This product I'm sure did the most it could, I'm sure when something is gone forever (overwritten) it truly is gone forever. However, deleting the backup files to my device after the scan was a pain, you have to manually remove the files from your computer HD instead of simply having an "erase backup" button on the interface to just click. Maybe in a future update?
I bought their standard 1 device recovery, the price they quote being £40, which then jumps up to £48 at checkout to include tax. After purchase, they say they will email you a key so that yo can access the product. After 5 days of waiting with no email, I contacted their "support" email, still with no response. The company is completely fraudulent. It's even more concerning that this software requires you to grant access to a device, reading all your messages, images etc. Stay away

I spent 2 hours doing the preliminary scan for this product. The messages I needed showed up as "locked' so I purchased the program to "unlock" these messages. Of course the program didn't actually unlock these messages. TOTAL scam. I tried contacting the company and they REFUSE to help or refund despite their "satisfaction guarantee"... Luckily I can dispute the charge with my bank. Terrible company, terrible customer service, do not waster you time.

Luckily I realized this was fraudulent before I purchased a key to "Unlock" all my deleted messages. After you do your initial scan they give you partial access to a text message that has been supposedly deleted. My preview had a hotel reservation and message from the sender saying he/she got a job at Five Guys. The only person I've ever know that worked there was my son and he's never stayed at a hotel that's 50 miles from our house... I would give zero stars if I could!

I've had several problems upon purchasing this program. I've been in contact with customer service several times, and they keep telling me to uninstall, and reinstall the program. They are extremely adamant that they DO NOT give you a refund at all. So I spent good money on a program i've never been able to use since day one, with no chance of getting my money back. I pray that nobody ever buys this program, and that this company goes under ASAP. Absolutely terrible buisness.

Hello Seth, I have checked your query. First of all, you purchased the software and later you realized you didn't want it, in that case, we don't offer a refund, it is said on our refund policy. Secondly, before getting a refund we need to complete troubleshooting and you didn't provide the information we asked you. I completely understand your situation, but I hope you understand ours, it is clearly said on our refund policy.
DON'T PAY THEM $60.00 FOR NOTHING. Their ads lead you to believe they can recover deleted information that still resides within the iPhone. All the software does is scan what is visible and allows you to put it in a doc format. What's more it's a one use product. Enigma is a good name for their product "a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand"

After having to purchase the unlimited data backup, the software quit working all together.
Everytime i would get on there to do a recovery something went wrong with it. Now that i have paid out over 100$ it will not do nothing. And forget about support helping you. It has a chat button, but unless your gonna stay on your laptop for 10 days, you can forget it.
The times i was successful it didnt give me any more info then what was already on the phone its self.
There are way better software recovery out there.

Does not recover anything, the only things that come up are those still accessible on your device... which if that was what I wanted I could just use itunes. Claims to recover deleted texts, which is does not do. Customer service sucks, asked for a refund over a week ago with no response. Waste of $60. Will file with BBB

I purchased Enigma Recovery software for $79.99 to recover a missing note on an iPhone 7, however their product was not successful in doing what was advertised. I contacted customer support with my complaint but they refused to give me a full refund for my purchase - even after I deleted the software and told them I do not intend on using it further. They also stopped communicating with me after I told them I was going to escalate this issue through PayPay (note the case was closed in my favour haha). So, let this be proof that a great company like PayPal is smart enough to sniff out a fraud like Enigma Recovery. Had they been willing to refund my purchase themselves perhaps Enigma Recovery could have avoided this embarrassing review.

On our website is advertised we have a 94% recovery rate and we give the chance to users to use the software before purchasing to check if the data is recoverable. Our refund policy says we cannot offer a refund if you couldn't recover one specific item. There are a lot of happy customers so definitely not a fraud.
Title says everything. They're 30 day satisfaction guarantee is a lie and the whole site is a ripoff. Save your money
Bought this product a few weeks ago and tried to recover photos from the cloud, every single time I've tried since then I get a technical error from there servers, it has not even tried to connect to the cloud once as the software doesn't work. As it says in their refund policy, any technical issues are a cause for refund. I emailed them, finally got a response saying they weren't going to refund me, despite my issue being a legit reason for refund, I have read the policy. So I wrote to them twice more in the last 2 weeks, no response still, obviously they know they're in the wrong and are refusing a legit request for a refund.
The software does not work as advertised, the iCloud recovery does not even work AT ALL, their "customer service" is slow and when you do get a response its from someone who does not even understand your basic request, you will not get a refund even when you have a legit reason for one. Its a simple scam, I should have read reviews before buying it I guess.

I brought their $60 package, which coverts to $125 NZD, which is where i'm from. I believed they would help me with a lot of difficulties I was facing at the time and its been a week later. I still haven't received any emails from their support staff. This thing is a total scam, they recommend you use a free trial and when that doesn't work you buy a package thinking that you'll retrieve old lost data. It does nothing but move data from your phone to your laptop. That's it. They don't do refunds whatsoever basically. Listen to the other reviews too and don't waste your money. Learn from our mistakes and don't put your money into this company when it can be donated somewhere more in need of it.

Accidentally deleted a string of text messages and immediately put the Iphone down to research how the messages could be restored. The carrier tried several options although to no avail, so I googled a few products. Chose Enigma, and let me tell you, what a waste of money. Loaded and ran the program, it discovered a few deleted messages from months ago although not the string of messages that I was looking for. Enigma also listed strings of messages as being deleted even the information was still active. Do not waste your effort and money. Even after email for assistance was sent to the company, customer support remains non-existent.

Enigma Recovery will not offer you a refund OR a store credit. They are a very difficult company to deal with. If you buy the software and it does not allow you to recover what you needed, you will have wasted nearly $100CAD for absolutely nothing. Their customer service is horrible, as other Recovery Software that I purchased all offer refunds. I spoke to three people from their company: Kent, Alvin, and James, and all three of them said NO to giving me any sort of refund. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

It does not recover any lost video or pictures that are lost. If it is not in your deleted they can not get it back... but why would you pay money if you can just do it yourself. WASTE! And they do not reply to your emails if you have a problem with this issue, they just ignore you!

I used this recovery system because I was desperate to retrieve messages i accidentally deleted as I'm sure most people are when they are looking for a recovery program. It recovered messages from months ago but not from days ago. Makes no sense. I contacted support and of course they said well it works 94% of the time, lol that makes me laugh because I'm pretty sure 94% of people are going to fall into that 16% and it won't work. I got every excuse in the book but my favorite was well you updated the iOS so it wiped out older messages. Lol it was the older messages that it found so nope wrong. I wouldn't get this product it's a waste of money and they won't refund your money. They prey on the fact that ur desperate and you need to recover something important take your 50 knowing it most likely won't do what it's supposed to do then stand behind their 94% work and your just part of that 16% sorry. Stay away from this company.
Arbitrarily converted my "lifetime" license to a one year license. Refused to refund. Also, refused to refund a different license when software kept crashing. Horrendous service!
Apparently, the same thing happened to me. It did not recover anything from phone. It just showed me those files that were still accessible. Pretty disappointed.

They take your money and when the software doesn't work, they refuse to refund it. I ultimately ended up purchasing Decipher and it worked like a charm. Avoid Enigma. It is a scam

Like everyone else, I bought this software and I am now seriously regretting it. I bouught it to "recover data from a dead iphone" where they have articles all over the web saying that they can do this. They can, in fact, NOT do this. This software is unable to recover data from a DEAD iphone and their customer service took more than a day to get back to me and they wouldnt do anything. I have also been refused a refund even though their software cannot help me and I cannot even use it to help me (first thing it asks is for me to connect an unlocked and fully charged iphone). If I had a working, unlocked and fully charged iphone then why in the world would I need your help to "recover data from a DEAD iphone". Absolute misleading rubbish!
In short - software cannot do what it promises to and you will not get good customer support
NOTE: You will also not get a refund - that too is a lie, I am currently checking with UK consumer protection about it to see what they can do about this company and their refusal to provide refunds.
Joe did get a refund which was delayed because he wouldn't go through the support process. The support team often get the software to work when the user cannot, which isn't surprising because that's their job. If you go through support and it doesn't work, we offer a refund. It's as simple as that. Joe got his refund but not his data. The message is clear, if you want your data please use our support team.
The 'unlock' to see more should have been a clue not to buy it! It does not work! Don't buy it! Customer service useless, doesn't even read the information I sent them.

Don't buy this crap. Their "amazing technology" didn't deliver and I'm an unhappy customer and they could care less.
Here's the deal. I received a text one day at 9:10am. Accidentally deleted it at 4pm that day. Bought the software at 7pm that day. Didn't use my phone between 4p-7p. Bought 3 products- this crappy one for $60 and 2 others for $30. None of these products could get that one text. The next day at 5p I requested a refund from all companies because I knew I was out of luck. The 2 $30 companies refunded me. This, crappy company said "our software shows you recovered 12 texts so we can't refund you". The 12 texts were some random texts from years ago. No refund and they're not interested in customer satisfaction. Don't buy it.
