Received the shipment damaged, notified them within 24 hours - they denied the claim. Apparently I was supposed to notify the carrier but when I called in they never told me that. It was a $260 piece on a $4650 order. Ridiculous that they would decide to not send out a replacement.

Nowadays, it is uncommon to find such superior customer service out of a company, let alone an online company. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. They helped me order parts and install them in my fireplace to get it running.

Customer Service is horrible, i got yelled at by stating that the order i picked is different what arrived. Beware of talking to * from customer support. She is not shy to blame the customer and telling what they do wrong.

Update: I received a call from Customer Service Manager,*. She was very kind and did her best to resolve my problem. I have received refund within 4 business days (~95% of my original purchase price). Thanks for that. Regardless, i should have never had to escalate this issue to begin with.
Anyway i am upgrading my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

I purchased a fireplace unit, mantle and other accessories on October 16th with an understanding that they were in stock. Shortly after my purchase I was notified that the unit was not in stock and would ship on Nov. 16th. On Nov. 19 I asked about the unit again and was told it would not ship until Dec. 15th. And asked if would I like a different unit. But, I have already paid for and received the blower unit and lighting. After some communication with the customer service department they resolved the issue fairly and promptly.

Web site was VERY easy to navigate and understand.
The actual Fireplace insert was well made, complete and fairly simple to install.
It works wonderful and has a realistic, wood fire look when burning.
I am actually going to buy at least one more unit for another fireplace in our home.
Your agent gent knew his product and did not have to rely on the computer description. We also discussed alternate solutions to my fireplace pilot light blowing out by the wind. After adding a 3' section of vent pipe to the roof I also made a 1" bigger wind guard for the pilot light which corrected the problem.
