I am officially done with souq.com!
This is the 5th time that I have ordered from souq.com and been dissapointed. If its not bad delivery, then its broken or missing parts to a product ordered. To top it off, the compensation sucks for the inconvenience. Wait... what compensations besides a whole lot of " I am sorry ma'm "... Wouldn't recommend any one to use this site.

Worst
July 14, 2018

I placed an order for 4 units Tablet from this worst site. At first i got confirmation on order and was expecting it between 09/07/2018 - 11/07/2018. I called Courier company (Qexpress) to check the status on 12/07/2018 and they said that my address is improper (No one called before if they found the address was wrong). So address was corrected and as per CS agent of Qexpress i was expecting the order on 14/07/2018. But order didn't arrived. So i called to Souq.com CS to check the status of my order and then the Unexpected response i received that my order was cancelled "without informing me". They ruined my plan & my vacation as it was an gift planned for kids

I bought some items on 24th of Nov. While some of them delivered till 1st of Dec, the major item with the value of 7000+ AED (all others were related to that one) still is not delivered till today (6th of Dec) although the given date was 2 to 4 Dec when I booked. I have called them several times and also sent several messages and emails to them but so far nobody is taking care of my case properly, and every time I just heard "sorry" with promises not fulfilled.
I strongly do not recommend to buy expensive items from souq. Com because their system is set based on the lowest cost procedure with minimum customer care policies, so they compromise on customer's happiness not to take even simple actions to resolve the customer's issues.

I agreed completed what said from customer services and return and refund and cancellations and people ignore your request for talk to supervisor and not speak English and advice stronger stay way and save time and amazon ignore also and not do any thing

There is no warranty on souq.com products, I had send a TV back for warranty claim, Souq.com cracked my tv screen and send it back and they deny it saying warranty is not valid. How i wish i could sue the concerned people. Also they are very smart there is no actual bill or warranty card that you get from them. I learnt a lesson after buying 11 items from them, although i found a two of them defective before i didnt complain thinking it could happen since one was a kids toy and other was a sunglass. As a matter of fact the souq.com delivery guys themselves claim that souq.com delivers duplicate products and they are regularly taking products back from customers rather than delivering

Frequently sells refurbished items and fake items described as new. Especially things like laptops and iPhones. I have received 2 phones that have been more than 6 months old. With problems that prevent the phone working correctly. I also received a Dell Laptop that was 8 months old when it arrived and had a problem with the touchpad. There complaints department are slow and not keen to help as they just blame the third party stores. Have a look online to see the wealth of bad reviews and similar experience online. I may well make it my personal mission to spread the word on how bad Souq.com are. If you are in the middle east order from Europe or US where they know how to deal with online shopping and have accountability. You can get it shipped with ShopandShip and then you won't be left out of pocket and with a mountain of unnecessary stress!

Last week I have ordered 9 items at once (I bought this items as gifts for my friends as am going for vacation), it took them 07 days to deliver 04 items only (I spent the last 02 days calling them to follow up on the delivery time), the last time I called them, they promised me that they will make sure that I receive the pending items by the evening which didn't happened.
Now I will go back home empty handed because the 1005 Dirhams I spent and 07 days of waiting is not enough for Souq.com to provide me with a professional service as customer, they didn't even respect me.

Conclusion: Souq.com is the worst online shopping website ever exist at least in UAE.

I ordered bag from Souq and I can confirm that Souq is extremely unprofessional. They delivered the item not conform to what has been described, the delivery was with 3 days delay and for the return it took 10 days and every day I receive messages to stay at home the driver is coming! I am inviting everyone here to be careful on what it is announced as it is not reflecting the reality! I had to call every day the call center for the return and the refund. The staff is not trained and not helpful including the manager. I can share more if needed...

I was a very old customer of souq but what happened last time was worst. I ordered one item paid through card when the shipment arrived it was missing i contacted them and they said its not available and noone bothred to email or call to apologize and when i call them they said correspondence going on. After one week when i called a very rude guy told me take ur money back. And i was like why ur getting angry to me it is suppose to be me and i am asking what happened to my order if u didnt had item why u take money and place order and instead of apologizing u guys are fighting. I think they should check the calls how they respond on phone and noone bothers to reply email. So no more orders

My experience with Souq.com is a memorable one. I bought a BUSTED Samsung mobile from Souq.com in which I tried to send it back to repair thru the famous QExpress. I waited 10 days calling them daily for a pickup and they kept promising me daily for that pickup. At last, I gave up and asked them for a solution to my agony. Their solution was for me to leave my work and deliver it myself to their Quooz store which I ended up doing. The worst part is that Souq.com did nothing about it. I complained and called a lot, asked to speak to a supervisor but no action was taken except these useless mails I received from them. That taught me a lesson NEVER TO BUY from Souq.com and never use QExpress again..

I bought an Ipod tough 6 generation protective case for 100+ aed. But when I received it. It was not original. China China China. Class A or maybe class V or something I don't know. But this one is better than nothing no worries souq.

BAD SERVICE

Was told at the time the order was placed that you can see the product and pay.
However the delivery person refused to give the item in hand to see unless you paid cash in his hands.
The item was packed & could not see the colour and gb of the mobile.
Very bad service.

They have the worst customer service ever! Useless! I am collecting the tickets numbers and always have the same answer "we are escalading it". Because of a wrong information they gave me I have been refused the warranty and now I have been chasing them to receive my device back for more than a month!

Major seller quality issue

I have ordered several items from this site from different sellers... this has been my experience:

1. One item was sold as new turned out to be super used

2. One item was sold with certain specifications turned out to be a smaller, bad quality version of the item advertised

3. One item was sold as a special edition what I ended up getting Was a regular edition item

No 1 Cheeting Company

I have purchased one phone (HTC M8) and used only 2 week, got damaged and now they r saying they cannot give guarantee.
First they collected my phone for Servicing ( Phone was in working condition) then they delivered after few days and went back with out saying anything and I try to open phone is not working.
Friend Please don't buy any thing from SOUQ. No 1 Cheating Company

They advertised as free return if you don't like the item, but when you request to return the item they are just sending you to Q express courier and from there again to souq.com, its around 10 days I request return!

Placed the order ************** on 21st July and the estimated delivery was in the next 10 days. I made many many attempts enquiring about the delivery thru the compliant board.

All that I received was one lame excuse in reply and mostly no replies from the customer service. And of course, the escalation button is useless.

I almost accepted that I have been CHEATED but after exactly one month, I received the delivery which obviously I had to return and requested for refund. And now, its another one more month and still haven't got my refund.

This is a scam site and seller is a cheat, INSULTING and ripping off hard earned money of common people.

I buy new product from www, souq.com. Product sensor is not working from starting i complained for return. They didnt get any response from souq after two days i get mail your ticket is closed. Hardly they came after 10 days then they told your product is on warranty now i call every two days. They told me you r on follow up. Now its going to one month. I never seen like this type of service before.
