I had a one-year subscription to eharmony, and in that time received about 10 matches, half of which were scammers, looking for money or online sex. I reported everyone of them and the selection never got better. I learned not to trust anyone on this site. Do not join. There is no screening at the eharmony site and there are many many bad actors on the app.

Never will I refer a friend. Lot's of scammers, and jut plain rude. Do they look in the mirror? Very, very disappointed.
I'm totally grateful to this site because it helped me to find my sweetheart, my harmony with the world.
I had no success on any other site like match.com or plenty of fish but in eharmony I got the real results I was looking for. They truly give you compatible people and don't play jokes, I like the long test they had that rats out all the people that only want a one night stand or those with serious anger issues (theres lots of them) and absolutely love that those people cannot get into the site, I had success after 4 months on it
I've read so many bad stories about dating scams that it took me forever to convince myself to join a dating site. But what can I say, I guess I am more lucky than most other guys. Joined eHarmony and Chemistry but also Mingle2day and Tinder. Personally, Mingle2day and eharmony worked best for me. Met a few women off both sites. Totally recommendable.
I joined 1 month ago. I wasn't on the site for 3 days and met the woman of my dreams. We really hit it off.We just clicked right away. I have to say I met the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. We've already been out on ten dates. We seem to get closer and closer the more time we spend together. I am so Thankful for E HARMONY because I met my PERSON.
I am totally surprised by the bad reviews about your site. They are completely inaccurate. I think your site is amazing. I signed up half-heartedly at a friend's request, and to my complete surprise, 'met' someone who is incredibly compatible the very next day. Even if it doesn't work out in the end with him, at least I know that there are guys out there that have the qualities I want. Also your personality book is wonderful and was completely accurate. Thank you. I've already learned a lot about myself and my own relationship weaknesses from joining your site.
I joined out of boredom (and some loneliness) one night. Did their assessment and thought it was fairly accurate for me. At first, the matches were pretty lack luster and I sent a few messages and got some responses-but then the conversation would fade off, or the guy would turn it to a sexual conversation. VERY IRRITATING GUYS, especially when a woman makes it clear in both profile and conversation that she is seeking a long term relationship.
Anyway, after about a month, I got a match and reviewed the guys profile. It was pretty bland, but he had some humor, and I loved how he spoke of loving being a father (I was pretty much turned away anyone with kids under 15... didn't want to raise someone elses kid). His son was a senior in high school when the guy made his profile. So, I decided to send him a message.
It took a day or so but he did respond. At first, like all the others the conversation was slow to start, but once we brought up hogs. Hahaha. Yes HOGS... the conversation took off. We were spending HOURS on line, messaging back and forth. I think that was for a week and a half. After that, emails were exchanged.
Then phone numbers... hours upon hours of conversation, getting to know each other. Then came the first date (we both had to drive well over two hours as we were in different states). At first, I thought, "oh well, nice guy but not my really my type" (physically-he's very tall and thin). But he asked me if I wanted to drive around and explore the town we found ourselves in. I had my pepper spray with me, so I thought why not. I'm so glad I did! We drove around, talked, and then we stopped at a store. He had to use the restroom... well, as he walked away, I realized I didn't care about how much taller and thin he was, he had a bum that didn't quit. I had to turn around so he didn't see my red face when he walked out of the restroom.
We left the store and he took me back to my car, kissed me on the cheek and off I went, so happy and feeling light as a feather. On my way home, he called to say thank you and wanted to make sure I was making it home ok. I got home and he called again to make sure I made it home-and we talked for another 2 hours.
We are so compatible, we often say the same thing at the same time, laugh at
The same things and when it comes to physical. Chemistry like crazy. It's been just about a year and we both couldn't be happier.
Eharmony WORKS, but you have to work on it too. The right person isn't going to just fall in your lap. Their chemistry test WORKS as long as you are HONEST with it and yourself.
Want the love of your life? PUT IN THE EFFORT! I LOVE EHarmony and am so thankful I was bored that night!
I used eHarmony for four months and during this time I went on multiple dates. Same were great, some were a big waste of time, but that's not the fault of eHarmony. If you are looking for a decent and honest dating site, I think eHarmony is right for you. There can be a lack of matches in your area, depends where you from. I have made the experience that eHarmony works perfect in combination with Mingle2day which is also a good dating site. Both sites will basically cover all regions so if you weren't lucky on one site you may want to try the other site. Just an advise.
I Had a really good experience on this site. I did meet my wife on this site and i couldn't recommend this site enough to people. Im a guy and i did get a lot of responses back from women over the course of my subscription. You have to be committed to it though. It took me about 6 months and going out on several dates with women to find the right person. Just be patient with it and the site will throw some good matches your way.
Whenevr I ask a couple wanting to be married how they met, they say eHarmony. Always the nicest people getting married. Most say not the first person the met but after a few found true love. Thank eHarmony!
It has the easiest user interface out there, I found my love of my life there and I love her so much, i would definately recommend it to anyone out there that wants to meet someone good, they make you take a long test but its so they can put you with people compatible with oyu.
The most user friendly site out there on the web, never had an issue and found attacktive people
Would totally recommend the site to everyone, its so easy to use and they give you great matches!
If you're serious about finding someone and you're not in a rush, this is a great site for you. I met my husband here and we are happily married. Thanks eHarmony.
EHarmony is the worst dating site I have ever been on! I was on for a month and got maybe 2 likes but the people where all in other states, I complained that I wanted people closer to me, so they gave me a few, and they didn't not even fit what I was looking for in a relationship. I tried changing my profile thinking maybe it was that, but then it wouldn't let me change it. Finally after a couple of days of logging in, it let me. I tried to cancel the service, but because I sign in for the special of 6 months, they will not let me out of it. IT'S A TOTAL SCAM! You shouldn't be able to do people that way. I HATE THAT I EVER GOT ON THERE AND NOW I CAN'T GET OUT! THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED DOING PEOPLE THAT WAY!
I tried match.com and yahoo's personals first (both were terrible). First profile I made they said they couldn't find any matches so I created another one. It's true the personality tests take forever, and I suspect they're pretty worthless (if your answers don't line up into neat little boxes, they don't know what to do... real people, of course, never have contradictions, polar opposite feelings on things, etc.) but I went ahead and paid for the monthly service. I started talking to a couple girls (they were all far away, which is another thing that sucks... there was no one in my state). They do have an option for instant communication or whatever, but I actually liked the guided interaction with all the questions, because I think it prevents an issue on other dating sites, which is the attractive women get hundreds of emails so you never hear anything back. Anyway, I've got to give it 5 stars, because I actually met my wife on here. Back to the problem of matches being far away though, she lived in China. Life is crazy sometimes.
