Emmagowns is a high-class scam that appears to sell quality gowns, but merely profits off the backs of their disgruntled consumers. Their false advertising will lure you in and if you're not satisfied with the sweat-shop product you receive, don't expect a refund without a fight. I initially purchased a dress from Emmagowns for an upcoming occasion and upon its arrival was shocked at how vastly dissimilar the dress was in person. I am yet to be reimbursed months on.

I'm hoping I can give zero stars. I have had a terrible experience with this company and plead others not to shop here. I purchased a wedding dress and paid express postage - it arrived so late that it nearly didn't arrive for the wedding. When it did arrive the quality was SO BAD I could not use it and had one week to find a replacement. I tried to return it and the company would not let me - they made me negotiate a 20% repayment but still have not even received this. It has been an extremely distressing experience.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst service, worst quality, worst stitching. Have a look at the jagged cut edges on the lace on my dress, no compensation offered.

This company are scammers. The dresses are made of poor quality fabric. The sizing is way out. They make excuses for you to not receive a refund and if I had the chance to rate them no stars, I would.
Absolute worst company I have made the mistake of purchasing from, and will not make the same mistake ever again.

Even expedited shipping with 4x the expedited time still wasn't enough. No refund policy. Average rating 1 star from all reviews. The company is a scam do not buy

Bought a dress from them, used their measurement guide. Was sent a dress that was too small, couldn't zip it up, not even close, at least 2 sizes smaller than ordered. Had paid for rush shipping as needed the dress for my wedding dance. When I wrote to them about incorrect size, they refused to let me send it back for refund. After telling them that the dress was sold in Australia so needed to meet consumer laws & wrong size is a refundable thing, they offered me $16 from a $180 dress (not including the rushed shipping)When I told them I want to return for a full refund they offered me $20. This is an absolute joke. They have stopped communicating with me & refuse to provide me with a refund. The dress was also not worth what I spent so I can't even resell it & get my money back. Don't buy from them!

EMMA GOWN is a cheating company. I don't advise anyone to waste their money as they are a scamming company and steal money from you. I asked for my money back as i didn't receive my order. Its been 6 months and i still have not received anything. I will escalate the matter further.

I was promised a dress to be made and delivered in time for my wedding - it never arrived. They then promised a refund and I'm still waiting for the money 10 weeks later.

Your return policy is pathetic and misleading.
Stop your unethical trade. Change your return policy and clearly let shoppers know that YOU DONOT ALLOW RETURNS in any circumstances and then no one will shop from you

Do not buy fro this company they do not honour their order wrong sizes wrong colours very hard to deal with.

I paid extra money for a customised fit dress and jacket. The dress fitted perfectly, however the jacket was way too big and too long. I spent $289.00 to be offered a $17 dollar refund. I tried to counter offer and asked them to provide me with another jacket (made to the measurements I provided & as I ordered) or a 50% refund because only 50% of my outfit was wearable... I have had no success and now they have blocked my emails. Their returns policy and customer satisfaction statements are lies. This outfit was for my daughters wedding. I don't have the extra money it would cost to have the jacket remade to fit. Please do not trust this site!

Had a gown made to measure by Emma Gown, terrible sizing, way too big and tried to return the product and exchange for a smaller size and this was my response...

You can have an exchange.
While, as it has to be returned to China, it will take long time for delivery and cost you much on postage.
Also, there is a high risk of loss and damage of the parcel. As all our dresses are hand made after order, which means the dress is custom made for you. It can not be resold.
If you need, we will make another for you with 30% off, and you can keep the dress that you received. It would be ok?
