“LAW SUIT COMING!”

Gina B.
3/5/16

These people will be sued and brought up on charges of fraud. They offer their products, take your money then have nothing more to do with you. The website closed down, they don't answer their phones and won't return calls or refund your money back. These idiots are straight up crooks! The BBB said they are not a part of them and have very bad ratings. The more people tell their stories, the more we will gather evidence and they will be sued. You must complain to the BBB in Colorado where the company is based.

Place an order in January, 2016, immediately charged my credit card and have never received items ordered. Tried call them over a period of 3 week, no answer at any one of the 5 options available. The website has been closed for at least 3 weeks claiming down due to maintenance.
Do whatever you can to avoid this group!

I am in the same boat. Purchased a bed for my dementia mother on 1/4/2016. Very nice, helpful person on the line. Said order would come in for weeks. Filed complaint with the BBB 1/26/2016 with not much help but, again, nice folks. Feel like there are really no other options. Out $1,500.00. Credit card company didn't think they could do anything. Pretty amazing you can pull such an interstate financial fraud with no follow through with any State or local agency. Pretty frustrated. Targeting folks that can't advocate for themselves and family/care givers stretched to the limit. Trying putting time into going after this but ran out of stream and needed to move on. Would love to have them charged whether we get our money back or not.

Same bad experience as others now reporting on Google+ as well as here; emedstores.com and emedhospitalbeds.com took the money for our 92 year old father's much needed expensive hospital bed on 12/4/15, which we've never received. Now eMed doesn't answer their phones, email or online chat. Two weeks ago Rick told me they were having trouble with their new phone system; he assured me the bed had already been shipped to the third party installer for "white glove" delivery and installation - for which we paid extra. It was to have been received in the next few days and he guaranteed me I would get a call and an email. He gave me his extension to check back with (103), which of course is now inaccessible.

A nice way to provide service for a 92 year old WWII veteran with Parkinson's disease. Another reviewer gives a good overview of the DeZengremel family who own eMed and their various domains. It's not just the money - although that's plenty - we could have been looking elsewhere for a desperately needed solution!

I purchase online all the time. Rob DeZengremel and Rick DeZengremel both sounded knowledgeable about their products. But they are not honoring their commitments and have deliberately become unreachable.

I looked up their domain name... the registration appears to be expiring this month (January 2016). So who knows when they will disappear and reappear with another name completely.

Tip for consumers:
Check reviews before purchasing.

I ordered a Hospital Bed and Mattress set from this company on 11/17/2015, and was immediately charged $1519 on my credit card. Between 11/23/2015 and 1/18/2016 I made 5 phones calls about delivery. Was always told Invacare, the manufacturer of the bed, was having issues getting parts from Mexico, and the bed was on back order. On 1/28/2016 I called Invacare direct. Invacare customer service said they had no issue with back order and didn't get parts from Mexico. Invacare checked my order and said eMed had never submitted a PO to Invacare for the bed. That is why the bed never shipped. All eMed did was take my money, tell me lies, and put my loved one's health in danger. I'll probably never get my money back. Sure could have used it to pay medical bills.

Many nice phone calls. Ordered a bed and mattress. Said it would come in 4 weeks. No tracking number... so I asked them what was up? Said they couldn't find an installer and would send the bed when they could find an installer. Well, that wasn't going to work because the patient needed the bed NOW> Sent them a link to an installer... they never responded. Didn't respond to voice messages or emails. Now when I call the 888 number it just goes dead. Wish I had googled Tom DeZengremel's name before this. You find a 'linkedin account' but when you go to linked in, he's not really there. Don't know how they sleep at night when they are dealing with people in need and just take their money and run. Thank goodness that Chase is reversing the charge for us.

Do not order, they charge your credit card, you never see the merchandise and you will never see your money again. The site is conveniently "Down for Maintenance"
Their other sites are:
emedstores.com, emedhospitalbeds.com, emedscooters.com, emedramps.com

Do not order from any of these stores. I have put in a complaint withe the BBB, local Police, my bank and the https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

An ecommerce venture founded by members of the serially-bankrupt DeZengremel family. We bought a hospital bed 10.29.2015, delivery and set up promised within two weeks. On the phone, I explained that we needed it quickly because a 101-year old uncle was falling out of bed. Three weeks of false promises later, they ceased responding. We tried to rent a bed and found that we could purchase one and have it delivered and set up immediately, so we cancelled the emedstores order.

They always show the bed as "Product in Stock." It isn't –in response to a customer complaint at www.bbb.org they admit being a drop-shipper. They always promised "ship tomorrow." It didn't. After we cancelled, they shipped it to the folks who provide the "white glove" delivery. On November 30, we heard from them and told them that the order had been cancelled before it was shipped to them – this was nine days after we took delivery from a local store. Emedstores.com are not responding to my requests for a refund for the bed that was never delivered.

Their online reviews for the ordered product show 48 reviews; 44 have 5 stars and 4 have 4 stars - not one complaint about delivery. Not even Apple and Dell Computer get those high marks. They appear to be suppressing negative reviews, falsely writing their own positive reviews or both. Independent sites show many complaints exactly like ours: weeks-long delivery delays, missing or damaged goods and misrepresentations by the seller. See: shopzilla.com (47% negative reviews), Facebook (nearly all negative reviews) and BBB.org complaints. On BBB, their responses are scripted, phony and evasive.

Etail Medical LLC dba emedstores.com was formed several months after Rob DeZengremel's second bankruptcy, listing over $14 million owed to hundreds of creditors. His assets were listed at under $1 Million, including his $760K residence at 5156 Rialto Drive, Parker, CO *******.

The CO Secretary of State shows Richard Alan DeZengremel, Sr. As the founder and son Rob as Agent for Service. Richard and wife Kathleen Ann DeZengremel moved from Colorado to Florida to file bankruptcy, discharged in 2011. They listed just $4009 of personal property. They falsely omitted their ownership interest in emedstores as an asset on their bankruptcy petition, and showed no income from it. They live in Prescott, Arizona.

The family, including Tom DeZengremel and wife Erin DeZengremel were also involved in the big family bankruptcy of Gately's LLC in Colorado. That petition listed "insider payments" of about $1.3 Million to various owners and their affiliates during the 1-year period preceding the filing including: $#*! DeZengremel, Rick DeZengremel, Erin DeZengremel, Rob DeZengremel, Tom DeZengremel. The 75% owner of Gately's LLC was Gately's Group LLC, controlled by Tom, $#*! and Rob. According to posted web reviews and their bankruptcy schedules, the Gately's ecommerce empire included sales of golf equipment, furniture and other things on various web sites: gatelys.com, usgolfsupply.com, vitaclassica.com, hometanningsalon.com.

I found 5 individual DeZengremel bankruptcies and one entity bankruptcy. They now target elderly and infirm folks who have credit cards and sell through many web sites, including: emedstores.com, emedhospitalbeds.com, emedscooters.com, emedramps.com.
