It arrived later than promised by the seller.
When mounting the plate... surprise! It doesn't work. The Nvidea chip is defective and shows distorted image.
Now they claim that the return to their place of origin in order to obtain the refund of € 65.29 that they charged me, at my expense of the return costs that amount to € 25.
This is a full-blown SCAM.
Do not buy anything from EMPOWER LAPTOP INC, or any Chinese vendor, they only sell useless garbage

This Company is just selling damaged item with no way to get refund.
At the end you just have nothing left except losing your money!

I bought a motherboard worth $140 on this site. It came with bent pins and other malfunctions (See pics)
The seller tried to convince me to keep it as spare (no joke!) since they would not take in charge postal fees for returning the product back to China.
After some consideration, I finally decided to pay $50 extra postal fees to send it back to China and get the $140 refund.
Guess what? 4 month later I still have no refund, the seller pretexting bull$#*! to avoid Chinese Post delivery! Of course! No delivery, No refund! At the end I just lost $200!

Ich habe ein Motherboard für ein ASUS V3 771G Laptop gekauft. Das Motherboard wurde mir defekt zugesendet! Dieser Händler behauptet die Motherboards vorab durchgetestet zu haben? Aufgrund der zahlreichen Fehler habe ich hier starke Zweifel.
Ich habe mich daraufhin mit dem Händler in Verbindung gesetzt, bekam die Rücksendeadresse (vgl. Unten) und die Aufforderung per Nachverfolgung mit Zolldeklaration zu versenden. Die Kosten ca. 50 € zu meinen Lasten! Nach ca. 6 Monaten, endlosen Nachfragen und Ausreden (Paket ist nicht angekommen, Paket liegt beim Zoll in China usw.), obwohl ich per Nachweis darlegen konnte, dass das Board definitiv angekommen war, wurde es von dieser Firma wieder zurückgeschickt. Ich habe das Paket dann nicht von der Poststelle abgeholt, weil mir wieder Kosten in Höhe von 10 € entstanden wären.
Eine Klage war absolut nicht möglich, da der Sitz dieser Firma sich in China befindet.

Mittlerweile fordert die Post AG von mir ca. 100.-€, weil ich die Annahme (wurde mehrfach vergeblich zugestellt) verweigere

So i bought a used motherboard for my laptop through them and not only are they extremely slow, it took a month and a half to receive it, but the keyboard for the laptop doesn't function. I have to use an external keyboard for it if i want to type anything. Im positive that i didn't damage it, because i was extremely careful with the install and the keyboard was a new one, I even tried the old one as well, I can only conclude that EmpowerLaptop sent me a defective motherboard. Never will i buy anything from them again.

I bought a motherboard for an acer aspire 5745g from this site. They sent me a non-working wreck, because from what they sent, it only came from a landfill. For the return, they tell you that you have to pay the shipping, what you learn since shipping from Italy costs almost as much as the amount of the piece, moreover they could come up with the most imaginative excuses about not returning, so in addition to the damage the insult. Conclusion: if you try your luck with them you could find pieces that are no longer in production, but if they don't work as they did, you have wasted money and time.
I forgot: paypal is an accomplice of these scammers, for the return, since the shipment is at our expense it is useless to open the dispute, they close it immediately, as happened to me.

I bought a 8570w motherboard from this company. The HDMI port was out of function and the mainboard doesn't recognize and also not load batteries (Akku). Sadly I found out the mistakes first after building in the motherboard. I can use the laptop only with an AC Loader and I am not longer mobile with the laptop as I can't use any battery. The company refused to send me another Motherboard. After a long conversation they offered me 18 USD, if I would take the defect motherboard for which I paid more than 80 Euro! Empowerlaptop counts on it, that the porto or money for sending back the mainboard as a parcel to China is for the customer so high, that you don't do it. Also paypal could't help me. I don't know at all, why paypal works together with such a $#*!ty shop. I am also that angry on the paypal customer service that closed down my account.

We purchased 20 CPU boards, half doesnt even boot up, Stay far away! They were all tested by their qualified technicians...

It's nothing more than a scam, they provide you with defective parts then you return them at your expense then don't give any news you always have to relaunch them find bogus excuses it lasts for months and in the end you have lost everything.

I order a motherboard for a gaming pc and it was advertised as a new motherboard which was a lie. Which at first i thought was no big deal maybe i misread it. So i build the pc and it wouldnt work. So i took it to a shop to try and get them to fix it because i tried everything and couldnt figure out why it wouldnt work. Come to find out the motherboard came with bent pins and other malfuntions from the shipper as said from the shop i took it to which is a very trusted company in my local area. Will not be buying from these scammers again and would recommend you do the same

They don't deserve 1 star. They sent out a faulty motherboard and now expect us to believe that when we send it back they will test it and be truthful about the result. Avoid like the plague unless you want to lose money! Not only will you pay for the faulty motherboard, you will pay to ship back to them, and then a fictional 15% re-stocking fee. As we have had the m board independently tested we know it is faulty and have informed them, yet they still ask if we are sure it is their product!

So ordered hard to find board from them. Been a month and it still not here. Emailed them and they keep asking me to wait a week. Postal service tells me they lost it contact the shipper. Shipper actually ask me if the postal service was going to pay me for the loss. Really? Everyone knows that they are on the hook for the package till it arrives that is why they insure the box. Today I noticed the website is suspended that does not give me a confident feeling that this is going to be fixed right.

How is this for customer service. I have already paid for this order

Selling dodge motherboards, the MOBO hasn't come with the proper antistatic, also it came with a lot of dust, I wouldn't mind if it was working after the assembled computer, but not, I send many emails asking for a refund, but they started giving me random "solutions".
I should have done research before spending some euros on these SCAMMERS.

They scam me with a server motherboard. After severals emails, they accepted to refund me 50 usd... they only send me 15.

This company charges £15.00 for delivery the motherboard has been inflight for 4 days should have ran out of fuel by now only 11 hours from Beijing.

I ordered a motherboard from this company to repair a computer my husband brought home from his job. He's an IT engineer, and his company often gives them outdated equipment to take.

We got the motherboard and he installed it (something he does every day at work) only to realize it's defective. There is no POST when you turn on the computer. You hear it power up, and then nothing. The motherboard doesn't engage at all. After more testing, he said it was DOA.

So I contacted the company. "Jesse" responded that the motherboard works and to try again. I explained we already tested it, attempted the install, and that my husband (whom is an IT professional and repairs equipment all the time) confirmed is was DOA. We just wanted to return it.

I was told they would charge me a 15% restocking fee.

I advised again IT WAS DEFECTIVE.

I was told to take a video of it not working. Take photos of both the old and the new motherboard. Send all these thing to Jesse. So we did.

I was again told the motherboard was fine and that we were doing something wrong. This is where things go really south.

I was getting upset. I told Jesse I was done sending videos and photos. I needed to return the motherboard and I wanted to full refund since it was DOA. Jesse advised me "when I get it, I'll test it and decide if you deserve a refund."

Then Jesse asked me to defraud the postal system by sending it back with a lower declared value. That's a felony in the US! I know, because I ship with USPS and am very familiar with the laws due to my job.

I refused to do that, and said I would only ship it back if I was assured a full refund and advised I was on the verge of just filing a charge dispute with my CC.

Then Jesse started threatening me. "I'll spread your cheater lying ways all over the Internet if you don't send it back and send me a tracking number in 5 days." and then again demanded I defraud the postal system.

Lets just say i'm not intimidated, and that my CC company is now handling this. Any further threats will be turned over to the police at this point.

Stay away from this company.

They send untested motherboards and hope they work. If they don't work you must pay the shipping and hope they acknowledge they received it. They give you this address to return it:

Acquistato MB... Arrivata non funzionante. Rispedita, a spese mie, arrivata altra MB... non funzionante. I "signori"credevano che volessi fregarli così ho fotografato le MB insieme in cui erano evidenti i numeri seriali. Mi hanno chiesto di re-inviare la MB (sic) difettosa e sempre a mie spese (38). Morale della favola oltre alle spese delle spedizioni non mi hanno neanche reso i soldi della MB... Sono degli STR. ZI cinesi. Dal loro sito sembra che siano in America invece sono dei raccatta spazzatura di Hong Kong e riciclano vecchi computer e componentistica vecchia e non testata. Alla Larga, sono truffatori approfittando che nessuno può fargli niente. Commerciano in spazzatura.!

Dicen que tienen ******* clientes satisfechos y aquí solo 2 estrellas de lo rastreros que son. Mejor tirar el dinero e la basura vale más la pena. Hay un pin doblado y me dicen que es mala instalación mía, vamos he cambiado procesadores demasiadas veces para doblar algo por un mal uso.
