My fiancé purchased a KitchenAid Professional 600 Stand Mixer from Ergode.com. After purchasing the item, he tried to call because he received no shipping confirmation for almost a week, but overtime he called someone just answered the phone "Hello", there was no business ethic whatsoever, It took almost a week before he got a shipping confirmation, and that was only after he contacted Paypal for fear of being scammed. I received the mixer as a Xmas present, andI just opened it tonight. I unpacked it to set it up, and the first thing that struck me odd was the attachments were wrapped in paper towels, then the mixing shield was dirty, like it had a film or greasy finger prints all over it. The attachments also did not look new, they weren't shiny untarnished steel, they were visibly tarnished and scratched up. As I pulled the user manual out, it was in a Ziploc bag, and by Ziploc, I mean the bag says Ziploc on it... None of the items were packaged as they should be when you purchase from the manufacturer. This item is listed as NEW, this is obviously not new. I don't recommend this site to anyone. Worst experience ever. If I could leave negative stars I would. Hopefully this place won't give me a hard time with a refund, other reviews on this company aren't very promising.
