!

I have now ordered two items from eshakti. In both cases, I got EXACTLY what I saw on the website, and by that I mean that the the item (in this case a jumpsuit) that I fell in love with on the website is what I looked like when I put it on.

They don't advertise this, but the cotton jersey is perfect for travel. It does not wrinkle and you don't need to iron it. Could not recommend this company more highly. Pay the extra for custom fit and it will fit you like a dream.

I have had several things sewn specifically for me and they all have cost more, including the charges for customization, than anything I've seen on the site. When placing my order I provided my measurements and they had a question about 3 of the values entered. They called to ask me to remeasure as when taken as a whole the garment that would be produced using the values I entered seemed off.

It turns out 1 of the measurements I provided was incorrect. I really appreciated that level of customer service as they could have just did the pattern, yes they actually create patterns specifically for me, and left me to deal with the consequences of my mistake.

I bought a dress and a pant set, both of which I customized. Both are gorgeous and very well made. The pants don't fit exactly right and that's obviously because I measured incorrectly. I may check with my tailor to see what it would take to make the minor fit adjustment.

Regardless, they fit well enough for me to wear the pant set, which I LOVE, anyway. I will wear the dress at my next opportunity and I waiting for warmer weather to wear the pant set.

At this rate of satisfaction, I will need a larger closet! I believe I am nearing 60 eShakti dresses. Why would I buy anything else? The fabrics, solid and printed, are bold and beautiful. The materials are solid and hold up to repeated wear and washing. The pockets are a necessity! The ability to have my dresses fit me, rather than me trying to fit into dresses is a gift. And the customization, not only to my measurements, BUT to chose the fabrics that catch my eye with the dress cuts I know fit me well is beyond a dream come true.

Delighted to open my first order from eShakti of three dresses. I was a little nervous ordering made to measure with personal style choices, but had received a generous gift card and decided to use it up. I chose two assymetrical cotton jersey designs and one faux suede. Haven't worn any of the dresses for an entire day yet, so I can't comment on functional comfort or wear and tear, but I am impressed with the quality of the fabrics on first appraisal and the attention to detail in the sewing of the pieces. The colours were represented very well online and the weight of the fabrics were appropriate to the styles. I'm pretty fussy about the feel of fabrics on my skin and the cotton jersey is very comfortable. The faux suede comes lined. I wouldn't recommend the side slash pockets however, as they distort the fall of the two jersey dresses I ordered. I used to sew all my own clothes and I appreciate the craftsmanship of these made to order dresses at such an affordable price. Delivery was speedy and early. Very wonderful to put on a dress that is tailored to fit.

I have purchased several dresses and shirts from eShakti. I love 90% of what I receive and send back an item, rarely. I take the credit and receive full amount spent, including shipping! I recommend ordering one item to make sure the measurements that you send translate to the garment correctly. I added an inch on the arm measurement - any other problems are obvious on the scale! I really appreciate the little details, either in changes that I make in neck, sleeve, length or the pockets and modesty buttons at in the button up clothes.The workmanship is very good. My mom, grandmother, and friends have also bought clothes from eShakti. They like them, too!

A friend of mine put me onto your website. Every dress that I've ordered has been fabulous. What has worked for me is that I did a 'trial' dress that was fairly inexpensive just to check out fit, quality, and customer service. I was delighted with that dress. I have used that style repeatedly, and just gone for different fabric, sleeve lengths and dress lengths. The gift cards are a great idea. Although, I wish they didn't expire quite so quickly because some of them have expired before I could use them. I have recommended your website to all of my friends. I ordered two dresses, customised in sleeve and length.
One dress is wonderful, the perfect length to floor and arm length. Beautifully constructed, with lining. The other is also well constructed, however, they completely botched the arm length. I requested a long sleeve and its been cut at the elbow, extremely unflattering. The fit of the dress is otherwise good.
They were shipped in around 3 weeks, from new dehli to sydney. It wasnt a problem, I knew it may take a while. It was packaged nicely.
My advice is be careful with your customisations, make them loud and clear. Otherwise i think my first experience was good and I will definitely purchase again, as for the bad sleeve dress I will get the sleeves shortened to a more flattering length.

After having my baby my body drastically changed. Nothing fit as it once did and I began to feel quite bad about myself. After visiting eShakti and trying there option to fit a dress to my measurements, I felt like the myself again. It was refreshing to receive a dress via mail that you know is going to fit perfectly and made from good quality of materials. I'm not saying that a dress cured my self esteem issues. What I am saying is that there is no where else to find the service that eShakti provides and a decent price. I have ordered several times from them and have loved everything I've received.
On top of all that, they know good service. When one of my packages was delayed due to bad weather, they immediately sent me an apology, refund, and sizable credit toward my next purchase. It's a wonderful site.
