You can't polish a poop! New name, new logo, new number, same old useless people working there. This is an insult if they think you're as stupid as they are. In fact to clarify there is somebody working there who doesn't realise that it's a new subsidiary added to the Eon umbrella, and trying to explain it to him I unfortunately didn't have the time or crayons to do. 11 calls later, and one hour and 40 minutes of time I eventually called it a day and decided that when the thousand pound debit hits my account and they realise it, I'm sure they'll be in touch.

Incompetent, arrogant, uncaring.
Issue with 1st Generation smart meter being updated. Night and day rates switched. Long story. But basically had no issues with meter since installed 2013. Eon next took over my supply from ‘n power' Jan this year. First didn't bill for night rate ( e7 2 rate meter) sorted after 3 months and 3 phone calls from myself. Then dcc updated my meter, reactivated smart function but switched rates around. Night rate became day, day became night. Eon next…wow…. Failed to acknowledge this. Have constantly messed with my account with no explanation. Doing things then undoing…unbelievable. They have now failed to respond to ombudsman who have ruled in my favour. In fact eon next have actually persisted in messing with my account even more since ombudsman ruling!. Absolutely shocking incompetence, basically ‘THICK'…(no doubt on good wage) ……. Depressing and so wrong….
They have many good reviews but wow when things go wrong and it's not on their ‘ how to deal with list' they are lost and so they either ignore you, pass you on, or make false promises.

Eon wrongly claimed I hadn't paid my bill, they rang me at home claiming this, the person was rude and not helpful. It transpired my bill had been paid and it was their mistake.
That didn't stop them from putting a mark on my credit file that I had missed a bill payment.
